Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's new Netflix projects revealed as they issue statement
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced a new "multi-year, first look" deal with Netflix, after weeks of speculation over their future with the streaming giant.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they would be continuing their "creative partnership" with Netflix, and detailed a selection of the projects that fans can look forward to.
Season 2 of With Love, Meghan is set to premiere later this month, as Meghan returns to screens with a "fun and heartwarming new season of her lifestyle show, welcoming celebrity chefs, talented artists, and beloved friends for hands-on adventures filled with laughter and discovery".
"From playful cooking challenges to DIY projects, Meghan and her guests will explore bold flavours, experiment with new techniques, and discover simple ways to add beauty to everyday life."
Fans of Meghan's lifestyle show are also in for a treat later this year, as a special holiday episode of the show, titled With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration, will be released to celebrate the festive season.
Viewers will join Meghan in Montecito for a "magical holiday celebration, as she joins with friends and family to deck the halls, create holiday feasts, craft heartfelt gifts, and share lots of laughs – with simple how-tos to follow at home".
Harry and Meghan's company Archewell Productions will also present a new, documentary-short film called Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within – about orphaned children in Uganda's Masaka region, where the 'shadows of the HIV/Aids crisis linger'.
Netflix said: 'Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within goes beyond the viral videos to reveal a vibrant, one-of-a-kind community where orphaned children transform hardship into joy, dancing their way toward healing, belonging and the promise of a brighter future.'
Archewell Productions is also in active development on additional projects with Netflix that span a variety of content genres, including the feature adaptation of the bestselling novel by Carley Fortune, Meet Me At The Lake: a romantic drama that follows a decade-spanning love story that begins with a chance encounter and a broken promise.
In addition to the film and TV projects that will come with their Netflix partnership continuing, Meghan's lifestyle brand As Ever will also be expanding into product categories, with Netflix being a supportive partner of the growing brand.
The couple announced they have extended their partnership with Netflix on Monday, as Meghan said: 'We're proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As ever brand. My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision.'
Five years ago, Harry and Meghan secured a lucrative contract, thought to be worth more than 100 million dollars (£74 million), with Netflix after quitting as senior working royals in 2020.
During their first deal, the Sussexes produced content across documentaries, scripted series, films, sports and lifestyle programming, with series such as Polo, With Love, Meghan, Heart of Invictus, Harry & Meghan and Live to Lead.
Harry & Meghan debuted on Netflix in December of 2022 with a total of 23.4 million views, making it the most viewed documentary ever through its first four days, and reached the English Top 10 TV list in 85 countries.
The show is Netflix's fifth most popular documentary series. With Love, Meghan debuted in the Global Top 10 TV list and reached the top 10 in 24 countries. The show had 5.3 million views in the first half of 2025, making it Netflix's most watched culinary show since its release.

Jodie Whittaker is far too good for this contrived Aussie thriller
You'd be forgiven for thinking you've seen something like this before, as the Australia-set thrillers have been coming to our screens thick and fast recently (see also The Last Anniversary, The Secrets She Keeps, Apples Never Fall). This one, which had a brief showing on Paramount+ in 2023 but is now on ITV1, stars former Doctor Who lead Jodie Whittaker. Sadly it's so lacklustre that Whittaker might wish that she'd opted to eat kangaroo genitalia on I'm a Celebrity with Ant and Dec instead. Since hanging up her sonic screwdriver, Whittaker has spread her wings in eclectic roles. She played an imprisoned single mother in gut-punch BBC drama Time and was the standout star of Netflix's factual drama Toxic Town. Here she loses her native Yorkshire tones to adopt an Australian accent. I'm no expert in Antipodean linguistics, but she does a decent job. Set on the stunning New South Wales coast, One Night follows three women – Tess (Whittaker), Simone (Nicole da Silva) and Hat (Yael Stone) – who remain haunted by a harrowing event during their teens. Twenty years later, Simone writes a thinly disguised novel about that fateful night. It reopens wounds in cathartic ways. There's the germ of an interesting drama here about trauma and truth, justice and healing. But whenever it looks about to emerge, it gets bogged down in repetitive flashbacks or clichéd contrivances. Supporting characters are uniformly ghastly – either leering small-town gangsters, spoilt kids or self-serving adults. Worst of all, there's a fatal flaw at the heart of the story. Simone stole Tess's tragedy for her own gain, yet we're supposed to sympathise as she makes her friend's pain all about her. Stretched out over six episodes, One Night moves with all the urgency of an asthmatic koala. With its ocean views and high-flying female friends, it's a try-hard Sydney spin on Big Little Lies. Whittaker is rawly convincing as a sexual assault victim whose repressed memories come bubbling to the surface. Tess is a mass of body issues: bulimic, covered in tattoos, prone to pulling her hair out. There's a wordless scene in the finale where Whittaker acts her socks off with facial expressions alone. It's just a shame the script isn't in the same league as her performance. One Night is available now on ITVX and begins on ITV1 on Saturday 16 August at 9.30pm

Netflix viewers left with 'jaw on floor' over 'outrageous' new documentary
The new documentary is now available to stream on Netflix Fit for TV: The Reality of the Biggest Loser -Netflix trailer Netflix viewers have branded a new documentary as "outrageous" as they have been left with their "jaw on the floor". August 15 saw a brand new docuseries land on Netflix, Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser, which takes an inside look at the making of the hit competition. The show ran for 18 seasons beginning in 2004 and finishing in 2016, and there was a revival attempt back in 2020. But this three-part series features exclusive interviews with the creators, producers, past contestants and trainers like Bob Harper who were involved in making the show. And fans are hooked as they brand the documentary as "outrageous" and is a must see. One star, who appeared in season 8, Tracey Yukich spoke about her experience on the documentary as she said it was life-changing. During one particular extreme challenge set up by the show's producers, she says she had a near death experience. Taking to TikTok one user branded the documentary as "outrageous" as they added: "Throughout the entire series my jaw was on the floor, I was in a red hot rage." One person commented: "It's really horrific. I actually loved watching the Australian version at the time. How things have changed! Why didn't I see it then?" Another replied: "OMG I literally just finished binge watching this! Awful." In another video, one person said they were left in tears as another replied: "Glad I'm not the only one who just broke into tears." Over on X, one person wrote: "Netflix has been in their bag with these documentaries. This Biggest Loser Doc is crazy." Another said: "Anybody watch that Netflix doc about the Biggest Loser yet? Wow that was one of the saddest things I've seen in a while." A third added: "this biggest loser doc is no joke. I love it. Netflix." Exploring the good, the bad, and the complicated, the series examines the show's approach to transformation and the support systems in place as well as how the experience shaped the lives of those involved on the show after the cameras had stopped filming. A Netflix synopsis reads: "Contenders on "The Biggest Loser" wanted the body of their dreams. Instead, many fell into a televised nightmare. Now, they tell their side of the story."
