Jodie Sweetin Reveals the Surprising 1-Word Response Her Kids Had to Her Work on 'Full House '(Exclusive)
The costars chatted with PEOPLE ahead of the event, sharing how their children fit into the Full House fold
The costars appeared with John Stamos and Lori Loughlin at the live event, looking back at some of the sitcom's biggest momentsJodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber's kids aren't too impressed by their Full House fame.
Speaking with PEOPLE ahead of iHeartRadio's How Rude, Tanneritos! Wedding Special live event, the costars and moms talked about how their children have reacted to their sitcom stardom.
When it comes to Sweetin's two daughters — Beatrix, 14, and Zoie, 17 — she confirmed they were never interested in checking out their mom's acting roots, simply calling it "weird."
Barber, who is mom to Felicity, 16, and Tate, 19, said her kids also "didn't really care,"
"They're just normal teenagers. They don't care what their parents do," Barber tells PEOPLE. "They were like, 'It's mom. You yell at us to go clean our room.' "

Barber recalls a time where her son's classmates figured out she was an actress and asked him about Full House.
"I showed Full House to my son when he was in second grade, because he kept going to school and the kids were like, 'Your mom's [in] Full House?'"
"[He told me], 'Everyone has seen Full House, but me, Mom, why?' And so I'm like, 'Here's an episode,' but that's about it."
Whenever Sweetin's kids saw it, it was because, "It was probably on Nick at Nite or something. I'm sure my mom or dad, when the kids were little, was like, 'Oh, you want to watch mom on the show?' And even at two, they were probably like, 'No.'"
When it came time for the cast to reunite for Fuller House, Barber said her kids "loved coming to the live tapings on Friday nights."
It gave the costars' kids a chance to connect, with Barber noting how close in age Felicity and Zoie are.
"Oh my god, they loved hanging out," Sweetin agrees. "They just wanted to hang out with Michael and Soni and Elias. They didn't come to see what we did."
"They were hardly ever in the audience. They were down in the schoolroom. Remember the time we were doing the scene, and I literally heard Zoie yelling in the school room in the back? And I was like, 'That's my kid,' on a tape night," she laughs.
During the live show, which also featured an appearance from costars John Stamos and Lori Loughlin, the group opened up about whether they had any regrets with the original series, during which they referenced the end of the series.
"I wish we had gotten a proper goodbye," Barber shared.
"We didn't know we weren't coming back. We did it out of order," Stamos recalled.
"The episodes where Michelle gets amnesia, which was how we ended the show, that was last to air. But we shot those first, and then the last one we shot was the one with Andrew Keegan," Loughlin explained.
Stamos agreed, adding, "We didn't know... I think we found out somewhere during that week or something. They kind of said, 'Okay, well...' and that wasn't a good way to go out. But thank God we got to do Fuller House."

Savannah Chrisley Teases Major Life Update After Parents' Prison Release
Savannah Chrisley campaigned nonstop to bring her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, home from prison, but after just three months of their release, she is ready to move out. The Chrisley Knows Best alum opened up on the latest episode of her Unlocked podcast, revealing she will be leaving the family home in Nashville and moving into a condo. 'I am moving, and I am so excited,' she told her listeners, per People. 'I have loved all the time I have had with my family. I have loved it,' she continued. 'But as an almost 30-year-old woman, I need my own space. I love being alone, and it's really tough not having that alone time and space. And I know my parents want their life organized and all of their things in one spot. So it just made the most sense for me to move out.' Todd and Julie were convicted of bank and tax fraud in 2022 and sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison. They spent just a little over two years behind bars before President Donald Trump issued them full pardons on May 27, 2025. While her parents were incarcerated, Savannah became the legal guardian to her younger siblings, Chloe and Grayson, and took on the responsibilities of running the family home. Savannah is ready to let some of those responsibilities go as she prepares for condo life. 'I think all the responsibilities I have had for two and a half years have been so overwhelming that I literally just want to walk out my door, lock it, and leave,' she said. 'Not have to worry about a yard and pool and all the things. So I am moving into a condo, and I'm so excited.' She shared that the condo is in Nashville and that she'll be working with designer Kim Briggs of The Vibe Interiors to decorate the space. The reality star also teased some TikTok ideas inspired by the move, including a 'before and after' photoshoot and a vlog series with her friends about the Nashville night life. 'We are living life, and I just think there's so many new things to come. I cannot wait for you to see my living space,' she added. 'It is going to be so freaking cute!'

The mom of four, 33, is getting ready to make the switch from shore days to school days, telling PEOPLE about how she's preparing for the school year. "We have to get all of the toys out of our backpacks because we have packed in. I think they have thought since school ended in the spring that they have just been packing their backpack. It is chock full of like random [stuff]," she laughs. "I'm talking a wooden wedge of watermelon, like two toy cars, Play-Doh that has dried into spaghetti. Kylie introduced a short film, "Fans of Confidence," at the Saturday, Aug. 9 Gotham FC game. The film shows the pros of Gotham FC show up to cheer on girls in their youth programs — making them feel seen, celebrated and encouraged to stay in the game."It is so important to not only have your peers be lifting you up, but then to have coaches who are setting you up for success and making sure that they're supporting you in a way that helps you be confident, helps you stay in sport." Melissa McCarthy, husband Ben Falcone bring comedy to date night with 'Ghost' recreation
Melissa McCarthy may be a comedy legend, but she's got plenty of dramatic flair, too. McCarthy took to Instagram over the weekend to let followers in on an intimate date night with longtime husband (and fellow comic) Ben Falcone. In a carousel of photos posted Aug. 9, McCarthy showed off some homemade pottery she had crafted at Wild Clay, a studio just east of Los Angeles. The first several photos show the "Bridesmaids" star holding up her hands covered in clay, and posing with several of her projects, but the final shot is the most true to form – McCarthy, 54, and Falcone, 51, look comically serious as they recreate an iconic scene from the 1990 movie "Ghost." Meryl Streep, Melissa McCarthy shock 'Only Murders' co-stars, ditch stunt doubles for brawl McCarthy looks wistfully to the side as Falcone, seated behind her, has his hands overlaced with hers and looks straight into the camera. In the middle of them is the pottery wheel, the site of a sensual scene between Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze in the original film. "We had the BEST time at Wild Clay LA!!!!!!!," McCarthy wrote alongside the post. "Joshua was an amazing teacher. I really found my inner Demi!! Grand Opening Soon!!" The couple, who love to ham it up together, have been married since 2005 and share two daughters: Vivian, 18, and Georgette, 15. "He's nothing but supportive, and he's super smart," McCarthy previously told People of her husband. "He makes me gut-laugh, like crazy gut-laugh, four or five times a day. I hit the jackpot!" The couple has also shared the screen over a dozen times, starring alongside one another in films like "Bridesmaids," "Cook Off!" and "Identity Thief."
