Valentin Carboni and Francesco Pio Esposito are both part of the Inter squad at the Club World Cup.
The former recently turned twenty. Meanwhile, the latter turns twenty later this month.
But despite their age, the pair have already more than made their impact at the Club World Cup.
Both came off the bench against Urawa Red Diamonds on Saturday. And they both played a huge role in Inter's comeback victory.
Moreover, there is every chance of Carboni and Esposito also featuring in Inter's last group stage match. Watch Inter Milan vs River Plate for FREE with DAZN on any device!

And in particular Lautaro Martinez.
Then, coach Cristian Chivu has shown a great willingness to showcase both Carboni and Pio Esposito. In general, Inter have asked the Romanian to put his faith in youth.
Therefore, however far Inter make it at the Club World Cup, Carboni and Pio Esposito should have a role to play.
And therefore, reports La Repubblica, it can hardly be ruled out that either of the pair will impress enough to earn their place in Inter's future plans,

Jets owner Woody Johnson buys stake in Premier League's Crystal Palace
Woody Johnson is going international. The New York Jets owner has become a familiar face across the pond in recent years, having previously served as the United States ambassador to the United Kingdom during President Donald Trump's first administration. As the NFL's international marketing rights have expanded, teams began vying for exclusive shares of specific markets. Advertisement Johnson's Jets were awarded marketing rights to the UK, making it the green-and-whites' second home under the NFL Global Markets program. Eight other teams have those rights. Now Johnson is digging into the world's game, buying a stake in the Premier League's Crystal Palace. The move was announced by the soccer team on Monday, with ESPN reporting the 43% stake owned by John Textor was sold to Johnson for $254 million. 'Whilst the completion is pending approval from the Premier League and Women's Super League, we do not envisage any issues and look forward to welcoming Woody as a partner and director of the club,' the club said in a statement. Advertisement The sale will have to pass the league's Owners and Directors' Test, something that isn't expected to be a problem. Johnson bought the Jets for $635 million in 2000, an NFL record at the time. He now adds a second professional sports franchise to his portfolio, a trend that is becoming increasingly commonplace across pro sports. Johnson is set to join a Crystal Palace ownership group that includes Washington Commanders owners, Josh Harris and David Blitzer – who each own 18% of the club. The Jets owner previously attempted to buy Chelsea F.C. in 2022, noting he became a fan of the team during his time as ambassador. Now it appears Johnson will be trading in his Chelsea blue for Palace's red-and-blue. Crystal Palace confirm arrival of PSV goalkeeper Walter Benitez on free transfer
Crystal Palace have confirmed an agreement to sign goalkeeper Walter Benitez as a free agent when his PSV Eindhoven contract expires this month. The 32-year-old Argentina international, whose contract expires on June 30, is expected to provide cover for Dean Henderson and potentially compete for the No 1 spot. Advertisement Benitez made 134 PSV appearances over three seasons, in which he helped his side to silverware in each campaign, including a dramatic title defence in 2024-25 as PSV overcame a nine-point deficit to beat Ajax to top spot. The goalkeeper won the KNVB Cup in 2022-23 and the Johan Cruyff Shield in 2023 and 2024. Walter Benítez is Palace.#CPFC — Crystal Palace F.C. (@CPFC) June 23, 2025 Benitez previously made 188 appearances for Ligue 1 side Nice, and made his Argentina debut in March 2024 against Costa Rica. Benitez often features on the bench of his national team supporting Emiliano Martinez. FA Cup winners Palace had been looking to recruit a third senior goalkeeper after USMNT international Matt Turner's loan ended. Remi Matthews, who has made one first-team appearance since joining the club in 2021, signed a new two-year contract earlier in June. Young goalkeeper Owen Goodman has held talks with League One side Huddersfield Town over a potential loan move. The Athletic reported on June 10 that Ligue 1 side Lyon agreed an €8million (£6.74m) fee to sign Turner, who made four appearances for Palace on loan last season, from Nottingham Forest. Analysis from Thom Harris Benitez brings a wealth of experience between the sticks, a regular starter in goal for French top-flight side Nice across five seasons. In 2018-19, he was statistically the third-best shot-stopper in Europe's big five leagues, preventing almost 13 goals based on the quality of shots he faced. The Argentine also has European experience, starting all but one of PSV Eindhoven's Champions League games this season, while no player racked up more minutes for the Dutch side throughout their last two title-winning campaigns. Speaking to The Athletic in 2023, Benitez stressed the importance of keeping composed under pressure. He also spoke about his distribution, outlining his comfort with the ball at his feet and ability to switch up his game based on the opposition. The 32-year-old is a calming presence and can only serve to bolster Palace's goalkeeping depth.
