'I've used my Stanley cup everyday for two years and it's now £32'

Learn more Lucy is a big fan of Stanley water bottles having built quite the collection (Image: Lucy Addicott) It's been almost two years since I first acquired the top-selling Stanley Quencher cup, and it's been my daily companion ever since. Initially, I aimed to increase my water intake as I was falling short of the recommended amount. Now, with this reliable tumbler at hand, I manage to consume at least one litre of fluid daily. For those unfamiliar, the Stanley Quencher cup is essentially a reusable water bottle that can hold an impressive 1.2L of liquid - reducing refill frequency and aiding in boosting your hydration levels. It also maintains your beverage frosty for 48 hours, a feature I find useful even during the chillier months. Since its UK launch, the Stanley Quencher cup has repeatedly sold out, but it doesn't come cheap at £45. Stanley seldom offers discounts - in fact, throughout the first year and a half I owned mine, I'd never personally seen it marked down from its original price. However, Amazon has reduced several colours down to £32 in a 29% off discount. READ MORE: Eczema sufferers save £27 on travel set that features derm-approved 'skin salvation' balm READ MORE: Best electric toothbrush Amazon Prime Day deals hand picked by expert Beating the price of the Stanley summer sale where it is now £34, the Amazon offer does vary depending on the colour favoured. Shoppers will find the shade fuchsia and plum the cheapest, ranging to lilac and shale at £40. The primary function of the cup is to encourage users to increase their water intake with minimal effort, and it certainly achieved this for me. On the first day, I found myself sipping from the bottle while engaged in routine activities such as working on my laptop or watching television, without giving it much thought. Stanley Quencher H2.0 Flowstate Tumbler £45 from £32 Amazon Shop Deal The bestselling tumbler comes in a range of colours. I believe the straw, which makes drinking effortless, contributes significantly to this. Additionally, the cup's 1.2L capacity allows me to meet my recommended daily water intake without needing a refill, which proved particularly handy during workdays. After filling it with ice, my drink remained chilled throughout the day, and even by morning when left on my bedside table. I noticed that smaller ice cubes melted after a few hours, but larger ones retained their shape for a considerably longer duration. There's no denying it, this cup is massive. Although the ergonomic handle with comfort-grip inserts makes it comfortable to hold, its sheer size means it's quite heavy when filled, making it somewhat impractical for commuting as it occupies a significant amount of space in your bag. However, when working from home, the large capacity is a godsend. The Stanley Quencher holds 1.2L of liquid (Image: Lucy Addicott) For a more travel-friendly Stanley Cup, consider the Stanley IceFlow Flip Travel Tumbler. It has a smaller capacity (890ml), but its leak-proof design and easy-to-hold handle make it ideal for on-the-go use. Another reusable water bottle that can hold 1L of liquid is the Ocean Bottle, priced at £45. Available in 11 chic colours, it can be personalised with your own text for an additional £10. It's also eco-friendly - for every bottle produced, 1,000 plastic bottles are prevented from entering the ocean. In other news from Stanley, the brand recently unveiled The Chevron collection, inspired by retro tennis. Patterns include Courtside Cream, Cornflower and Plumeria.

Best electric toothbrush Amazon Prime Deals hand picked by expert
Shopping writer Lucy Addicott has chosen her top five electric toothbrush deals for Amazon Prime Day 2025 with one contender saving shoppers more than £300 Shoppers making the move from manual to electric toothbrushes might want to dive into Amazon Prime Day 2025's oral-care offers as there are some sparkling deals on top brands. The likes of Oral-B and Philips have slashed the prices on some of their gadgets, providing a great opportunity to upgrade a dental routine for less. With discounts of up to £310 off, there are some serious savings to be had and as a shopping writer who has tried and tested over five electric toothbrushes from Oral-B, SURI and more, my hand-picked deals make spotting the best ones a whole lot easier. While a manual brush can do the job, they have nothing on their tech counterparts in terms of ease, functionality and overall results. As the average person spends more than 80 days in their life cleaning their teeth, it's well worth investing in a high quality brush - and these deals mean you don't have to spend a fortune. To take advantage of the deals customers will need to be a member of Amazon Prime. Those that are not can sign up for a free 30 day trial and enjoy discounts during the duration of Amazon Prime Day. Elsewhere, Oral-B are also running a summer sale, with bundles including free toothbrush heads, toothpaste, mouthwash and more. It is also Boots 'super savings week' and shoppers can find discounts on electricals from brush-baby, Oral-B, Colgate and Philips. Oral-B iO2 Electric Toothbrush, now £40, was £100 With a 60% off discount, the Oral-B iO2 model is now £39.99 reduced from £100. This beats the price of Boots and the Oral-B website, where it is on sale for £45. It's a top of the range toothbrush as it boasts three brushing modes (daily clean, sensitive and super sensitive), a gum pressure sensor and a 30 second timer letting the user know when to clean a different part of the mouth. It also comes with a travel case, for less than £40 all in. There are various different colours in stock, from black to white, plus spending £3 extra means customers can get a sturdier case with a special design. One shopper was left very impressed with the 'long lasting battery' and another said its 'smooth and quiet clean' has 'exceeded expectations'. Someone else said the 'vibration feels a little rough', but they got used to the sensation 'pretty quickly'. Oral-B iO8 Electric Toothbrush, now £139, was £450 Saving shoppers more than £300, the Oral-B iO8 can be snapped up for £139.99, down from £450. Nearly 70% off, this mega deal has been hailed 'good value for money' as it is a 'five star toothbrush'. Features include six cleaning modes (daily clean, sensitive, whiten, gum care, intense and super sensitive) and sensor alerts. Oral-B's iO8 model takes things up a notch in terms of dentalcare as it boasts AI intelligence, recognising your brushing style and guiding you via an app. The real-time feedback is 'impressive' and 'by far the best' for some, while others found it 'not necessary'. SURI Electric Toothbrush, now £56, was £75 The SURI Sustainable Electric Toothbrush is the device I have been using for the last two years - and it's still serving me well. I find it is reducing my cost of hygienist visits and I've even has friends ask me where I got the toothbrush from when away on trips. On sale at Amazon for £56.25, it is incredibly lightweight, making it perfect for travel, and it comes in four stylish colours. The eco-friendly gadget has been designed to clean teeth with a minimal impact on the environment, using brush heads made from plant-based materials. It is important to note that users will have to stick to the SURI brush heads and you can pick up a pack of three for £14.99. The brand also offers a brush head subscription service. SURI toothbrushes are also 25% off on their website as part of the summer sale. Shoppers can read my full review here. Philips Sonicare 6100 Electric Toothbrush, now £99, was £290 Having tried the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Prestige 9900, I can vouch that the brand make an exceptional toothbrush. This model in particular is on sale for Prime, but is still at the pricier end of the scale at £199.99, down from £267. Those looking to spend under £100 can nab the Philips Sonicare 6100 model for £99.99, reduced from £290. A saving of £200, the toothbrush comes with two spare brush heads and a nifty travel case. Shoppers can get it in black, white or blue, and enjoy perks such as two brushing modes and three intensity levels. Customers have said it is 'perfect for sensitive teeth and gums' and while there are 'not as many options as other models', it is 'straightforward' to use. Ordo Sonic+ Electric Toothbrush, now £39, was £60 Unleashing 40,000 sonic pulses per minute, the Ordo Sonic+ ensures every nook and cranny of your mouth is squeaky clean. Now on sale for £39.99 it comes with the settings clean, white, sensitive and massage. One shopper was drawn in by the colour choices saying 'I've wanted this for such a long time because it's such a beautiful colour', going on to to say 'I honestly feel like the dentist has cleaned them professionally every time I clean my teeth'. Another customer shared that it 'rarely needs charging' and the timer is 'handy', letting the user know the length of time to brush teeth. It doesn't come with lots of frills, such as an app or travel case, but it's a fun option especially for young children or teens.

Shopping expert shares top Roman picks from new boho range
Mirror shopping expert Lucy Addicott has picked her favourite Roman items from the fashion brand's new Effortless Summer collection High street fashion brand Roman has shared its latest clothing collection and it's ideal for summer. The Effortless Summer 2025 range is inspired by bohemian romance and breezy escapes. Expect floaty dresses, stylish yet comfortable jumpsuits, tops, and trousers in a selection of neutral hues and vibrant prints. The collection covers petite and curve pieces, with prices starting at £15. Plus, for a limited time, shoppers can bag some bits at even more of a bargain. The brand says this collection focuses on 'breathable fabrics, fashionable textures, on-trend silhouettes and vacation-ready styles', and customers are spoilt for choice. Shopping expert Lucy has selected a few of her favourite pieces and shares how shoppers can save by using code SHINE at checkout. Using the code, customers will receive a 10% discount that automatically reduces the price of all items in the basket, including new-in. Lucy has searched the new collection and picked out a few of her favourite pieces. From strappy dresses to figure-flattering tops, there's something for everyone. Blue Petite Border Print Shirred Midi Dress The tile print design of this blue and white printed midi dress has us dreaming of turquoise oceans and sunny Greek islands. On sale for £37.80, it's the gorgeous full skirt that steals the show. Shirred fabric is really comfortable to wear and the ruffled shoulder straps give beautiful detail to elevate the dress. It is made from 100% cotton, giving it a super soft and breathable feel. However, shoppers should be wary when washing, as cotton needs a little extra care to stop it from shrinking. Pink Petite Floral Tiered Maxi Dress Whether strolling in a city or chilling in the garden, this pink maxi dress is a sensational pick and shoppers have said they 'love the colour and style' of it. The elasticated waistband is universally flattering, creating a fit and flare silhouette. Pair with sandals and a denim jacket for a warm weather ensemble or dress it up with accessories and wear as a wedding guest dress. For a limited time, using the code, customers can get it for £43.20. It is important to note, however, that the shoulder straps are not adjustable, which may be a problem for some shoppers. Ivory Fruit Print Strappy Midi Dress Fruit print is a trendy option for this season and perfect as we head towards warmer weather. Roman's Fruit Print Strappy Midi Dress is bursting with colour, and shoppers have said it is 'pretty'. Someone who has a 'pear-shaped' figure and is a size 16 also mentioned that the dress is 'very flattering'. Stocked in sizes 10 to 20 and now on sale for £40.50, pair with gold jewellery and wedge sandals for a summer-ready look. Fruit print is also the pattern of the moment at Next, with the Bright Orange Fruit Print Button Down Puff Sleeve Midi Dress retailing for £47. Customers say they have 'received lots of compliments' since wearing it. Red Curve Ikat Paisley Asymmetric Overlay Top Available in sizes 16 to 32, this boho top would look lovely paired with denim jeans, as the model above showcases, or with a floaty maxi skirt. It's also a style that could be worn over swimwear on holiday when lounging at the beach or pool, making it the perfect item for styling different ways while jetting off on holiday. Although it's not made from 100% chiffon, it still has a similar look and feel. Shoppers who prefer chiffon might want to consider this Bow Top from Free People. It comes in sizes small to extra large but is more expensive at £118. Black Ric Rac Strap Detail Jumpsuit Roman's new collection also caters to shoppers who prefer to keep their colour palette neutral. The Black Ric Rac Strap Detail Jumpsuit comes in khaki or black and features a stand-out white trim. Now available for £36, it might be brand new, but customers are already snapping it up. One happy shopper said: "It looks great for a relaxed evening at the pub or on holiday." A second wrote: "Stylish looking outfit for day and evening." However, it has been noted the cropped length may not be the desired length for those with longer legs. For those looking for a tall option, this Navy Blue Twist Front Wide Leg Jumpsuit from Long Tall Sally is designed for shoppers 5'8 and above. It's £35 and has a flattering twist feature that'll cinch wearers in at the waist.

'I saved £170 on holiday toiletries bagging £220 worth of beauty for £50'
Heading off on holiday soon, shopping writer Lucy Addicott found a way to sort her summer skincare and makeup for a fraction of the price For me, stocking up on summer-ready skincare and makeup is all part of the fun of going on holiday, but after navigating paying for flights, travel insurance and luggage fees, it can soon start to add up. With SPF, after-sun and moisturiser on my must-have list, I found an impressive way to bag all these items and more, saving £170. OK! Beauty Box, a beauty subscription service, have just launched a one-off summer beauty box packed with goodies worth over £220. Having received mine in the post, I was delighted to discover it contains 12 products, with eight of them being full sized. The box is priced at £49.99, so after a quick calculation, each item essentially comes in at £4.16 each. When you consider that just one of the products (the Mudmasky Glow-Up Cleanser) costs £40 alone, you're effectively getting ten products for free. And, if you can save money off your toiletries, that means more in the budget for cocktails, right? This beauty box is filled with products from stand-out brands including Bondi Sands, Trinny London, Hello Sunday and more, but the first item that caught my eye had to be the Nuxe multi-purpose dry oil for your face, body and oil. The travel size bottle is the ideal size for taking away as a little goes a long way. It leaves your skin with the most glorious shimmer and as it smells lovely and floral, it doubles up as a body scent, too. I would warn however that the applicator is a little tricky to use so be careful to not overpour and waste any of the product. Speaking of summery scents, the Bondi Sands Body Moisturiser enriched with vitamin E and jojoba has a tropical rum fragrance. I was a little wary at first that I might end up smelling too much like a Pina Colada, but the lotion has a subtle pineapple scent which is really pleasant. I personally use a gradual tan and the moisturiser has been specifically formulated to help prolong the life of your tan and be self-tan friendly. If you don't use self-tanner, it is still a hydrating, lightweight moisturiser that leaves skin smooth and radiant. If you're a fan of the summery scent from the best-loved Sol de Janiero Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, shoppers can find it included in the LookFantastic The Summer Heroes Edit. The box is worth more than £150, retailing for £45, and includes items from ESPA, Eucerin, Iconic London, Caudalie and more. Next up in the OK! Summer Beauty Box are two makeup products that work wonderfully in union - Trinny London's Golden Glow Bronzer and the Bellapierre All Eyes On You Eyeshadow Palette. Both are worth £25 individually, so the subscription is worth getting for just these two items alone, and they are ideal for a golden goddess summer beauty look. I applied the bronzer across my nose, forehead and the tops of my cheekbones and it gave me a sun-kissed finish. The eyeshadow quad allowed me to create a bronzed, smokey eye look, however, I could have done with a pale brown matte shade in the selection. I was pleasantly surprised to find removing the glitter eyeshadow quick and easy. Worth £20, the Hello Sunday The Take-Out One Invisible Sun Stick SPF30 really intrigued me as I'd never used a clear sunscreen product before. While I'm yet to test it out in high temperatures, I did pop it on for a sunny day in the UK and it felt lightweight and non-sticky. It'll be perfect for topping up areas prone to burning on holiday, such as the tops of shoulders and on the face. What's inside the OK! Summer Beauty Box? Hello Sunday The Take-Out One Invisible Sun Stick SPF30 - full size, worth £20 Gruum Solstaler After Sun Face Oil - full size, worth £15 Glow Core Gua Shua - full size, worth £10.80 Trinny London Golden Glow Bronzer in shade Naomi - full size, worth £25 KVD Beauty Tattoo Pencil Liner - travel size, worth £13 Nuxe Hulle Multi-Purpose Dry Oil - travel size, worth £4.40 Bondi Sands Tropical Rum Scent Body Moisturiser - full size, worth £5.99 Bellapierre Cosmetics All Eyes On You Eyeshadow Palette - full size, worth £25 Avant Reconstructing Keratin Complex Ultra Shine Hair Cream - travel size, worth £17 Mudmasky Glow-Up Cleanser - full size, worth £39.99 Balance Me Super Firming Body Oil - travel size, worth £12 Amphora Aromatics Mint and Deas Sea Salts Deep Cleansing Face Mask - full size, worth £14 Overall, the quality of the items included in the OK! Summer Beauty Box, versus the £49.99 price tag, makes for an exceptional bargain. For a cheaper option, consumers can consider the Boots Self Care Beauty Box priced at £34 but worth £137. Inside, expect delights from brands such as No7, Estee Lauder and Philip Kingsley. I would have liked to see a lip product in the OK! Beauty Box, however, I found the variation of products you receive meant I could stock up on most of my summer beauty essentials such as SPF, after-sun, moisturiser, body glow and more, in one. Each product felt really luxurious to use, so even testing them out at home I felt like I was already on holiday. With my travel toiletries bag now packed with Trinny London, Bondi Sands and Nuxe for less than £50, I feel ready to jet off in style.

'I'm a fashion writer and my favourite Roman spring and summer pieces are all under £50' Fashion writer Lucy Addicott has put together a wish-list of her top picks from Roman's spring and summer collection - and all of them are under £50 My favourite spring and summer picks from Roman are perfect for the warmer weather (Image: Roman ) When it comes to refreshing my wardrobe for the sunnier seasons, I always aim to shop wisely to maximise value without compromising on style. This requires finding a fashion label that delivers high-quality, trend-driven pieces, and this year, Roman fits the bill perfectly. A browse of their website left me thoroughly impressed with their new season collection, enabling me to compile a wish-list of my top picks, each priced under £50. From quilted floral jackets that exude a pricier vibe to eye-catching dresses perfect for spring and summer festivities, the choices were abundant. Below are my fashion-writer approved selections from Roman that I foresee becoming staples in wardrobes for many years. These universally appealing items are designed to make the wearer feel as fabulous as they look. READ MORE: GAP's £75 denim bomber jacket is the perfect spring wardrobe staple READ MORE: Debenhams' Birkenstock-style 'quality' leather clogs are 'comfortable from the first wear' and less than £40 Royal Blue Abstract Border Print Shirt Dress – £42 Royal Blue Abstract Border Print Shirt Dress (Image: Roman ) This sought-after dress from Roman has us fantasising about holidays on a Greek isle, with numerous customers noting its resemblance to styles featured in Mamma Mia. Crafted from a smooth, woven fabric, this blue and white printed dress offers a chic, spring-ready aesthetic that radiates sophistication, reports the Mirror. This is the ideal choice for a sun-drenched holiday or simply relaxing at home, offering an effortlessly chic outfit when teamed with tan sandals or fresh white trainers for £42. However, it might not be the best fit for those on the shorter side, as petite or regular skirt lengths are not available. The fabric can easily be altered to meet your requirements, for those looking for a dress with a similar print that comes in petite, regular or tall sizes, Boden's Marcia Jersey Midi Shirt Dress could be a good option. Stretch Pocket Detail Jacket - £38 Stretch Pocket Detail Jacket (Image: Roman ) A lightweight jacket is essential for transitional weather and Roman's Stretch Pocket Detail Jacket, priced under £40, is a strong contender. Available in an impressive array of 17 colours, including pastel shades, neutrals and checks, it has received rave reviews, earning an almost perfect score of 4.9 out of five stars from 36 customers. It's a fantastic alternative to a denim jacket, with shoppers praising it has 'plenty of stretch', ensuring it 'doesn't feel restrictive'. Pink Abstract Print Shirred Waist Maxi Dress - £48 Pink Abstract Print Shirred Waist Maxi Dress (Image: Roman ) The Pink Abstract Print Shirred Waist Maxi Dress has been hailed as 'even more stunning than it looks online' by a five-star reviewer. Customers have praised the dress for its 'not too high' split and 'discreet pockets'. Retailing at under £50, this exquisite piece has left wearers feeling 'like a million dollars'. However, some have noted that the dress is 'far too long dragging on the floor', suggesting that those of shorter stature may need to alter it or pair it with chunky wedges. For those fond of this style, the Nobody's Child Pink Floral Bandeau Ruby Maxi Dress might also appeal. White Lace Detail Cotton A Line Maxi Skirt - £25 White Lace Detail Cotton A Line Maxi Skirt (Image: Roman ) Embrace the boho trend with this £25 White Lace Cotton Maxi Skirt. Shoppers have commended the lining for ensuring comfort and preventing any see-through concerns. Black Floral Print Cotton Jacket - £49.50 Black Floral Print Cotton Jacket (Image: Roman ) Article continues below Printed jackets are the talk of the town this season, with celebrities and fashion editors alike donning them. This Black Floral Print Cotton Jacket is described as 'gorgeous', and it's also available in pink for those who prefer a more vibrant look. A popper fastening allows it to be worn closed, but we're quite taken with the idea of pairing it open over a plain white tee and light blue denim jeans. The bold pattern might not appeal to everyone, but the monochrome version ensures it doesn't become overwhelming. For those willing to splurge a bit more, Next offers a similar style with their 'well admired' Ecru/Navy Quilted Embroided Jacket priced at £76.
