Students watch porn on screen in Rajgarh school, probe ordered

Time of Indiaa day ago
Bhopal: Students at PM Shri School in Suthalia, Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, allegedly played a pornographic clip on a classroom LED screen during school hours, and a video of the act went viral.
The principal of the school told TOI that the video dates to the last academic session when he was not posted there.
The viral footage shows around 13 students sitting on chairs watching the clip, while some recorded it on their mobile phones. No teacher or school staff member was present in the room at the time.
District education officer (DEO) Karan Singh Bhilala ordered an inquiry by the Biaora block education officer and appointed a three-member fact-finding team.
The panel, comprising the principals of Jirapur Utkrishta Vidyalaya and Telan PM Shri Vidyalaya, along with the Narsinghgarh block education officer, has been directed to submit its report within three days.
Bhillala assured that the LED screens in classrooms are meant for educational purposes, and any misuse will be dealt with strictly.
Responding to a section of media, Rajgarh child welfare committee (CWC) chairman Saket Sharma described the incident as "deeply unfortunate" and said it points to "serious gaps in monitoring and discipline."

The CWC has issued notices to the principal and DEO, seeking explanations before deciding on further action. "Schools must ensure that digital resources are properly supervised to prevent such misuse," Sharma said.
Principal Hemant Yadav, who took charge in May this year, claimed the incident occurred months before he joined. He alleged that a local youth, identified as Brijmohan Suryavanshi, tried to blackmail him for Rs 50,000 by threatening to make public the clip.
"When I refused to pay, the video was circulated on social media," Yadav said, adding that he is considering legal action.
Following the video's circulation, several parents and community members gathered at the school demanding accountability. They urged the education department to introduce stricter classroom monitoring, especially when digital equipment is in use. Local organisations have also called for counselling for the students involved, along with disciplinary action, to prevent recurrence.

316 whisky bottles found in AC duct of ‘dry' Bihar-bound train

1 2 Lucknow: Passengers on board Lucknow Junction–Barauni Express (Train No. 15204) complained about low cooling in an AC-2 tier coach when the train was passing through Uttar Pradesh. However, they were taken by surprise when the railway technician opened the AC duct only to discover that it was stuffed with 316 whisky bottles. The stash included 256 bottles of Officer's Choice and 60 bottles of After Dark Blue whisky, each 180 ml, totalling nearly 57 litres of liquor. The incident took place on Tuesday and its video went viral. A coach attendant was arrested for allegedly trying to smuggle the liquor bottles to Bihar which is a dry state. The consignment was found in the duct in the sixth row of the A2 coach. Bottles wrapped in paper sheets were obstructing the airflow above berths 32 and 34. The onboard GRP team from Basti, which had taken charge of the train at Burhwal Junction, was alerted. When the train reached Basti station, a joint team of GRP and RPF personnel seized the consignment. Passengers captured the moment on video, with one officer heard exclaiming, "Yeh dekhiye khazana! (Look at this treasure!)". by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like The 5 Books Warren Buffett Recommends You To Read in 2025 Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo Basti GRP SHO, Pankaj Kumar Yadav, confirmed the arrest of coach attendant Ashish Kumar, who hails from Khagaria in Bihar. Ashish admitted to regularly smuggling liquor from Uttar Pradesh to Bihar, where prohibition laws have created a thriving black market. He said he concealed the bottles in the AC duct to avoid detection and sold them at double the price. Ashish has been booked under Section 60 of the Excise Act and sent to jail. Interestingly, Ashish's duty was in a different coach, but to guard his illegal whisky consignment, he had moved to AC-2 coach, while the actual coach (identity withheld by TOI) attendant was on leave. MP teen dies by suicide after losing money in online game

Bhopal: A 17-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a train on Tuesday evening apparently upset over losing Rs 35,000 in an online game, police said. Body of Vikas Rawat of Gwalior district of MP was discovered in a mutilated state on the railway tracks near the goods warehouse in Dabra yard. Prior to the incident, Vikas had parked his motorcycle on the down main line. Police stated that he had spoken to his family by phone shortly before the incident, informing them that he would return home, but he never did. Initially considered a routine suicide case, the investigation on Wednesday uncovered that the teenager had incurred significant losses in an online game. The specific game has not yet been identified. Authorities have seized his mobile phone for forensic examination. Vikas, whose father is a farmer, had completed his Class 12 exams this year, according to police. Vikas was the only son, with two sisters. His cousin operates an online kiosk in the village where Vikas frequently spent time, leading to his developing a gaming addiction, police reported to local media. On Sunday, he borrowed Rs 30,000 from a villager, believed to be part of the amount he lost online. Investigations are on.
