Aimee Lou Wood and Walton Goggins on ‘ridiculous' feud rumours
Aimee Lou Wood and Walton Goggins on 'ridiculous' feud rumours There has been speculation that the two co-stars had drifted apart after being on the HBO show, which follows the lives of guests and staff at a luxury resort as dark secrets are revealed and tensions rise over the course of the holiday White Lotus star Walton Goggins tearfully breaks silence on unfollowing Aimee Lou Wood (Image: HBO/SKY ) The White Lotus co-stars Aimee Lou Wood and Walton Goggins have both denied rumours that either of them are in a feud as "ridiculous". There has been speculation that the two co-stars had drifted apart after being on the HBO show, which follows the lives of guests and staff at a luxury resort as dark secrets are revealed and tensions rise over the course of the holiday. The third series sees the positive Chelsea, played by British actress Wood, 31, try to keep her mysterious older boyfriend, Rick, played by 53-year-old US actor Goggins, calm in Thailand. Following the 2025 series, Goggins appeared to step away from his fellow co-stars, and unfollow Greater Manchester-born Wood on Instagram. They both addressed the swirling rumours during a joint interview for US publication Variety, which was published on Wednesday. Goggins said: "There is no feud. I adore, I love this woman (Aimee) madly, and she is so important to me." Article continues below He added that "she's special", and explained he had not addressed the reports before as he did not want to talk about Wood when she was not there. "I think it's such a comment on where we're at culturally. Why is everyone obsessing over Instagram? That is irrelevant. We don't give a shite about Instagram," Wood said. Goggins said that when he finished The White Lotus he "needed to just back away from everyone", as it is his "process" when filming a project ends. "It's all so ridiculous," he said. "It's just a part of me just saying goodbye to this character so that now Aimee and I will be friends for f****** ever." Wood previously criticised a Saturday Night Live sketch, with an cast member impersonating her with exaggerated prosthetic teeth, calling it "mean and unfunny" on Instagram. She told Variety that it "felt misogynistic. It felt like the punchline was a woman's appearance, which is just not funny. It's not cool". Goggins shared the same sketch online and praised Jon Hamm for playing a version of his character, before deleting the Instagram post, ahead of hosting SNL> He said he was "gonna say it (something) to your face", and added: "I don't use social media in any way, and I'm not a mean guy." SNL apologised for the April sketch, according to Wood, and the comedian and cast member who impersonated her, Sarah Sherman, sent her flowers to apologise. Wood is also known for Netflix teen show Sex Education, BBC comedy Daddy Issues and the 2022 drama film Living with Bill Nighy. Goggins has been in Western series Justified, post-apocalyptic series Fallout, and drama Sons Of Anarchy. Article continues below He has had two Emmy nods, while Wood has won a TV Bafta for Sex Education and been given a Rising Star Bafta nomination.

More info Scottish Love Island star Laura Anderson has opened up on her health struggles while enjoying a holiday with her footballer boyfriend. The 36-year-old has shared moments from their break in the Maldives at the luxury Kandima beach resort. Taking to Instagram, the mum has spoken up about her battle with melasma, a common skin condition in adults which can cause darkening of the skin caused by increased melanin, reports The Record. "Off to see my laser guru @rebeccatreston @ Please sort out my melasma I've missed you." She also asked her followers if they would like treatment recommendations or advice, if anyone may be suffering from a similar skin condition. "Do you suffer from pigmentation/melasma/sun spots?," she asked. "Okay guys I have been in the sun all day, always wear my factor 50 and my hat but I think with melasma you still get affected with just the heat so I always try and keep my face really cool. "That's a tip that I learnt, but I'm going to see Rebecca now but look," she gestured as she pointed her face towards the camera. "I don't know if you can see this all kind of multiplied again come back, this is me completely bare faced." She continued: "You can see it here there's definitely a difference between freckles. I love freckles, love to embrace them, but sun spots, melasma, pigmentation is different and can be quite ageing. (Image: Instagram) "I quite like the little bits on my lips but I just want to remove that and Rebecca has all the best lasers in Dubai," as she gestured to her cheekbones. "She always teaches me things and has new techniques that I've never heard of before which are incredibly effective." The star added: "So we are going to go today with pico, really quick easy. I don't think there's any down time so yeah, let's get rid of this." Elsewhere, Laura took to Instagram last week following her house move in a gushing post over how lucky she is in her new home alongside daughter Bonnie, who she shares with ex Gary Lucy. She also gave a special mention to boyfriend Clark, 31. "Busy and booked, The Man of my dreams and a daughter to die for. I never ever thought I'd have all 3," Laura wrote. Jamie Oliver says there's one ingredient you should use to cook the best steak
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, famed as The Naked Chef and face of Channel 4 cookery shows, has spilled the beans on crafting the ultimate steak. If you're looking to woo your significant other with a steak dinner at home, Jamie insists there's no need to douse your sirloin in pricey cooking oils or unhealthy fats. In a tutorial on his YouTube channel, Jamie shared his tip for achieving 'delicious, melt in your mouth' sirloin using nothing but the steak's own fat. Dispensing with the need for additional oil, Jamie advises trimming the steak's fat, dicing it finely, and letting it supply its natural essence. READ MORE - Man who knew Madeleine McCann suspect makes dramatic plea to police during search READ MORE - Scottish Love Island star Laura Anderson opens up on 'health struggle' on holiday The culinary maestro said: "We're gonna cook a beautiful steak for date night, steak night." Describing his method, Jamie expressed: "It's really quick, it's really delicious, I wanna share with you a brilliant technique for making the perfect sirloin steak, tender, melt in your mouth, cut like butter.", reports the Express. He began by prepping a non-stick skillet on medium flame, then tackled the beef sirloin. Jamie proposed: "What I would suggest to do is pull this fat off, and this fat is really really important, it's going to give you the flavour. "But what we don't want is that sinew. That really tough bit that you kind of push to the side. "It's a real pain. "So what I love to do is slice [the fat] up into little chunks, and render it down. So instead of putting butter or oil in this pan, we're going to cook the steak in the steak fat. "Then get the knife and cut off the piece of sinew. Get rid of that." He then said you fry the cut up fat, add cloves of garlic, which will flavour the fat. Then season the steak with black pepper and sea salt, and pat it in. He added: "What I'm doing is one thicker steak for two people, and cook it medium rare." Before adding the steak to the pan, throw in some spring onions, and slice open two red chillis, taking care to remove the seeds first so it's not too spicy. Once that's sizzled for a while, take it all out of the pan, and put the steak in. The pan will already have natural beef juices in from the fat. Jamie added: "When pan-frying a steak, do it a minute on each side until it's cooked to your liking. "Whether it's well done, medium, medium rare, rare, whatever you like. For me medium rare is what I'm after, about three minutes on each side." When you take it out, place it on top of the spring onions and chillis you removed earlier. For those feeling really daring, you can also blend up a sauce using the rest of your chillis, spring onions and add jarred peppers, and serve the steak sliced up on top, Jamie added.
