It's already time for the 2025 WWE Money in the Bank PLE, and it has a stacked four-bout card with two ladder matches — who will earn themselves a world championship match?

Plus, a year after announcing his retirement tour at the 2024 Money in the Bank event, WWE Champion John Cena will compete at his final iteration of the annual PLE. He will team with Logan Paul to face World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso and a returning Cody Rhodes.
Aside from the two namesake ladder matches, there is a Women's Intercontinental Championship and high-profile tag team bout. Triple H loves a four-match card, and that's what fans are getting with Money in the Bank.

Below is the full match card for the 2025 WWE Money in the Bank PLE. Note: the order of the matches has not been confirmed as of the time of this writing. Predicted winners are bolded.

Can John Cena and Logan Paul co-exist?

The match: Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso vs. John Cena and Logan Paul
Instead of having John Cena defend the WWE Championship in what could be his last match in Los Angeles, WWE has him teaming with Logan Paul against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.
It feels like a waste of Cena in his last run as an in-ring performer, but alas. Even if Travis Scott or The Rock interfere, I don't foresee the babyface team losing.
Rhodes needs a rematch against Cena to get his revenge, and that can start with him pinning the champ. Expect Rhodes and Uso to win, setting the former up for a rematch at SummerSlam in August 2025.

Cena's 17th world championship has been fumbled. It should have been a moment celebrated by all WWE fans. Instead, it's been a dud in a storyline that was obviously constructed on the fly.
Final prediction: Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso defeat John Cena and Logan Paul.
Will it be 'Mami in the Bank'?
The match: Women's Money in the Bank ladder match: Alexa Bliss vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Rhea. Ripley vs. Giulia vs. Naomi vs. Stephanie Vaquer
Given WWE's recent moves, like cutting R-Truth and Carlito from their roster as part of cost-saving efforts, you'd think the marketability of Rhea Ripely winning Money in the Bank would be too great to pass up.

There certainly is a chance Ripley could win, but it'd cause a stir online. I think Ripley will come really close, but someone, whether it be Iyo Sky or someone else, will interfere and cost her the match.
Giving it to a young star like Roxanne Perez or Stephanie Vaquer is another solid option. The briefcase could launch them to the main event as they did with Tiffany Stratton.
However, I think Naomi is who WWE will go with. She is having the run of her career at the moment, and why not add fuel to the fire? She could steal the Women's Championship from Stratton with a cash in and head into a match against Jade Cargill and/or Bianca Belair as champ at SummerSlam.
Final prediction: Naomi wins the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match.
Third time's the charm for LA Knight?

For the third year in a row, LA Knight will compete in a Money in the Bank ladder match. Despite not winning either of the last two, he has remained perpetually over.
It would be nice if WWE rewarded Knight for his efforts with a win. He's probably not the favorite, as Seth Rollins has a faction behind him that could interfere, but I think Knight will finally pull it off.
Either Roman Reigns or CM Punk will cost Rollins the match. Heck, I could see both of them getting involved, as Reigns has unfinished business with both Superstars.
While another Rollins run with the briefcase would be interesting, Knight has earned a chance to shine. Rollins will probably beat Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship at some point, but it won't be via the Money in the Bank briefcase.

As for the rest of the field, Andrade hasn't been important in months, ditto for Solo Sikoa since he lost to Reigns at the WWE Monday Night RAW on Netflix premiere on January 6, 2025. El Grande Americano would be unexpected, but there's no shot WWE pushes Chad Gable like that.
Final prediction: LA Knight wins the Men's Money in the Bank ladder match.
Becky Lynch, Women's Intercontinental Champion?

The match: Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Becky Lynch for the Women's Intercontinental Championship
At one time, it seemed like a foregone conclusion that Becky Lynch would beat Lyra Valkyria for the Women's Intercontinental Championship. Their Money in the Bank showdown being a 'Last Chance' match — which means Lynch can no longer challenge for it for as long as Valkyria is champion if she loses — takes some intrigue out of it.

I still think Lynch will inevitably win the belt someday, but not yet. Her winning would help build Valkyria as a babyface in pursuit of regaining her championship.
But we're still awaiting the return of Bayley, who Lynch took out to be Valkyria's tag team partner at WrestleMania 41. Unless WWE has no plans for Bayley at any point soon, she will probably attack Lynch, setting up a triple threat match between them at SummerSlam or the next Saudi Arabia show.
Final prediction: Lyra Valkyria retains the Women's Intercontinental Championship.

In this weekly series, we identify three Superstars (or groups of Superstars) who are on their way up, and three that are moving in the opposite direction. After a busy week that included Money in the Bank 2025, a lot of fortunes were changed. Advertisement With that in mind, let's see whose stock decreased the most this week: Stock Down #3: LA Knight The megastar cut a promo on SmackDown talking about how he's already lost two previous Money in the Bank ladder matches, but the third time's a charm. Unfortunately for Knight, he was completely destroyed by Seth Rollins' crew a short while later and then became a three time Money in the Bank loser the very next night in Los Angeles. It appears that LA has reached his ceiling in WWE, which puts him in a pretty good spot overall, but one that will likely never take him to a world championship. Stock Down #2: Aleister Black Aleister was also wiped out on SmackDown as part of the Paul Heyman Guys running amok on the blue brand. He was tossed out of the ring like a jabroni after they beat him up, and probably won't get a chance at revenge since they are on different brands. Booking like this contributes to Aleister losing more of that special aura that stars initially have when they debut hot or return after a long time away. Stock Down #1: War Raiders Erik and Ivar lost a tag team match on Raw against The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, seemingly knocking the former Vikings even further away from world tag team championship gold after they've already failed multiple times to regain the belts from New Day. To make things even worse, Erik's wife Sarah Logan aka Valhalla revealed that WWE is not renewing her contract with the company. Advertisement Now let's see whose stock increased the most this week: Stock Up #3: Naomi Naomi hasn't won singles gold in WWE since 2017, but that's probably going to change sometime during the next year because she now has the women's Money in the Bank contract. Naomi's new 'proceed with caution' attitude means she is a good bet to find the perfect time to cash in that contract to win a world title, just like all the women before her have successfully done. Stock Up #2: Ron Killings / R-Truth The live fans on Raw and SmackDown chanted 'We Want Truth!' following the news that R-Truth was exiting the company after WWE chose to not renew his contract. WWE listened to the people and gave them what they want this time, because Truth came back to screw over John Cena in the main event of Money in the Bank. He's now officially back in WWE as Ron Killings, and you can even buy his new shirt. How about that? Stock Up #1: Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Paul Heyman Rollins walked into Money in the Bank as the way-too-obvious favorite to win the men's ladder match, and he proved to be correct when nobody was able to stop him from climbing the ladder and securing the briefcase. The Two Bron Power Trip really came through big for Seth this week in terms of kicking ass on Raw, SmackDown, and Money in the Bank, and really gave weight to Seth's threat about holding all the power in WWE coming out of this weekend. It capped off what was a turbulent week surrounding the veteran star after he said on June 1 his contract was ending after 17 years with WWE. Levesque smirked and gave a blunt answer. "I love the question. Enjoying the show?" Levesque said. "All part of the show man." While not much said, Levesque's comment heavily implied all of it led to stunning moment at Money in the Bank. Perhaps R-Truth's announcement was fake and was meant to draw heat. Fans were upset and wanting him back, so when he did come back, the crowd would go wild and feel pleased. Why R-Truth's contract expiration, return was likely real Levesque's comment drew plenty of criticism online, with fans claiming he was trying to cover himself and the company from the decision to let R-Truth's contract expire, leading to why there's strong belief all of it was real. Several WWE stars voiced their sadness with R-Truth's departure after the announcement, from Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, The Miz and Kevin Owens. Ripley even posted a picture of her wearing one of his shirts during Raw. The reaction from stars also indicated how stunned yet pleased with R-Truth's comeback. Commentator Cathy Kelly was emotional when discussing it on the post show, and Cody Rhodes said the fans let it be known he had to come back "You guys wanted R-Truth, and it's always our job, everybody here, Triple H, Nick Khan, to give you what you want, so thank you guys for letting us know," he said. Plus, the man himself let it be known how the fan response led to his return. On social media, R-Truth said "no work" in response to someone claiming fans got fooled, and in another comment, mentioned how much fans helped bring him back. Several reports also indicate none of it was fake. Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reported people within the company didn't believe it was a work, and reported a deal between R-Truth and WWE came together within 72 hours prior to Money in the Bank. Ross also added R-Truth ignored WWE's attempts throughout the week to reconnect, and WWE president Nick Khan was instrumental in getting a new deal done. R-Truth's son, Christopher Killings, posted on Instagram "congrats on the new deal dad." The complete truth likely won't be revealed for some time, but it appears WWE realized the mistake it made in not coming up with a new contract for someone beloved by fans and fellow wrestlers. The company heard its fans. The outrage that ensued made the company realize how much of an asset he was, and now the 53-year-old is back for potentially one grand last run in WWE. It may be a new version of R-Truth appearing as well. The attack on Cena was far from the comedic, outgoing person he had been known to be, and WWE Shop addressed him on social media as his real name, Ron Killings. Logan Paul's jaw-dropping springboard moonsault wow fans at WWE Money in the Bank
Logan Paul has continuously performed highlight reel-worthy moves in the WWE ring since he became a member of the company a few years ago. Saturday night's Money in the Bank may have taken the cake. Paul teamed up with John Cena to take on Cody Rhodes and world heavyweight champion Jey Uso in the latest chapter of Cena's farewell tour. Cena interrupted Paul's title match at "Saturday Night's Main Event" last month, leading to the return of Rhodes. In the last few weeks, the four men have taken sides, and it culminated into a match. He hit a few of his signature moves during the match – a frog splash here, a Paul-verizer there. But fans jumped out of their seats when he and Uso fought outside the ring. Paul put Uso on top of one of the announcer tables. He then went to the apron and looked back to check Uso a couple of times before he hopped onto the middle rope and did a moonsault to crash onto Uso. The two pro wrestlers went through the table together in what may have been the moment of the night. Unfortunately for the Paul-Cena team, the match didn't go into their favor. As the referee checked on both Paul and Uso, Cena hit Rhodes with the Undisputed WWE Championship belt. Then R-Truth made a shocking appearance to cost Cena the match. Rhodes hit Cena with the Cross Rhodes and pinned him for the win. But Paul's move caught the eye of WWE fans. Jake Paul even weighed in with his take. "My brother is the best wrestler in the WWE," the boxer wrote on X. It's unclear what's next for Logan Paul. Cena, leaning into his heel character, dubbed Paul the future face of WWE.
