Mannara Chopra Is ‘Getting There' As She Copes With Father's Death: 'Mom Said...'
Mannara Chopra's father, Raman Rai Handa passed away in Mumbai on June 16 at the age of 72.
Actress Mannara Chopra is healing from the loss of her father, Raman Rai Handa. On Thursday, the Bigg Boss fame took to her Instagram stories and shared selfies from the car. In the pictures, Mannara was seen smiling as she looked into the camera.
However, what caught everyone's attention was the caption on Mannara's Instagram stories. 'Took a moment to dress up today after many quiet days… Mom said I should look fresh. I'm getting there," she wrote.
In another story, Mannara revealed that she even drove and added, 'Even drove today. Because driving reminds me-I'm still navigating life."
Mannara Chopra's father, Raman Rai, passed away on June 16, 2025. He was 72. The actress shared the news of her father's passing via an Instagram Story. Her post read, 'With profound grief and sorrow we inform the sad demise of our loving father who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/06/2025. He was the pillar of strength for our family." His last rites were held on June 18, in Mumbai. Later, a prayer meeting was also held in Delhi.
Earlier this month, Mannara expressed gratitude towards all who supported her during this difficult time and revealed that she has resumed working.
'Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support you've shown to me and my family during these tough times. Resuming work now, with gratitude in my heart," her statement read.
Mannara Chopra made her Bollywood debut with Zid. However, she became a household name after she participated in Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 17, where she emerged as the second runner-up.
Most recently, Mannara Chopra was seen in the reality show Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment Season 2. She was seen in the show with several other stars including Elvish Yadav, Rubina Dilaik, Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Vicky Jain, Ankita Lokhande, and Abhishek Kumar.
