Leigh-Anne Pinnock has asked fans to "stay with me" as she teased new solo music and hinted she has now left her record label to become an independent artist.
The 33-year-old former Little Mix star took to social media to post pics of herself in the studio as she prepares to release new tracks. The ex-girlband member was signed to Warner Music Group as a solo artist shortly after the band split in 2022.
But following reports she "failed to impress" Warner with her solo music, who then "wouldn't pay for a music video", it appears Leigh-Anne is now working with Virgin Music Group, who say they are the world's leading partner to independent artists.
In an Instagram clip teasing her new music, Leigh-Anne wrote: "Control looks good on me" as Virgin posted in the comments with a string of heart emojis. Leigh-Anne replied back: "Let's go." READ MORE: Leigh-Anne Pinnock makes huge decision as she's 'exhausted from holding everything together'

Telling her 9.9 million followers that "something beautiful is on the way", the mum-of-two - who shares twin girls with her footballer husband Andre Gray - also shared a selfie to her Instagram stories as she posed with a drink in the sunshine and captioned it: "Cheers to a Leigh-Anne summer." In another smiling selfie she said it was "what freedom looks like".
In her newest grid post, the singer shared more behind-the-scenes photos working on her new album and told fans: "Thinking about how much I can't wait to release this now - we're so fricken [sic] close."
Giving fans an update in a voice note to fans on the Discord platform, the Daily Mail reported her as saying: "Seriously guys I've been wanting to tell so much what was happening, but yeah obviously the process of changing over has been... yeah that's what has obviously taken time. But yeah obviously we are here - need you guys to stay with me, it is coming. But I just wanted you guys to know it is going to be a Leigh-Anne summer and y'all better get ready."

In March last year the Mirror revealed Warner Records had refused to fork out for a video shoot to accompany her track Stealin Love - after her previous solo singles Don't Say Love and My Love got only a lukewarm response.
Insiders claimed the singer had to put some of her own money into her solo career after failing to get the funds she needed. One said: "There was so much excitement around Leigh-Anne's solo career, but that seemed to wane after the first two tracks."
They added: "Warner heavily backed Don't Say Love for her debut but were disappointed with how it charted. The same was true with My Love. There's no doubt that Leigh-Anne is a huge talent and solo success can take time to build.
"But lately she's struggled to get the financial backing she hoped for – to the extent that she has even contributed herself to the campaign. And now her latest track, Stealin Love, is being released with no video."
The Sun reported Leigh-Anne's debut album is "as good as complete now" and reported a source as saying: "Now it's all about planning for the year ahead. She is hugely proud of the music she's put out already, but she has taken a new direction when it comes to this record. Her debut single, Don't Say Love, is unlikely to make it on to the tracklist." 'Worst show on TV' is ending and its biggest critics are full of regret

And Just Like That… Sex and The City fans will no longer be tormented by its divisive revival. Creator Michael Patrick King has confirmed that And Just Like That, which has regularly been branded 'the worst show on TV',is coming to an end after its third and current season. In a statement shared on Instagram, King wrote: 'And just like that… the ongoing storytelling of the Sex and the City universe is coming to an end. 'While I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That… season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop. 'Along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys and Sarah Aubrey, we decided to end the popular series this year with a two-part finale and extended the original series order from 10 episodes to 12. 'SJP and I held off announcing the news until now because we didn't want the word 'final' to overshadow the fun of watching the season. 'It's with great gratitude we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years.' Despite the relentless backlash and calls for it to be over, viewers who have spent three seasons 'hate-watching' are still absolutely crushed. And Just Like That hater Tom Zohar wrote on X: 'PLEASE I DIDN'T MEAN ALL THE THINGS I SAID ABOUT YOU I LOVE YOU PLEASE DON'T LEAVE.' Another fan who loved to hate-watch, Felipe, tweeted: 'conflicted because the show is objectively terrible but i'd still watch 10 seasons of it.' Pop Culture Instagram account Deuxmoi commented: 'See what happens when you complain!!!!!' Others said they 'felt sick' and were 'devastated' but there was also a large sector of the And Just Like That audience who breathed a sigh of relief. Sex and The City was an instant movement when it launched in 1998, making Carrie Bradshaw (Parker), Miranda Hobbes, (Cynthia Nixon), Charlotte Yorke (Kristin Davis) and Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) four of the most loved women of the decade. Their influence has hardly faltered almost 30 years later. In 2021 the girls were back – well, without Samantha due to Cattrall's fall out with the rest of the cast – in And Just Like That, the reboot so many longed for but never thought would happen. The excitement was unrivalled but soon fizzled out when Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte were criticised for being unrecognisable to the women fans adored and watching Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez) felt like a punishment when we'd all been so patient. The latest series was praised for getting back on track but it also came with bizarre misfires. In one episode, Lisa Todd Wexley's (Nicole Ari Parker) dad died from a stroke. Fans noted that she claimed he'd already died back in season one. Producers did explain the issue, insisting the father mentioned in season one was her stepfather but fans weren't satisfied with the response. Parker shared a series of iconic Carrie moments and said the columnist with the wardrobe worth millions 'dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all.' Davis, who starred as Charlotte for 27 years, wrote: 'I am profoundly sad. I love our whole beautiful cast and crew. 400 artisans working so hard on our show with deep love. 'And to our loyal fans, we love you forever and ever.' And Just Like That is available to stream on NOW. Got a story? Lindsay Lohan's Press Tour Is A Love Letter To Her Early Roles

If your early 2000s DVD collection included The Devil Wears Prada , Bend It Like Beckham and My Best Friend's Wedding , you'll be pleased to know they're all in various stages of reboot. Now, the long awaited Freaky Friday sequel ( Freakier Friday ) is officially joining the lineup - and Lindsay Lohan is already bringing the throwbacks. ©Lindsay Lohan Freaky Friday UK Premiere, Getty Images While doing UK press for the film on July 31, Lohan hit the red carpet in a custom Ludovic de Saint Sernin gown that instantly caught the eye of loyal fans. The dress - a sheer lavender metal mesh design covered in golden Swarovski crystals was a reimagining of the one she wore in Freaky Friday's final wedding scene, originally designed by Mandalay. Whilst the riff off was covered in gems, the original featured a delicate lace trimmed camisole top and matching bias-cut skirt. Ludovic de Saint Sernin took to Instagram to say, 'I can't believe I'm actually writing this caption right now. I've been dreaming and manifesting this moment for nearly 20 years. And the best part of it all is that I got to see it with my own eyes! What an incredible privilege to be a creative and to have the opportunity to make your teenage dreams come true. I feel overwhelmed with joy and love right now. It's a full-circle moment for me.' The archival nod didn't stop at the dress. Lohan carried a miniature guitar-shaped bag by Judith Leiber, a playful wink to her character Anna's band girl past. Where the original character wore hers on a strap, Lohan clutched this one like a clutch, turning teenage angst into red carpet moment. She finished the look with simple Manolo Blahnik heels which gave the look a more grown up feel. The Mean Girls star has been on a full nostalgia streak lately. Earlier this week, she paid tribute to another one of her iconic roles - this time from her film debut, The Parent Trap . Appearing on Good Morning America on July 28, Lohan wore a butter yellow two piece set from Balmain's pre-spring 2026 collection by Olivier Rousteing. The look featured a cropped tweed jacket in a white and black plaid and a matching mini skirt. It's safe to say Lindsay Lohan's press tour is a love letter to her early roles. Freakier Friday will be out in cinemas on the August 8th. [ Renee Washington ]{href=' } , Grazia's digital fashion and beauty writer, lives online.
