Pink's Daughter Willow Deserves a Tony Award for This Performance

Pink is raising her glass to one special performance.
From the comfort of her living room, the 'So What' singer watched the 2025 Tony Awards with her 14-year-old daughter Willow Sage and, in addition to seeing stars like Darren Criss and Cole Escola take home trophies, she was treated to her own at-home concert.
In a video shared to Pink's Instagram Story June 8, Willow stood on her own version of the Radio City Music Hall stage (a coffee table in the living room) and belted the song 'Where I Wanna Be' from the Tony-nominated musical Boop! Atop the clip, the 'Raise Your Glass' singer wrote, 'I like when she sings at me.'
Pink—who also shares son Jameson Moon, 8, with husband Carey Hart—also commemorated theater's biggest night with a carousel of pics showing Willow enraptured by the award show and wearing a self-made ensemble.
'This girl is where she wants to be,' the 45-year-old wrote in the June 8 Instagram post, 'dressed up in her Great Gatsby the Musical costume (which she designed herself) watching the Tony's!'

While it's clear that Pink is a fan of celebrating her daughter's passion for theater, the Grammy winner considers herself the benefactor of Willow's love for the stage.
'I am happy as long as my kids are being their authentic selves, and they're not a--holes,' Pink wrote in an October Instagram post of her and her daughter's trip to see The Great Gatsby on Broadway. 'But having a theater kid? Ultimate dream slash best case scenario.'
'I am under no illusion that any of this is easy,' she continued. 'Parenting, being a kid, being on this earth, any of it. As long as we are doing 'almost our best', and allowing others to be their true selves- then I think we're nailing it.'
Meanwhile, ahead of Willow leaving her mom's Summer Carnival tour last June to participate in a home production of Bye Bye Birdie, Pink emphasized her excitement for her daughter's passion.
'I want her to go do the damn thing," the 'What About Us' singer said in a May interview with People. 'She's got a voice, man. She's a little bird.'

Harris Yulin, a prolific Emmy-nominated actor whose career spanned more than five decades across film, television, and stage, died Tuesday of cardiac arrest in New York City. He was 88. The character actor's many films include 'Scarface,' 'Clear and Present Danger, and 'Training Day.' He also played Buddy Dieker on the Netflix series 'Ozark' from 2017 to 2018. Yulin was a well-respected theater actor, making New York debut in 1963 in 'Next Time I'll Sing to You' and first appeared on Broadway in the 1980s production of 'Watch on the Rhine.' He also starred in Broadway productions of 'The Diary of Anne Frank,' 'The Price,' and 'Hedda Gabler.' The actor was set to begin production on the MGM+ series 'American Classic,' opposite Kevin Kline and Laura Linney. Series co-creator Michael Hoffman told The Hollywood Reporter, 'Harris Yulin was very simply one of the greatest artists I have ever encountered.' Yulin was married to actress Gwen Welles Nashville from 1975 until her death in 1993 at age 42. He is survived by his second wife, actress Kristen Lowman, and his son-in-law Ted, nephew Martin and godchildren Marco and Lara. Harvey Weinstein Found Guilty on One Charge in New York Rape Retrial

A jury found the former Hollywood producer guilty of one of the three sex crimes charges in his New York retrial on June 11. Weinstein was convicted of the charge of a Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree, stemming from his 2006 alleged assault of former production assistant Miriam Haley. He was found not guilty of a charge of a Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree over his alleged assault of Kaja Sokola in 2006. The jury has yet to reach a verdict on the third count, relating to the alleged 2013 rape of aspiring actress Jessica Mann. (Deliberations are set to continue June 12.) Weinstein, 73, was originally found guilty of third-degree rape and one count of criminal sexual act in the first degree during his trial in 2020, resulting in a 23-year sentence behind bars, per NBC News. However, his conviction was overturned in April 2024, with New York's highest court determining that improper testimony had been allowed at the trial. 'We conclude that the trial court erroneously admitted testimony of uncharged, alleged prior sexual acts against persons other than the complainants of the underlying crimes,' the court said, "because that testimony served no material non-propensity purpose." In his retrial, he also faced a new allegation from Sokola, who said she met Weinstein at a club in 2002 when she was 16 and working as a fashion model, according to The New York Times. She alleged that he forcibly performed oral sex on her at a hotel in Manhattan four years later, leading to one more count of a first-degree criminal sexual act, per NBC News. One evening, Alex Moore was playing with her 23-month-old daughter, Addy They were being silly and listening to nursery rhymes when all of a sudden, Addy started dancing Alex watched as her daughter slid off the bed and began doing little high-kick stompsAlex Moore and her husband, Christian, both work full-time. So after wrapping up their workdays and picking up their daughter from daycare, the North Carolina-based couple likes to wind down by laying in bed to decompress. One evening, Christian went to make dinner while Alex stayed back to play with their 23-month-old daughter, Addy. They were being silly and listening to nursery rhymes when all of a sudden, Addy started dancing. Alex watched as her daughter slid off the bed and began doing little high-kick stomps. "I had no idea what she was doing until she said 'cha cha??' " Alex, 31, tells PEOPLE exclusively. Alex goes on to explain that her daughter learned the "Cha-Cha Slide" by DJ Casper at daycare. She says her teacher, Ms. Mikaila, plays the song often and has been teaching the kids the steps. Although Ms. Mikaila had previously sent Alex videos of Addy dancing along to the "Cha-Cha Slide" at daycare, this was the first time she had seen her daughter perform some of the correct steps in person — especially the stomping and the 'hands on your knees' move. "She was walking around stomping her feet with almost a high-kick fashion, and I kept giggling because I'd never seen her stomp like that before," Alex, a aesthetics technician, says. In the moment, Alex pulled out her phone and recorded the sweet scene. Later, she decided to post it to TikTok, thinking, 'This is too good to not share with more people.' But then, the video quickly went viral, amassing more than 7.4 million views and 13,000 comments. "I knew she was demanding the cha cha slide at daycare' is in incredible statement in itself 😭," one user wrote. "and it is already knows her left and right ✅️❤️," someone else replied. Another person commented, "That's actually so impressive that she knows the cha cha slide at her age .. what an icon." Reading through the comments, Alex says she couldn't help but smile. "The kind of responses I've received from the video are the exact ones I was hoping," she says. " 'This made my day, thank you so much.' It was an added bonus to hear that my daughter could excel in a dance class, because what parent doesn't want to hear that their child has a knack for something?" "My daughter brings me so much joy every day, so I really loved that I could do that for other people," the mom adds. "Also hearing from other daycare employees that they'll start implementing the song into their classrooms for teaching directions, and dance teachers that she has amazing skills for her age — that feedback really stood out to me the most." Since her daughter is so young, Alex knows won't remember much from this time, but in teaching her about it in a few years, she hopes her daughter realizes that she made a lot of people smile when they felt like they couldn't. "Addy has taught me that children truly are like flowers: when they're given a loving environment, taught things with patience and in a fun way, they can blossom into the best versions of themselves," she says.
