Previously offered only during the summer, these exclusive routes will now operate from February with a weekly non-stop flight from Montréal-Trudeau (YUL) aboard an Airbus A321LR. Air Transat shares are trading unchanged at $1.70.

Etihad Airways reports record Q1 profit of Dhs685 million
Etihad Airways has delivered record-breaking financial performance and highest-ever customer satisfaction performance in the first quarter of 2025, building on last year's momentum with further notable improvements across revenue, operational efficiency, and fleet expansion. Profit after tax reached Dhs685 million ($187 million), marking a 30 per cent increase year-on-year, driven by robust passenger demand and operational efficiencies. Total revenue saw a 15 per cent rise compared to Q1, 2024, supported by both passenger and cargo business. Etihad continues to lead the region in passenger growth, carrying 5.0 million guests in Q1 2025 - a 16 per cent year-on-year increase - and maintaining strong momentum into Q2. With nearly 20 million passengers carried over the last 12 months, Etihad is the fastest-growing airline in the region. 'We are proud to deliver a record-breaking quarter - both in profitability and in guest satisfaction,' said Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways. 'Achieving our highest-ever Q1 profit of Dhs685 million and our best-ever customer satisfaction scores reflects the strength of our business and the dedication of our people.' New Delhi [India] May 21 (ANI): The Abu Dhabi-based carrier Etihad Airways reported its first quarter results on Wednesday, where they reported a highest-ever first-quarter performance in both financial results and customer satisfaction.A news report by Gulf News says, Etihad Airways has reported a profit after tax (PAT) of AED 685 million (USD 187 million) in Q1 2025, marking a rise of 30 per cent increase compared to the same period last year. The rise is mainly driven by robust passenger demand and operational the company witnessed a 15 per cent rise in total revenue, as compared to same quarter last year, boosted by a positive performance in passenger and cargo on boarded 5 million passengers in first quarter of this year, which was about 16 per cent rise as compared to Q1 2024. 'With nearly 20 million passengers carried over the last 12 months, Etihad is the fastest-growing airline in the Middle East region,' the airline satisfaction also reached a record high in Q1 2025, with a 20 per cent year-on-year improvement. Heading to Guyana: Air Transat Announces a New Non-Stop Route Between Toronto and Georgetown Français
