J-Hope Keeps His Winning Streak Going With Another Hot 100 Smash
J-Hope debuts 'Mona Lisa' at No. 65 on the Hot 100, marking his seventh solo entry and third new hit ... More of 2025—his biggest year yet on the U.S. charts. J-Hope isn't letting 2025 pass without making sure everyone knows it's his year. The BTS superstar has been on a roll lately, and this week, he adds yet another win to his growing list of solo smashes. His brand new single 'Mona Lisa' debuts on the Hot 100, helping him make history yet again.
As the track arrives, it adds to a recent hot streak that has seen the singer and rapper land on the chart almost monthly throughout this year. That consistent success is especially notable considering how long it's taken him to rack up even just a few wins on the most competitive songs ranking in the U.S.
J-Hope returns to the Hot 100 this week with his latest release, 'Mona Lisa,' which opens at No. 65. This latest song marks his seventh time appearing on the list, which ranks the most-consumed songs in the U.S. across streaming, sales, and radio play.
Seven Hot 100 hits is an impressive feat on its own, but what's even more incredible is how many of those smashes have come in just this year. Of J-Hope's total solo charting tracks, three have debuted in 2025 alone, including one in each of the past three months.
He kicked things off with 'LV Bag,' a collaboration where he was credited as a featured artist. That tune, fronted by Don Toliver and Speedy, which also features Pharrell Williams, opened at No. 83. Not long after, he rose even higher with 'Sweet Dreams,' a duet with Miguel, which entered the Hot 100 at No. 66 before slipping off.
Now 'Mona Lisa' has managed to beat 'Sweet Dreams' by just a single rung, becoming J-Hope's highest-debuting solo cut of the year so far.
J-Hope first appeared on the Hot 100 all the way back in October 2019. He was joined by Becky G on 'Chicken Noodle Soup,' which reached No. 81. At the time, it was a groundbreaking moment, as very few K-pop soloists had ever landed on the tally.
It wasn't until 2022 that he returned to the list with two tracks from his Jack in the Box album. 'More' and 'Arson' each spent a single week on the Hot 100, arriving at Nos. 82 and 96, respectively. Then, in March 2023, 'On the Street' with J. Cole debuted at No. 60, and that still stands as his highest-charting solo cut to date.
J-Hope hasn't yet explained what this steady stream of releases is leading up to, but fans are hoping it's part of a bigger plan. While 'LV Bag' could easily be part of a future Toliver's project, both 'Sweet Dreams' and 'Mona Lisa' are credited to J-Hope as a lead act, and they may very well be part of a forthcoming EP or full-length…but for now, though, the South Korean powerhouse is keeping quiet.

The "ultimate hips" by Kardashian's billion-dollar shapewear brand are designed with soft foam pads embedded at the hip to form an hourglass figure that accentuates a person's curves. The hips are shaped at the mid-thigh with elastic along the waist and feature a raw cut leg opening, according to a press release from Skims. Kardashian's ultimate hip shapewear will run for $108 and will be available for purchase on Thursday, June 5. The product harkens back to another Skims item. Despite criticism and mockery, the nipple bras found a loyal community of people who have or had breast cancer and lost their nipples in an attempt to save their lives. That year, the nipple push-up bra sold out and was restocked on the Skims website multiple times. J-Hope Scores At The Box Office, Earning A Top 10 Movie — After One Night
J-Hope's Hope on the Stage live viewing earns $4.1 million globally, breaking into the U.S. box ... More office top 10 for the May 30 to June 1 weekend. PARIS, FRANCE - JANUARY 20: J-Hope of BTS is seen outside Dior, during the Paris Fashion Week - Menswear Fall Winter 2023 2024 : Day Four on January 20, 2023 in Paris, France. (Photo by) J-Hope has spent 2025 releasing solo smash after solo smash, with only short breaks in between his drops. He has scored several new Hot 100 hits in just the past few months, and he has a new tune coming soon — one that will likely become a charting success as well. The BTS singer and rapper hasn't limited himself to streaming platforms and digital download storefronts when looking for commercial success. The South Korean musician recently appeared in cinemas around the world with a one-night-only event — one that helped him secure one of the top theatrical wins at the box office. The BTS superstar recently released his film J-Hope Tour: 'Hope on the Stage' in Japan - Live Viewing. The one-night-only event brought fans of the singer-songwriter and rapper together in theaters around the globe to watch live as he performed from Osaka during one of the final dates of his solo trek, the Hope on the Stage Tour. Despite the fact that the live viewing took place during just one evening, it still managed to bring in an impressive sum at the box office and stand out as a top performer. According to Box Office Mojo, J-Hope's film earned just under $940,000 at the box office in the U.S. alone. That figure is enough for the movie to land at No. 10 on the list of the highest-grossing films in America during the weekend of May 30 through June 1. When looking globally, the live viewing brought in just over $4.1 million. More than three-quarters of that figure coming from territories outside the U.S. J-Hope claims the third loftiest debut on the ranking of the top-grossing films in America during that weekend. He lands behind new arrivals Karate Kid: Legends and Bring Her Back, which brought in $20.3 million and $7 million, respectively. The weekend's grosses were still dominated by the live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch, which led the charge for a second consecutive frame with nearly $62 million. The last installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise holds steady at No. 2 with $27.2 million. A top-grossing film is just another feather in J-Hope's cap, proving that 2025 is a huge year for him. He has already accrued three Hot 100 hits, upping his career total considerably with "LV Bag" alongside Don Toliver, Speedy, and Pharrell Williams, "Sweet Dreams" with Miguel and his own "Mona Lisa" — all of which spent time on the tally. Later in June, he will drop "Killing It Girl" featuring rapper GloRilla, which will almost certainly become a hit across a variety of Billboard rankings, especially those focused on hip-hop.

This 'And Just Like That' Star Went Pantless on the Red Carpet—But She Wasn't the First One
Sarita Choudhury has officially gotten in on the popular pantless trend. Making an appearance at the And Just Like That… Season Three Photocall at Hotel Napoleon in Paris on Thursday afternoon, the actress was seen wearing a svelte black long sleeve crepe cocktail dress with a deep v-neck, which she paired with matching sheer black tights. The dress, which nailed the no-pants theme we've been seeing in fashion over the past couple of months, was complemented by a pair of patent leather pointed-toe pumps, which included a dramatized triangular upper. Marc Piasecki/WireImage/Getty Images Keeping her makeup simple, Choudhury sleeked her hair into a side ponytail style that elegantly framed her face. Choudhury isn't the only one who's decided less is more when it comes to their outfit choices as of late. Nicole Kidman has been a leader of the no-pants revolution, posting a video of herself on Instagram in April where she could be seen wearing a long-sleeve black bodysuit that featured a plunging V-neck, which she accessorized with sheer black tights. The clip was set to Lorde's dreamy track, "What Was That," adding to the effortlessly cool vibe as her long blonde locks flowed into the air. Marc Piasecki/WireImage/Getty Images Mindy Kaling also recently stepped out in a jaw-dropping, fiery red blazer dress that highlighted her legs with sky-high red stilettos for the ultimate monochromatic moment, and legendary Olympian Simone Biles went pantless for the cover of Netflix Queue's Issue 20 in a red bodysuit that ditched the bottoms completely. As for the latest season of And Just Like That…, Season three makes its debut today with the episode "Outlook Good." New episodes will be released weekly on Thursdays, with the finale set to air on August 14.
