Rosé's Biggest Single Returns To An Important Region Months Into Its Life

Bruno Mars and Rose's 'Apt' climbs again in its fortieth week on U.K. charts, returning to the top ... More 40 and appearing on five tallies simultaneously. By the time most pop songs hit 40 weeks on any chart, they're lucky to even still be present. Pop music is known for its quick turnover rate, and while a very lucky few smashes can remain in the public's mind for months, if not years, that kind of success is incredibly rare.
Bruno Mars and Rosé scored a surprisingly sturdy smash with 'Apt.,' which didn't just earn a lofty debut or reach impressive positions on the charts, it's managed to stick around for dozens of weeks. The collaboration isn't just holding on — it's actually managing to rise across nearly every tally it appears on in the United Kingdom, which is uncommon for a tune that's been present since last year.
'Apt.' Appears on Five Charts Simultaneously
This week in the U.K., 'Apt.' lives on five different charts. It's a win when it comes to streaming platforms and pure purchases, and when combined, general consumption.
This frame, the tune lifts on four rosters and even returns to the Official Physical Singles chart. Physical copies of 'Apt.' are still selling incredibly well, as the tune reappears at No. 38, becoming a top 40 smash again.
Sales and Streaming Wins
Amazingly, 'Apt.' is a top 40 hit on the other four charts where it's still found as well. The cut sits highest on the Official Streaming ranking, coming in at No. 16. It also lands at No. 24 on both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads rosters.
'Apt.' returns to the top 40 region – which usually defines when a charting cut becomes a real smash – on the main list of the biggest songs in the U.K., coincidentally in its fortieth week on the list. The multilingual track steps up from No. 43 to No. 40, narrowly managing to find space within that tier.
A Former No. 1 That's Still Rising
In the past, 'Apt.' has hit No. 1 on almost every chart where it's now climbing. The Korean-English duet only missed the peak position on the Official Singles chart, where it almost became a historic leader. Instead, it topped out in second place.

Lady Gaga's Biggest Singles Match One Another — For Now

Lady Gaga first rose to fame by reintroducing millions of Americans to electronic dance-pop with her breakout hit "Just Dance." The tune, which arrived in mid-2008, has stood as her longest-charting single ever since then — until now. This week, the song that started it all is finally matched by one of Gaga's most recent releases, which couldn't sound less like her introductory hit – and yet, the two have now spent the same amount of time on the Hot 100. 49 Weeks on the Hot 100 "Die With a Smile," Gaga's collaboration with Bruno Mars, reaches 49 weeks on the Hot 100. As it hits that milestone, "Die With a Smile" ties "Just Dance" for the honor of being Gaga's longest-running success on the most important songs tally in America. "Die With a Smile" Vs. 'Just Dance' Once again, "Die With a Smile" holds at No. 10 on the Hot 100. The fact that it remains within the chart's highest tier after 49 weeks — at which point "Just Dance" was about to disappear — speaks volumes about the popularity of "Die With a Smile" and how rankings are now compiled differently these days. "Die With a Smile" Will Likely Win in a Few Days It seems inevitable that "Die With a Smile" will pass "Just Dance" in just a few days, and there's no telling how much longer it might remain on the list. The track appears to be a surefire bet to become Gaga's first to hit a full year on the competitive ranking, and it could continue to find space on the Hot 100 for months. "Die With a Smile" Beats 'Just the Way You Are' For Mars, "Die With a Smile" breaks out of a tie with his own breakout hit "Just the Way You Are" to become his third-longest-charting Hot 100 smash. "Uptown Funk" with Mark Ronson remains his greatest success, as it spent 56 weeks on the tally, 14 of which were at No. 1. "That's What I Like," which topped the ranking once in May 2017, slipped off after exactly a year. "Die With a Smile" is all but certain to match "That's What I Like" within a month. Whether it can catch up to "Uptown Funk," however, remains to be seen.

Alex Warren, One Of 2025's Breakout Acts, Scores His First No. 1

Alex Warren has spent a large chunk of 2025 dominating charts across several Western music markets. His breakout tune "Ordinary" propelled him to new heights, as the cut reached No. 1 in both the United Kingdom and the United States. The former YouTuber and musical talent quickly capitalized on that success by releasing his debut album You'll Be Alright, Kid earlier this month. The full-length is an expansion of Warren's earlier You'll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1) EP. Now featuring "Ordinary" and several other popular singles, the collection is soaring on rankings everywhere. Alex Warren's First No. 1 Album The immediate success of the now-full-length earns Warren his first No. 1 album in the U.K., where it tops the Official Albums chart, which ranks the most-consumed full-lengths and EPs in the country. Just last week, when You'll Be Alright, Kid was still an EP, the title sat at No. 25, after previously peaking at No. 9. Sales and streams of all versions of You'll Be Alright, Kid, along with standout tracks like "On My Mind" with Rose and "Bloodline" with Jelly Roll, help send the project as high as it can go. You'll Be Alright, Kid Rises to No. 2 Warren's debut album also surges on several other rosters in the U.K., coming close to giving him a No. 1 on nearly every tally. You'll Be Alright, Kid hits a new peak of No. 2 on both the Official Albums Streaming and Official Albums Sales charts, while climbing to a new high of No. 3 on the Official Album Downloads list. You'll Be Alright, Kid Earns Alex Warren a Debut Top 10 The same release, which doubled in length to serve as Warren's debut full-length, also opens inside the top three on two additional tallies where he's never appeared before. You'll Be Alright, Kid starts at No. 2 on the Official Physical Albums chart and No. 3 on the Official Vinyl Albums ranking, earning Warren his first top 10 placement as he appears on the pair of lists for the very first time.
