Demi Lovato's Emotional And Honest Single Mounts A Surprising Return
Demi Lovato is cooking up something big. The superstar singer took to social media recently to tease new music. Although it's not yet clear what form it will take, what it will sound like, or when fans will get to hear it, people seem genuinely excited for what she's calling her next 'era.' Those who love the singer's voice have returned to one of her most heartfelt tracks, turning it into a bestseller all over again in the United Kingdom more than half a decade after it was first released. This frame, 'Anyone' reenters a pair of charts across the Atlantic. The tune returns to the Official Singles Downloads list at No. 73. It also performs well enough to appear on the Official Singles Sales tally, where it comes in at No. 79. 'Anyone' originally debuted on both tallies in February 2020. At the time, the track launched at No. 20 on the two rankings, which still stands as its all-time peak. In the following frame, it dipped 60 spots, landing at No. 80, and then it vanished. The song hasn't been seen on either ranking since. Lovato premiered 'Anyone' at the Grammys on January 26, 2020. Just a few seconds into the performance, her voice cracked and she was forced to start over. While some artists might see that as a failure, it only made the showing more memorable. Her tear-inducing delivery ended up becoming one of the highlights of the evening. 'Anyone' marked Lovato's first new release and first live performance since a near-fatal drug overdose more than a year prior. She had been rushed to the hospital and nearly didn't survive in the summer of 2018. Lovato then took time away to focus on her sobriety and write new music. 'Anyone' was seen not just as a comeback, but an incredibly beautiful one, and it offered a level of openness few superstar musicians are willing to deliver. The song was later added to the tracklist of Lovato's full-length Dancing with the Devil… The Art of Starting Over. That collection, which dropped in April 2021, also featured several other singles, including 'What Other People Say,' 'Dancing with the Devil,' and 'Met Him Last Night' with Ariana Grande.

Britain's Got Talent winner makes eyebrow raising remark about Bruno Tonioli
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Britain's Got Talent's first-ever champion, opera singer Paul Potts, has opened up about his views on the current judging panel, which includes Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, and Bruno Tonioli. Reflecting on his victorious performance of Nessun Dorma back in 2007, which wowed judges Simon, Amanda, and then-judge Piers Morgan, Paul remarked that Simon and Amanda have remained "pretty much the same" over the years. "Simon and Amanda have been constants – Amanda's been there for every single series, and Simon only missed one. They're both very straightforward in how they do things," he said. READ MORE - BBC Naga Munchetty shares 'best sentence' to say to GP after her health battle READ MORE - Vogue Williams knew 'exact moment' her marriage turned to failure Although Alesha Dixon wasn't judging during his time on the show, Paul has had a couple of encounters with her since. He fondly recalled an incident where his wife and her sister serenaded him with Alesha's hit 'The Boy Does Nothing' in perfect harmony, a story he later shared with Alesha herself, who "In fact, my wife and her sister once sang 'The Boy Does Nothing' [Alesha's song] in perfect unison to me, and I told Alesha about it. She loved that." Paul also commented on the newest addition to the panel, Bruno Tonioli, known for his exuberant personality. "As for Bruno, sometimes he needs a bit of reining in, but he's getting into the flow of things," Paul observed, adding humorously, "I don't think he'll ever stop jumping up and down, though!" In partnership with Sky Vegas, the 54 year old expressed his belief that Bruno has comfortably "settled" into his role as a judge and seems set to "stick around for a while. "Overall, the panel is really good. You definitely need someone with energy, and he's certainly got that," he remarked. As it happened, this year saw Bruno and Simon step aside occasionally, paving the way for KSI to fill in due to other commitments, reports Belfast Live. Subsequently, there's been chatter about KSI securing a more permanent seat at the judges' table. Familiar with the ins and outs of the show, Paul hasn't dismissed the idea of himself taking on a judging role down the line. Reflecting on how he'd fare as a judge, he continued, "I wouldn't want to become the new 'bad guy' like Simon Cowell or anything like that. That's not my style. But when I've been on judging panels before, I've always been straightforward – never rude or abrupt." Stacey Leadbeatter triumphed in last week's public vote with her knockout performance of Demi Lovato's "Anyone", assuring her spot alongside semi-final week one winner Vinnie McKee, and golden buzzer acts Olly Pearson and The Blackouts. Tonight's third semi-final will see performances from gymnast Albert Amores, daredevil Bao, vocal groups Electric Umbrella and Jasmine Rice, soloist Mickey Callisto, dance duos Harry and Lewis, and Ping Pong Pang, capped by tunes from Rumac, all vying for a final slot. Looking towards the final, Paul has hinted that fan-admired Stacey might need to make wiser song choices moving forward. "I'm all for choosing songs that aren't as well-known, since we tend to overdo the same songs, but the arrangement either needed more energy or the song itself needed to be better," he expressed. "Demi Lovato is a huge artist, but the performance just didn't have enough energy to really stand out. With a performance like that, I don't think it'll be enough to win the show." He continued: "Singers often have a tougher time in the final because there's this perception that there are too many of them, and sometimes it's unfairly suggested that singing isn't a 'real' talent – which, of course, it absolutely is."

Supermarket worker Stacey, 29, advanced through to the grand final of the ITV talent show after winning the public vote during Saturday night's semi-final, on May 3. She impressed both the judges and audience with her take on Demi Lovato's Anyone. However despite her performance which won over many, some fans harshly argued there was other acts more deserving to be in the final. All the other contestants who you all supported are beyond amazing and all deserved a spot and are now my lifelong friends." Stacey continued, "But I can assure you that if they read some of the comments you're saying they would not agree with the hurtful things you're saying. But I'd like to add. I am strong! I am proud. I am on top of the world and nothing anyone says can bring me down off this little cloud I am on." "I am overwhelmed, I am ecstatic, I am excited, I am in awe. Most of all I am thankful and very very lucky," concluded the singer, who progressed to the live semi-finals after being awarded a golden buzzer by judge KSI.
