It's no cheap business to operate with millions of gamers across the world. Naturally, people move on, leaving older games behind in the process. EA has confirmed that it is shutting down the servers of Madden NFL 22 on October 20, 2025. This year has been a deadly year for EA games, as a total of 12 games have already seen their demise as of May 2025. Fans aren't particularly happy with this growing list, but on the positive side, it allows the fans to enjoy their favourite games before their dying moment. Football fans are in for a disappointment as EA announces Madden NFL 22's server shutdown on October 20, 2025 . From this day onwards, all multiplayer or online game modes of Madden NFL 22 will be inaccessible for everyone. Anyone who owns the game will only get access to the offline modes.
