Some of the biggest names in Hollywood have attended the Cannes Film Festival throughout the week, including a special appearance from legendary actress June Squibb.
The 95-year-old actress hasn't allowed her age to stop her from continuing with her career, appearing in Scarlett Johansson's directorial debut, Eleanor the Great.

The film—also starring Chiwetel Ejiofor and Erin Kellyman—scored a five-minute standing ovation at the French event, as it gains early buzz for the powerful storyline and intergenerational casting.
The Good Girls actress also turned heads as she ditched her wheelchair to walk the red carpet alongside Johannson and Kellyman.
Donning a colorful floral kimono with black pants, the iconic actress used a cane as she posed for photos, holding hands with her castmates for additional support. While attending the film's screening the day before, Squibb opted for a floral black gown.
Per Variety, Johansson said premiering the film at Cannes is 'really a dream come true," adding that it's a film "about friendship, it's about grief, it's about forgiveness. And I think those are all themes that we can use a lot more of these days.'The drama piece finds Squibb as the eponymous title lead, who moves from Florida to New York City for a fresh start after the death of her best friend and learns that "making new friends at ninety proves difficult."
"Longing for connection, she befriends a 19-year-old student," the synopsis notes.
As for how Squibb feels about her status in the industry, she previously told The Hollywood Reporter, "If I'm called 'icon' one more time, I'm going to scream,' noting that the attention gets a little ridiculous at times: "A 70-year-old will say, 'I want to be you when I grow up!'"
Squibb began her career with a Broadway debut in Gypsy in 1959, was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2013 for the film Nebraska, and landed her first leading role in an action comedy just last year in Thelma.

Walton Goggins And Aimee Lou Wood Break Silence On Feud Rumours

Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood have given a joint interview in which they addressed the media scrutiny they've been under in the last few months. The pair were co-stars in the most recent season of The White Lotus, but found themselves at the centre of speculation when it was spotted that they were no longer following one another on Instagram just before the finale aired. In fact, it even appeared that Walton had gone as far as blocking Aimee on the platform, although both parties had still been speaking favourably about one another at the time, most notably in separate social media posts, which were soundtracked by the Fleetwood Mac anthem Silver Springs. Walton then failed to join most of the cast at a viewing party for the White Lotus finale, in which both he and Aimee played pivotal roles. During a new interview with Variety, Walton put his absence down to his busy schedule as he had been filming the new season of Fallout. However, he told Aimee as part of their joint interview: 'I wish I would have been able to watch this with you. It was so cathartic and so painful, and I regret that. I really do.' Walton later added: 'There is no feud. I adore, I love this woman madly, and she is so important to me. '[She] is Goldie Hawn. [She] is Meg Ryan. She can do anything, and she will. You watch what the next 20 years of her experience will be.' 'We care about each other very deeply,' he added. The Emmy nominee also said that he'd chosen not to dispel the feud reports during a now-infamous interview with The Times because he didn't want to 'speak for both of us' when Aimee wasn't present. Similarly, she chose to remain schtum on the 'feud' reports until now because she felt anything she said would be misconstrued, instead opting to 'sit back and watch these people making something out of absolutely nothing'. HBO As for his unfollowing Aimee on Instagram, Walton put this down to wanting to put some distance between himself and The White Lotus once the show was over. 'I knew what we had gone through, and I knew how close that we had gotten, and I needed to begin to process saying goodbye to Rick and Chelsea,' he said, apparently beginning to tear up. 'And I knew that that was going to take a while for me, so I let her know, this is what I've gotta do. And she was extremely supportive about that.' It's noted in Variety 's piece that Walton had more of a personal connection to Thailand than most of the rest of the cast, as he went travelling near where The White Lotus was filmed years earlier after his first wife died by suicide. Branding the media furore 'ridiculous', he concluded: 'I'm emotional because we haven't been in the same city to ever talk about this. So for me, this is just so wonderful.' Variety noted that the interview took place on the first weekend of May, shortly before both actors walked the red carpet separately at this year's Met Gala. Since then, Walton's wife Nadia Conners has also spoken out about rumours of an affair between her husband and his White Lotus co-star, which she took in good humour.

‘Top Chef' begins its 2-part finale tonight — and these 2 Chicago chefs are in it

Warning: spoilers ahead for the first 12 episodes of Season 22 of 'Top Chef.' Two Chicago chefs have fought long and hard to make it to the 'Top Chef' season finale, which airs June 5 and concludes June 12 on Bravo. César Murillo, executive chef at North Pond, and Bailey Sullivan, executive chef at Monteverde, qualified for the finals, alongside Shuai Wang, chef/owner of Jackrabbit Filly and King BBQ in North Charleston, South Carolina, and Tristen Epps, chef/owner of Epps & Flows Culinary in Houston. This season, subtitled 'Destination: Canada,' started with 15 chefs and was narrowed down week by week until the final four competitors. 'Top Chef' Season 10 winner Kristen Kish hosts this season, joined by judges Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons. Murillo had a strong showing all season with a focus on vegetables, playful plating and ingenuity. Though his team lost the elimination challenge in the sixth episode and were thus ineligible for a win, Colicchio called Murillo's bread and butter pickle curd with dill ice cream one of the best dishes he'd ever had on the show. Epps, who has won by far the most challenges this season, called Murillo a 'monster in creativity.' By her own admission, Sullivan's journey was a bit rockier, though she grew in confidence as time went on. She was eliminated in the second episode for her maple tart, but clawed her way back into the main competition by winning four challenges in a row in Last Chance Kitchen, a secondary competition for eliminated chefs. A third Chicago chef, Zubair Mohajir, founder and executive chef of Lilac Tiger, Coach House and Mirra, had a strong showing early in the season, winning the second episode's elimination challenge with a tandoori fried chicken dish, which appeared on the menu at Lilac Tiger. In the fourth episode, the James Beard-nominated chef was eliminated, to the surprise of many — it was his only time at the bottom. In Last Chance Kitchen, he met his Chicago peer, Sullivan, and both fought hard for a chance to rejoin the competition. Sullivan expressed her respect for Mohajir's talent. 'I've been impressed by both of you,' said Colicchio as he was judging their showdown of savory and sweet. 'Zubair, I was quite frankly surprised to see you just this early here, based on some of the earlier challenges. And Bailey, in Last Chance Kitchen, you've been cooking really well.' Eventually, he picked Sullivan's pork and panna cotta dishes over Mohajir's scallops and French toast to win, though it was close. Sullivan was emotional and energized to return to the main competition. Throughout her time on the show, she dug into her experience cooking foods from different cuisines at influential Chicago restaurants, including Italian at Monteverde and Asian and Korean at Parachute. 'I came into this doubting myself,' she said on Last Chance Kitchen. The mini-competition changed her view and encouraged her to cook food she loves. 'Bailey looks like a whole different person,' Epps said. 'She looks like she wants to cook and destroy.' Sullivan rejoined the main competition in the fifth episode, where she and Epps won the team elimination challenge with fire-kissed grilled octopus with olives. These 3 Chicago chefs compete on the new season of 'Top Chef'Murillo was also eliminated in the ninth episode, but immediately returned to the competition by winning the second half of Last Chance Kitchen. On his return in the 10th episode, he won his first Quickfire Challenge and $10,000 by making popcorn grits with limited tools and convenience store ingredients. He frequently referenced his pride and excitement to share his successes with his mother and team from back home. In an interview with the Tribune before the season premiere, Murillo said the Chicago chefs were all rooting for each other. Sullivan described herself as a 'very Chicago proud person' and that she was thrilled to represent her city. If Sullivan or Murillo make it to the end, it wouldn't be the first time a Chicago chef has won; Stephanie Izard and Joe Flamm were both crowned Top Chef of their seasons and Rick Bayless won the first season of 'Top Chef Masters.' This time around, the winning chef will have the opportunity to present at the James Beard Awards in Chicago on June 16. They will also win $250,000, a feature in Food & Wine magazine and other perks. This Chicago chef just won season two of Food Network's '24 in 24: Last Chef Standing'

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Yulissa Escobar's sudden exit from Love Island USA during the second episode of Season 7 has stirred speculation among fans. The departure, shown without context or explanation, left her co-stars and viewers in the dark. The twist was revealed with show narrator Iain Stirling announcing "Yulissa has left the villa" about 18 minutes into the show, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Yulissa, who had been coupled up with Ace Greene, was then noticeably absent from the villa. What we know What the show didn't mention—but what fans already knew—was that Yulissa had come under fire online after old podcast clips surfaced revealing a use of racial slurs. In the recordings, which spread across social media as the show launched on Tuesday night, Yulissa can be heard using the N-word multiple times while discussing past relationships, as first reported by TMZ. Episode 2 delivered on the drama promised in the season premiere, picking up right where host Ariana Madix left viewers hanging—with the introduction of two new Bombshells, Cierra Ortega and Charlie Georgiou. After a round of raised hands from interested Islanders, Cierra and Charlie each selected one contestant for an overnight hideaway date: Nicolas Vansteenberghe and Chelley Bissainthe. Sparks flew, with Nicolas and Cierra sharing a kiss. The villa also saw its first moments of tension. Jeremiah Brown confronted Huda Mustafa over whether she kissed another contestant during a game. After clearing the air in the morning, their relationship appeared back on track. Meanwhile, Taylor Williams and Olandria Carthen navigated a similar hiccup with ease when she admitted to kissing Ace Greene. As the day progressed, the Bombshells made their rounds, getting to know the rest of the cast. Jeremiah stayed loyal to Huda, despite a chat with Cierra, and Belle-A Walker gracefully handled Nicolas breaking the news about his new connection.
