Miley Cyrus stuns in black minidress during Paris trip amid fears of Billy Ray's romance threatening comeback
Miley Cyrus stepped out in Paris in a look from Alaia that was as futuristic as her outfit earlier in the day was retro.
The Wrecking Ball singer, 32, was seen earlier in the day in Saint Germain de Pres in an off-the-shoulder black minidress with sheer black hose and black pumps.
The long-sleeved frock was reminiscent of the 80s and looked great on Miley's fit frame.
She wore her hair down and in loose waves during that outing. She wore a pair of black sunglasses.
Later in the day, the Hanna Montana alum wore a long black puffer coat that was belted at the waist with the same Wayfarer style sunglasses.
This time, Miley's hair was pulled back into a sleek ponytail.
The sighting comes after the news broke that her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, 63, is dating English actress Elizabeth Hurley, 59.
It also comes as Miley is getting ready to release her new album, Something Beautiful on May 30.
Miley and Billy Ray are estranged and the timing of his going public with his romance could hurt her album release.
Miley's rarely-seen boyfriend Maxx Morando made a surprise appearance in the music video for her latest single End Of The World which dropped on Thursday.
The Grammy winner, 32 - who is preparing to drop her ninth studio album Something Beautiful next month on May 30 - has been dating the drummer of the rock band Lilly since 2021.
The video accompanying the upbeat track showed the star performing on a stage that was backlit with various golden lights.
While holding a microphone in her hand as she belted out lyrics to the song, Cyrus also made her way over towards Morando, 26, playing the drums and whose face was never clearly shown.
At one point, the former Disney channel star could be seen laying in front of the drum set during the performance.
Cyrus and Morando first began dating after they went on a blind date back in 2021 and their romance was officially confirmed the following year.
During an interview with British Vogue in 2023, the actress expressed: 'Well, it was blind for me and not really for him. I thought, "The worst that can happen is I leave."'
The couple mainly keep their relationship out of the public eye, but have been spotted at a few recent events.
Last month, Miley and Maxx were seen walking the red carpet together at the 97th Annual Academy Awards in Hollywood. Later that evening, the pair also stopped by Vanity Fair Oscars Party.
The two stars also attended the SNL50: The Anniversary Special in NYC in February as well as the Homecoming Concert alongside Miley's mother Tish Cyrus.
Miley has been open about their six-year age gap and told Harper's Bazaar last year, 'He looks at life really differently than I do.
'He grew up with a laptop. I had a desktop computer that I shared with my brothers and sisters...Honestly, he's raised our dog off Reddit.'
The Flowers hitmaker added, 'I'm like, "Are you sure we're supposed to be doing this?" And he's like, "On Reddit it says blah, blah, blah." He's very similar to me. We just don't take life too seriously.'
Miley and her dad have been estranged for a few years
Cyrus was previously married to actor Chris Hemsworth from 2018 until their divorce in 2020.
Miley is counting down the days until she drops her upcoming ninth studio album Something Beautiful on May 30.
In late March Miley dropped the tracks Prelude and Something Beautiful that are also from the LP along with accompanying music videos.
Miley announced that the music video for End Of The World dropped by sharing a snippet to her main Instagram page.
The caption read: 'Miley Cyrus unveils "End of the World," the first official single off of her highly anticipated album, Something Beautiful, out May 30 via Columbia Records. The new single "End of the World" out now.'
Something Beautiful will contain a total of 13 tracks and follows her 2023 album titled Endless Summer Vacation.

When you're fighting crime, is it better with a rhyme?
If just one of our reporters had graduated primary school, there truly would be no stopping us. We are told of a Glasgow high school where A Midsummer Night's Dream is taught in the English department, and one young scholar submitted an essay which partially focused on the part in the play where Hippolyta says to Theseus, 'and then the moon, like to a silver bow new-bent in heaven, shall behold the night of our solemnities.' Only the young scholar had written in his essay, 'the night of our solemn nighties.' His teacher, reading this, concluded: 'Much better to have a jolly nighty.' Angus odd In the Highlands and Islands children are often named after their grandparents, reader Hugh Campbell explains. However, if a girl in the family has already been assigned the grandmother's name, the next girl born is then named after the grandfather, with the name slightly altered. So Murdo becomes Murdina. Says Hugh: 'My late father's cousin was named after her grandfather, Angus. Unfortunately when her father registered the birth, he missed out the 'us', and she was registered as Angina.' Perhaps unsurprisingly, adds Hugh, she adopted the far more conventional moniker, Jean. Present imperfect It's the birthday of reader Bill Hislop's wife next week. 'She's been leaving jewellery catalogues all over the house,' says Bill. 'So I know what to buy her for the big day… a magazine rack.' Orientalism On a recent holiday, Bill Galloway visited San Francisco with his wife and 12-year-old son, Robert, and they found themselves in that city's Chinatown district. Robert was fascinated by the oriental food and culture on display, so Bill explained that many of the world's great cities have a Chinatown, including London. Robert thought about this for a moment, before asking: 'Does Beijing have a Chinatown?' What a drag The internet isn't just a bunch of tiny pixelated dots that flicker on your mobile phone and computer screen. It also has similar properties to the tornado that dragged Dorothy all the way to Oz. One minute you're browsing the net, searching for important info. And the next minute? Sydney's soap is described as 'a perfect combination of the two best places on the planet: The outdoors and Sydney Sweeney's bathtub.' While its ingredients include pine, earthy moss and 'a touch of Sydney's very own bathwater'. Sweeney took to Instagram to tell her followers, 'You kept asking about my bathwater after the @drsquatch ad… so we kept it. 'Introducing Sydney's Bathwater Bliss! A very real, very limited-edition soap made with my actual bathwater.' The Hollywood actor often faces unsolicited comments about her body from fans — some of whom have even expressed their desire to consume her bath water. Dr. Squatch has also announced a giveaway of 100 bars of the limited edition soap. Reddit users had a mixed reaction to the news of the soap infused with used bath water. Reddit user Alone-Strain said: 'At the height of KISSmania in the 70's. MARVEL published KISS comic books, they claimed that the red ink was mixed with a drop of blood from each of the band members. 'Same gimmick today.' Shortbus_playboy said: 'This is awesome. They figured out how to get Redditors to bathe.' Sweeney, who also starred in The White Lotus TV series and who is due to play Millie in the film adaptation of the best-selling novel The Housemaid, first partnered with the men's personal care company last year in a viral ad that featured her in a bathtub. Her new soap is made with exfoliating sand and pine bark extract in addition to some of Sweeney's real bathwater. 'It's weird in the best way, and I love that we created something that's not just unforgettable, it actually smells incredible and delivers like every other Dr. Squatch product I love,' she added. 'Hopefully, this helps guys wake up to the realities of conventional personal care products and pushes them towards natural.' Only 5,000 bars of the actor's soap will be made. In an interview with GQ, Sweeney further explained the process of making the soap. 'When we were at the shoot, they had a tub for me. And I actually got in there and I took some soap, and we had a nice little bath and they took the water. So it's my real bath water,' she confirmed. 'I wanted to have it lean towards my home roots, so there's this really outdoorsy scent of, like, pine and earthy moss and fir. So it smells super manly. But then there's some city bath water mixed in.'

Netflix users threaten to cancel subscription after 'diabolical' new update leaves them fuming
Netflix has been globally rolling out a new interface on the platform which unimpressed viewers have described as a "big step backwards". Netflix subscribers have been left unimpressed by a fresh update on the platform's user interface. The streaming giant has started introducing subscribers to an updated app from May 19, vowing to bring "better recommendations and an improved interface that highlights what matters most to you", with high hopes pinned on this latest revamp. The update features a sleek, contemporary design and boasts features like tailored suggestions and enhanced shortcuts to much-loved shows. However, it seems that Netflix, who has around 300m users, has left some of their fans frustrated by their new home page model with some even threatening to ditch their subscription in protest. One subscriber fumed as they took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to write: "Netflix's update is diabolical where the hell is the coming soon section!!" Another equally irritated user chimed in: "Whoever's job it was to update Netflix UI, I'm praying for a resignation in the coming weeks. IT LOOKS TERRIBLE." Adding to the chorus of dissatisfaction, someone else remarked "[...] the NEW Netflix Update has somehow made the UI like 10000x worse, the Express reports. "It hurts my brain when I try and search new shows etc. Am I overreacting or do others not like the new UI?" Other members have also taken to Reddit to vent their frustrations. One disgruntled user penned: "It's awful. My TV updated to it automatically this week after putting off the update for ages, now it's a load of rubbish. Will be cancelling [my] subscription." A second agreed: "It's soo dire. You can't find anything. "It was so slick and easy to use before. Now it's soo clunky. I'm always willing to try new ideas, but this is a big step backwards." A third person went as far to say: "Thinking I might actually now cancel my subscription." Amid the rising backlash against the new design, a number of subscribers have rallied on to petition that Netflix reverts to its previous interface. The description outlines the grievance: "The new layout only allows users to see a sparse selection of 3 or 4 titles per screen, compared to the previously user-friendly layout of 20 or more titles. "This change not only limits variety and accessibility but also diminishes the ease-of-use Netflix was renowned for." Netflix's chief product officer, Eunice Kim, backed the revised design in May, saying: "We wanted to create an experience that was more flexible for our broad entertainment offerings, more intuitive and responsive to our members' needs, and capable of elevating the most thrilling moments on Netflix. Despite the negative feedback, other users on Reddit have pointed out that Netflix still excels compared to many other streaming platforms. However, subscribers may now need to delve deeper into data about their preferred series, encompassing everything from synopses and runtimes, to prominent awards recognition, performance metrics in Netflix's Top 10, and details on principal cast members. The streaming giant continues to assure that searching by genre and theme remains a trusty option, and reminds viewers that a welcome message will guide them through the changes upon logging in.
