According to the evaluation, the criteria in which Amplitude received the highest marks included its roadmap, the agentic AI release, and its vision to unify the buying and product experience. Forrester also highlighted Amplitude's digital product analytics capabilities and its commitment to product enhancements.
Report details
The Forrester Wave assessment groups its evaluation into two principal areas: Strength of Offering and Strength of Strategy. In addition, vendors are rated based on Customer Feedback. The report defines digital analytics solutions as "solutions that collect, analyse, visualise, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data from digital channels, like web and mobile applications, to help organisations identify how to improve various aspects of the digital experience, such as product usage, experience design, the effectiveness of digital marketing channels, or digital experience performance."
Within its findings, Forrester described Amplitude as "ideal for product-led organisations where product and marketing teams need close alignment and ease of use is a priority." The report also stated, "Amplitude's vision is to unify the 'buying' and 'product' experience." Amplitude received the highest possible scores in criteria covering its roadmap, AI for insights generation, and AI for assistance.
Customer focus
Amplitude's role as a Customer Favourite was recognised due to positive feedback on areas such as the platform's ease of use, the speed of its query engine, seamless product integration, and cost to value. The report noted, "Customers praise Amplitude's collaborative, partner-like approach. They also praise the platform's ease of use, query engine speed, seamless product integration, and favorable cost to value."
Organisations such as Square, Strava, Cox Automotive, Le Monde, NTT Docomo, and A&E Networks use Amplitude to analyse how users interact with their products. This includes data on user retention, feature usage, drop-off points, and strategies for improving the customer experience throughout the digital journey. "Think of Amplitude as a direct line to your audience," said Dani Mednikoff, Director, Digital Analytics & Strategy at A+E Networks. "Even though you're not chatting face-to-face, you can use the data you gather to understand what hooks your audience and what makes it stick around. It's about the stories the numbers tell us, imbuing the data with meaning. What are people watching? Where and how are they watching it? Figuring this out helped us make spot-on decisions for our viewers and tailor our content to fit them."
Amplitude has also earned 5/5 scores across criteria including roadmap, real-time and predictive analysis, AI for insights, AI for assistance, and analysis for digital product performance. Forrester's evaluation recognised that "It excels in digital product analytics, with standout analyses like engagement matrix, persona, and conversion driver analyses."
Technological capabilities
The Forrester Wave report identifies Amplitude as the only vendor assessed with a dedicated storytelling tool, which helps users translate insights into actions more quickly. Further, the system features bidirectional integration with data warehouses, enabling direct analysis using data warehouse tables in Amplitude.
Francois Ajenstat, Chief Product Officer at Amplitude, commented, "Amplitude is redefining how organisations use data to build exceptional product and digital experiences. Our advancements in AI have become a force multiplier, and with the introduction of AI Agents, we're helping teams move faster from insight to action in minutes. Siemens named PLM leader for discrete manufacturing by Forrester

Siemens has been recognised as a leader in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for discrete manufacturers in a report published by independent research firm Forrester Research. The report, The Forrester Wave: Product Lifecycle Management for Discrete Manufacturers, Q3 2025, assessed eight PLM vendors, focusing on aspects relevant to discrete manufacturing sectors. Siemens' Teamcenter software received the top possible scores in 11 distinct criteria and achieved the highest score in the Strategy category among all vendors evaluated. The evaluation outlined how Siemens distinguished itself across key PLM capabilities. Siemens' Teamcenter was flagged as a customer favourite in the report, a recognition derived from the positive feedback shared by reference customers. Reference customers unanimously endorse Siemens' continuity of support, security, clear communication, customer service, and issue resolution, and all indicated they would purchase from Siemens again. The report further highlighted Siemens' approach to the evolving needs of manufacturing, reflecting on the company's strategic direction. Siemens reinforces its vision for transforming the PLM foundation of smart manufacturing with a pragmatic, transparent roadmap, and Siemens' commitment to innovation pays off with many above-par capabilities. Siemens earned the highest available scores in several evaluation categories. These included interoperability with design tools, digital thread, embedded software, bill of process, materials or sourcing library integration, support for small batch manufacturing, innovation, roadmap, partner ecosystem, pricing flexibility and transparency, and support for sales and marketing use cases. Frances Evans, Senior Vice President, Lifecycle Collaboration Software, Siemens Digital Industries Software, commented on Siemens' recognition in the Forrester report. Evans said, "We're honoured to be recognised by Forrester as a Leader in PLM for discrete manufacturing. To us, this recognition reflects our strategy to deliver modern, flexible PLM solutions through the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, and we're especially proud to see Teamcenter acknowledged as a customer favourite." Teamcenter is described as a comprehensive PLM platform designed to help organisations manage complexity in product development and accelerate time to market. Teamcenter X, the cloud-based iteration of the solution delivered as a service, aims to provide this functionality with built-in best practices and with a lower total cost of ownership. Both Teamcenter and Teamcenter X form parts of the wider Siemens Xcelerator portfolio. The Forrester Wave evaluation is seen within the sector as a measure of strategy and execution among PLM solution providers. Siemens' performance in the 2025 report will be relevant to manufacturing and engineering organisations considering updates or changes to their PLM deployments. Follow us on: Share on:

Endpoint Central users save $4.5 million with 442% ROI in study

ManageEngine has released the findings of a Total Economic Impact study, conducted independently by Forrester, evaluating the financial and operational impact of its Endpoint Central unified endpoint management and security platform over a three-year period. Return on investment The research showed that organisations using Endpoint Central realised a return on investment of 442% within three years, with a payback period of less than six months. According to the study, customers obtained $4.5 million in total benefits during the analysed timeframe, with a net present value of $3.7 million attributed to the platform's deployment. The Total Economic Impact study was based on interviews with four customers, supported by financial modelling to represent a composite organisation. "We've always aimed to deliver meaningful outcomes through Endpoint Central, and it's rewarding to see those results consistently reflected in our customers' experiences - and now quantified in this TEI study," said Mathivanan Venkatachalam, Vice President of ManageEngine. "Many of our customers have significantly reduced operational overhead and administrative burden by replacing multiple tools with Endpoint Central. That's exactly the kind of outcome Endpoint Central was built to deliver." Efficiency gains The study highlighted several operational efficiencies gained by adopting Endpoint Central. One area was the reduction in manual patching effort, with organisations achieving up to 95% less manual intervention due to automated patch management. This improvement produced productivity gains estimated at $913,000 over three years. The consolidation of legacy tools onto the Endpoint Central platform was found to yield savings exceeding $1 million across the three-year period reviewed. Further benefits included the implementation of secure self-service utilities and remote troubleshooting, which decreased help desk workloads and contributed to improved end-user productivity. ManageEngine's endpoint management system also enhanced visibility and control over hardware and software assets, and enabled more efficient reclamation of unused licences. The study noted that automation of endpoint analytics and reporting led to the elimination of manual report generation processes. Compliance and security improvements According to the Forrester study, Endpoint Central enabled IT teams to better support users across distributed geographies and hybrid work models, through its unified management capabilities. Organisations reported experiencing more stable endpoints and reductions in user downtime and service disruptions. Improvements in compliance and cyber security were also observed. An IT director from the software services sector quoted in the study stated, "Our compliance rate of devices went from 70% to more than 95% after using Endpoint Central. Devices are much more stable and easier to manage. We were even able to save cyber insurance costs due to this increased security posture." Consolidation and visibility Respondents indicated that the consolidation of endpoint management solutions via Endpoint Central contributed not only to cost savings but also to streamlined operations. Real-time visibility and administration of both software and hardware inventories were cited, as well as the benefit of eliminating unnecessary or redundant licences. The study also noted that automating management routines, such as patch deployment and report generation, allowed IT staff to focus more on strategic initiatives, rather than repetitive administrative tasks. Customers interviewed for the study commented on improvements to employee experience, with lower incident rates and faster support times following the adoption of unified management and remote troubleshooting features. The Total Economic Impact study, conducted by Forrester Consulting, was commissioned to analyse and quantify the value delivered to organisations by ManageEngine's Endpoint Central platform, based on real-world customer experiences and independently derived financial models.
