Javed Akhtar says daughter Zoya is a tougher taskmaster than son Farhan Akhtar: ‘Dono alag tarah ke films banate hain'

Lyricist Javed Akhtar is one of the most prolific writers in the industry and has worked with several directors in the course of his decades-long career in Bollywood. In an interview with The Lallantop, Javed was asked about the experience of working with his children, Zoya Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar, on their respective films. Javed candidly shared how it is never easy when it is with them. (Also read: Kangana Ranaut gave written apology, asked Javed Akhtar in court: 'Aap meri agli picture mein gaane likhenge?') During the interaction, when Javed was asked about which one of the two is a tougher taskmaster, he said, 'Dusro ke liye kaam karna asaan hain apne bachho ke liye bada mushkil hain. Unko aisa nahi hai ki hamara baap hain toh hum kuch kahe nahin. Humein toh kuch kehna hi hain. Zoya tough taskmaster hai (It is easier to work with others than with my own children. They will not spare me just because I am their father. They will say something. Zoya is the tough taskmaster).' He went on to add how their films are so different from one another. 'Dono hoshiyaar hain aur dono alag-alag tarah ke film banate hain. Common nahi hain. Ab jis tarah ki film Farhan banate hain Zoya nahi bana sakti. Jis tarah ki Zoya banayi hain Farhan nahi bana sakta. Unka definitely alag-alag school hain. Both of them are doing well (The two of them know their work and make different films. They are not common. The kind of films Farhan makes cannot be made by Zoya and vice versa. They definitely come from different schools).' Farhan is all set to make Don 3 with Ranveer Singh. Meanwhile, Zoya co-produced the feature film Superboys of Malegaon and the docu-series Angry Young Men, which was based on Salim-Javed. Her last directorial venture was Netflix's The Archies.

Squid Game's Lee Jung-jae Admits Feeling ‘Very Nervous' About Season 3

Last Updated: Even though Lee Jung-jae is eager to know what fans think, he is also a bit anxious about their reaction. Lee Jung-jae, who plays Seong Gi-hun (player 456) in the global hit Squid Game, has opened up about his mixed feelings ahead of the show's highly anticipated third season. At Netflix's Tudum event, the actor revealed he is 'very nervous" about how fans will react to the new season's storyline. After his character's intense journey from winning the deadly games in season one to facing tough setbacks in season two, Lee is eager but anxious to see if viewers will embrace what's next. The third season is set to continue the thrilling saga, with fans worldwide waiting with bated breath. Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Lee Jung-jae said, 'We are going to be releasing quite soon, I am very nervous. I know that a lot of you out there are curious about what's going to happen in season three, but all of us are more curious about how much you're going to enjoy it. So I can't wait, I'm very nervous." Lee Byung-hun, who plays the mysterious Front Man in Squid Game, shared that he read the scripts for both seasons two and three together. He found the story very well written and full of suspense. He also said that he was once again amazed by the director Hwang Dong-hyuk's talent and the way the story was planned. Revealing his feelings about Squid Game season 3's ending, Lee added, 'I'm happy with how it ended but I know that the fans out there, they each have what they want to see happen, so I really am curious about how they're going to respond to it. And I'm very nervous to find out." As per Tudum, 'Squid Game Season 3 picks up in the aftermath of Season 2's bloody cliffhanger. Although Gi-hun is at his lowest point yet, the Squid Game stops for no one. So Gi-hun will be forced to make some important choices in the face of overwhelming despair as he and the surviving players are thrust into deadlier games that test everyone's resolve. With each round, their choices lead to increasingly grave consequences." Other than Lee Jung-jae and Lee Byung-hun, the upcoming season, which is scheduled to start streaming from June 27, will also feature Wi Ha-jun, Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Jo Yuri, Lee David, Roh Jae-won and Park Gyu-young. Diddy trial: 3 new celebrity names come up as ex-assistant Mia makes damning revelations

Three new celebrity names have come up during Sean 'Diddy' Combs' federal sex-trafficking and racketeering trial. The names came up during the testimony of Diddy's ex-assistant Mia, who worked for the rapper from 2009 to 2017. Mia's text messages about A-listers were shown to jurors. Mia, who testified anonymously under the pseudonym, texted the Bad Boy Records founder on March 8, 2019, asking him to watch the Netflix show 'Love' by director Judd Apatow, the New York Post reported. In another text Mia sent Diddy on May 14, 2020, she spoke about the death of record executive and media mogul Andre Harrell, the man who is often credited with discovering the 'I'll Be Missing You' rapper. 'Puff my heart is broken about Dre. I've spent all week crying for you as well," Mia texted Diddy. Mia later also texted Diddy about actor Chad Boseman's death. Diddy replied, "How are you? Yeah, life is crazy." Mia shared various other details about Diddy during the trial. At one point, she said that Diddy placed a tracking device on his on-and-off girlfriend Cassie Ventura's car. "He's stolen my phone many times, he's stolen Cassie's phone many times," Mia told the jury. "He's put tracking devices on her car. I'm not sure what he's capable of. I was terrified.' Mia told the jury that Diddy allegedly sexually assaulted her multiple times. Diddy's defense attorney Brian Steel pressed Mia about why she did not accuse the rapper of sexual assault during settlement talks in 2017 for unpaid wages. Mia claimed that she originally asked for $10 million for bonuses, severance and overtime that Diddy allegedly owed her, and never paid. However, she settled during mediation for $400,000 – an amount that was split with her attorneys in 2017. Mia further claimed that she did not know that sexual assault could be used in settlement negotiations, adding that it was in 2024 that she discussed the sex assault claims with prosecutors for the first time.
