Jo Malone's new ‘uplifting and classy' perfume is an Italian holiday in a bottle

After departing her namesake brand in 2006, Jo Malone launched Jo Loves, a new fragrance brand that specialises in niche perfumes. The latest fragrance to hit the Jo Loves shelves is an ode to summer, and guaranteed to make you feel like you're soaking up the sun even if you have no plans on leaving the UK. The brand new Jo Loves With Love from Como A Fragrance has finally landed on the shelves, and was inspired by Jo's memories of summers on Italy's Lake Como. A 'celebration of dolce vita', the new perfume invokes feelings of breezy days, sparkling water and sun-drenched skin – everything you could want from a summer fragrance. Floral and garden-inspired Yardley perfumes reduced to £11 in little-known 80% off scent sale 'I found the perfect summer perfume that smells like a tropical holiday and lasts all day' The new perfume is available at both Space NK and directly from Jo Loves for £135 and is part of the brand's exclusive Studio Juice collection. With Love from Como is a unisex fragrance that recreates the vibrancy of sunny days in Italy and brings you a little glimmer of summer every time you wear it. With Love from Como opens with crisp notes of mandarin, rhubarb and grapefruit for a zesty, citrus scent. It has heart notes of basil and tamarind to give it a more aromatic and subtly spicy depth, before finishing with base notes of cedarwood and musk for an earthy feel that's long lasting. The perfume is sure to be a hit with fans of the original Jo Malone fragrances, particularly if you love the Orange Blossom Cologne, £118, which is said to be one of Kate Middleton's go-to perfumes. The Orange Blossom scent also combines zesty clementine flowers and orange blossom with water lily and warm undertones of orris and balsamic vetiver. You can also pick up similar orange-based scents with Phlur's Tangerine Boy for £99, which is both zesty and spicy with notes of lemon, ginger, black pepper, tangerine and apple. For a more budget-friendly pick, The Body Shop's Full Orange Blossom Eau de Parfum is £42 and is infused with orange blossom absolute from Egypt. However With Love from Como has already been a big hit with fans, with one Space NK shopper writing: 'This scent is super fresh and bright, like citrusy air on a warm day. It opens with a clean, watery feel and settles into something soft and slightly floral. It's not overpowering but still noticeable, and I get compliments when I wear it. A great daytime fragrance that feels effortless and breezy.' Over on Jo Loves, another reviewer called it: '"Memories of Italy - uplifting and classy" before adding: 'The box is fabulous, then on opening the box I was greeted with a beautiful scene of Como on the bottle and just like this scene the fragrance is classy, fresh, uplifting and addictive, provoking memories of our Italian trip last year. The fragrance doesn't last very long on my skin (which isn't unusual), so I also spray my clothes. As we are having such wonderful weather at the moment, a spray of Como, close your eyes and you will be transported to an Italian memory.' One did mention, however: 'Very disappointing after last years special edition sell out 'With Love From Positano'. This years 'With Love From Como' is very light on the citrus with strong tones of cut grass. It's pleasant but not for me. An expensive purchase which sadly will not get used. Bring back 'With Love From Positano' please!' But another disagreed saying it was "Summer in a bottle" and adding: 'What a wonderful scent. It is full of citrus and is so fresh. Great to have a scent that lasted and didn't wear off quickly.' Users must download or already have WhatsApp on their phones to join in. The set costs £45 on LookFantastic but includes three 9ml bottles that can be worn individually or layered to create something more unique. Inside the set shoppers can find Grapefruit. This scent was inspired by the 'sun-soaked beaches of Spain' and combines citrus notes with rosemary and moss. It's not a huge surprise that it reminds fans of Pomelo by Jo Loves (£82), a more modern take on the citrus fragrance released from Jo Malone's new brand 29 years later. Peony & Blush Suede, a springtime favourite, also makes an appearance. Although it is a massively floral scent it actually opens up with bright red apple before delving into peony, rose, jasmine and carnation. Unlike Grapefruit it was created by Christine Nagel who is the in-house perfumer of luxury brand Hermès. It was crafted by Yann Vasnier, the nose behind Tom Ford's Santal Blush (£220), Velvet Orchid (£108) and Vanille Fatale (£290). All three scents are popular although Peony & Blush Suede Cologne is the most popular on the Jo Malone London website with an average rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 247 reviews. One shopper said: "I like to use this scent for special occasions. I've been in love with it for years! Many compliments also. It lasts on me." Princess Kate's fave perfume smells like Zara's £30 Jo Malone spray

The retailer sells a budget-friendly perfume that smells just like Kate Middleton's favourite Jo Malone scent Zara is offering a perfume that's strikingly similar to the Jo Malone fragrance reportedly favoured by Kate Middleton. The Princess of Wales is known for her love of Jo Malone London's Orange Blossom Cologne, a scent she adores so much that it was even the signature aroma at her 2011 wedding. Jo Malone London, renowned for its 'exquisite' fragrances and sought-after candles, is a luxury brand with a price tag to match. The Orange Blossom cologne, which debuted in 2003 when Jo Malone CBE was still with the company, is particularly loved by Kate. ‌ The high-end scent is described as a "shimmering garden oasis" and "pure delight." The fragrance boasts white floral notes with hints of tangerine and orange blossom. ‌ Kate's fondness for this citrus scent runs so deep that she reportedly chose it as the signature fragrance for her wedding to Prince William. British Vogue reported that she ensured the scent of Jo Malone London's Orange Blossom candles filled Westminster Abbey during her ceremony. She also reportedly opted for citrus-infused Jo Malone toiletries for the bathrooms. However, acquiring a bottle of the Orange Blossom Cologne can be expensive. A 100ml bottle retails for £118 on the official Jo Malone website, making it a pricey choice for many, reports Bristol Live. But there are more budget-friendly 'almost identical' alternatives available for those who wish to smell like royalty. Zara has a treat for fragrance lovers, courtesy of the luxury perfume maestro, Jo Malone CBE. Shoppers can indulge in the Zara Emotions collection, featuring the Fleur D'Oranger Eau de Parfum. This scent is a collaboration between the high-street fashion giant and the esteemed fragrance creator. The perfume is an aromatic blend of orange flower, neroli, and ylang-ylang, and is available in a 100ml bottle for £29.99. Its product description reads: "Created by Jo Malone CBE, founder of Jo Loves Eau de Parfum. A captivating fragrance that combines floral and fresh notes. It opens with bergamot and orange blossom, followed by a heart of neroli and ylang ylang. Its base offers a soft and sensual finish, ideal for those seeking an expression of modern elegance." ‌ When launching the £29.99 perfume, Malone expressed her enthusiasm: "I am delighted to join Zara on this amazing adventure of creativity and collaboration. Our first collection is drawn on the global heritage of both brands, Zara and Jo Loves, using ingredients I have loved for many years. Every fragrance has been crafted with personality and a voice to tell its story in a unique fashion." Jo Malone CBE launched her brand, Jo Malone London, in 1990, later selling it to Estee Lauder in 1999 and parting ways as Creative Director in 2006. She paved a new path with her own label, Jo Loves, established in 2011. According to reports, the late Queen Elizabeth II's favourite perfume was Guerlain L'Heure Bleue. Some sources indicate she had a fondness for Floris White Rose, a luxurious floral aroma, which she famously donned on her wedding day.
