Pat's will look to follow in the footsteps of Shelbourne last night in pulling off a big upset in Europe but their task is even greater tonight against one of the big three from Turkey's Süper Lig, with many times the budget. Their manager is the former Manchester United one Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and they have a few recognisable faces – former Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham, and Portugal internationals Rafa Silva and Joao Mario to name a few.
St Pat's managed to keep Turkish opposition, İstanbul Başakşehir, to a goalless draw at home in the Conference League qualifiers last year however, and Stephen Kenny will be looking for a similar performance tonight.

Brennan, centre-back on the Dublin All-Ireland winning sides of 2011 and 2013, guided Louth to a long-awaited Leinster title this summer. It was the county's first senior provincial title in 68 years and marked the first time a team other than Dublin had won the Leinster SFC since 2010. Brennan departed the Louth post following their elimination from the championship at the hands of Donegal in the preliminary quarter-final. He assumes the Dublin job in the wake of Farrell's departure after six years in charge. The Na Fianna clubman, who succeeded Jim Gavin in late 2019, presided over two All-Ireland title victories in 2020 and 2023, and stepped down following defeat to Tyrone at the quarter-final stage in 2025.

Dublin appoint Ger Brennan as senior football manager
Three months after leading Louth to their first Leinster SFC title in 68 years, Ger Brennan has been appointed as the new Dublin senior football manager. The St Vincent's man, who left the Louth role in early July after two years in charge, has been given a three-year term. He replaces Dessie Farrell who stepped down after six seasons in charge following June's All-Ireland quarter-final defeat to Tyrone. Brennan's management team will be confirmed at a later date. Brennan won two All-Ireland senior medals as a player – 2011 and '13 – before retiring from the inter-county game in 2015. He captained St Vincent's to an All-Ireland senior club title in 2014 and had been part of the team that won the 2008 crown. Confirming the news, Dublin chairman Ken O'Sullivan said: 'Ger has achieved the highest honours as a player with Dublin and he has our full support in leading the Dublin Senior Football panel in pursuit of further honours in the coming years.
