Renewable energy projects play a vital role in supporting Oman's economic diversification plans and advancing sustainable energy goals by diversifying energy sources, preserving the environment, and reducing harmful emissions. The Sultanate of Oman continues to prioritise the development of renewable energy projects across its governorates, aiming to achieve a 30% renewable energy contribution by 2030.
