YSRCP to launch App for reporting ‘harassment and injustice by officials'
The YSRCP is preparing to launch a mobile application next week that is designed to document and report 'instances of harassment and injustice by the officials.' Disclosing this at the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) meeting on Tuesday, YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said the app would be useful to lodge complaints against the officials who 'harass or mistreat' people or party workers. 'People can submit detailed accounts of the incidents, along with any supporting evidence, such as photos or documents. They will be securely stored in a digital library server,' he said, adding, 'The moment our government comes to power, we will open this digital library and ensure that those responsible are held accountable under the law. Those responsible will be brought to justice with interest. No one will be spared.' Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy alleged that the NDA dispensation was engaged in 'deception and vengeance.' The Naidu-led government misused State machinery to target YSRCP leaders through false cases and arrests. The arrests of MP Midhun Reddy, Nandigam Suresh, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy and Kakani Govardhan Reddy were politically motivated, he alleged. Allegations against police 'A few police officials, including DIGs, DSPs, and CIs, are involved in organised crime, extortion, and illegal liquor auctions, with kickbacks allegedly flowing to the MLAs and even the Chief Minister's family,' Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy alleged. He called upon the leaders to shed complacency and take the lead in revitalising the party's organisational framework. 'Our honeymoon period is over. If we don't act now, we risk losing touch with the people,' he said, adding the party must prepare for elections at any time, and build a strong structure that would ensure YSRCP's continuity for the next 30 to 40 years. He directed that party committees be immediately set up at the village and booth levels. He highlighted the success of the party's campaign titled 'Recalling Chandrababu's Manifesto – Babu Surety, Fraud Guarantee'.

Jagan again warns TDP, police of ‘consequences'
YSRCP president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy sharply criticised the TDP-led coalition government for allegedly misusing police machinery and suppressing democratic opposition. Speaking at the YSRCP central office in Tadepalli on Wednesday, he warned that when YSRCP returns to power, TDP and 'errant' officials will face consequences for their actions. Reddy asserted that YSRCP is the only party standing with the people, addressing grievances of farmers, women, youth, students, and employees, while the state lacks constitutional governance and rule of law. He accused Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of betraying public trust with unfulfilled promises and using police powers to silence dissent. In support of his contention that YSRCP is standing by the people, he pointed to party's protest programmes, including the December 13, 2024, demonstration for crop insurance, the December 24 agitation against electricity tariff hikes, and the March 12 Yuva Poru protest against the cancellation of education schemes like Jagananna Vidya Deevena. Campaigns like 'Babu Surety, Mosam Guarantee' and 'Recalling Chandrababu's Manifesto' exposed TDP's failure to deliver welfare promises, he claimed. Jagan condemned filing of 'false' cases against senior police officers like P S R Anjaneyulu, Sunil Kumar, and Kanti Rana Tata, noting that over 80 inspectors and hundreds of constables remain suspended or sidelined, while pro-TDP officers are favoured. He cited IPS officer Siddharth Kaushal's resignation as evidence of pressure on honest officials. He also denounced the 'brutal' attack on Krishna ZP chairperson Uppala Harika by TDP workers during a 'Recalling Chandrababu's Manifesto' event in Gudivada. Despite police presence, no arrests were made, and a false case was filed against Harika's husband. Jagan Mohan Reddy criticised the government for targeting YSRCP leaders with false FIRs during visits to markets and condolence meetings, questioning why raising public issues is treated as a crime. He slammed the government for borrowing Rs 1.75 lakh crore in 14 months without implementing major welfare schemes like jobless youth allowance, LPG cylinders, Amma Vodi, pensions, or fee reimbursement.

Vizianagaram: Botcha Satyanarayana, Opposition leader in Legislative Council, launched a strong attack on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and the coalition government, branding them as 'masters of deception', who failed to fulfill electoral promises. Speaking at the constituency-level meeting held here on Sunday, Botcha blamed that Chandrababu Naidu has repeatedly deceived public by not implementing even a single promise from the party's election manifesto. 'As the main opposition, it is now our responsibility to go to the people and fight to ensure that those promises are fulfilled,' he added.
