Mahesh Bhatt left Ghulam because of Aamir Khan, says Deepak Tijori: ‘Aamir ko nahi jhel sakta main'
Deepak Tijori, who was also a part of Ghulam, recently recalled this anecdote in a chat with Bollywood Bubble and shared that Mahesh Bhatt actually quit the film because he could not work with Aamir Khan. He recalled, 'I got to know that Bhatt saab left Ghulam. He said, 'Mere se nahi hoga, Aamir ko jhel nahi sakta main (I can't do this. Can't put up with Aamir).'' Deepak recalled that it was after this that Vikram Bhatt took over as the director, and at this point, the film had already been in the making for 2 years.

In an earlier chat with SCREEN, Mahesh Bhatt shared, 'I choose to walk away from it. I told Aamir, I didn't think movies meant so much to me that I would dedicate my entire life to it. It doesn't mean so much to me and I'd be lying if I say otherwise.' Until Ghulam, they had already worked together in Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahi and Hum Hain Raahi Pyaar Ke. In another chat with Radio Nasha, Mahesh shared that Aamir once spent 10 hours discussing his cap in Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahi.
In an archival interview shared on the YouTube channel of Wild Films India, Mahesh had shared, 'He worked with me on Ghulam. That wasn't a pleasant experience for me. When a man is burdened by his greatness, that burden is shared by people around him. Economically, that is very difficult, especially if you're making movies with reasonable budgets.'
Aamir Khan was last seen in Sitaare Zameen Par, which released after the colossal failure of Laal Singh Chaddha. As per Sacnilk, the film has already earned over Rs 154 crore.

Prithviraj Sukumaran compares his Sarzameen co-star Kajol to Mohanlal, calls her ‘a truly gifted artist…'
Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kajol recently made the headlines as they appeared together in the Bollywood movie Sarzameen. As the movie premiered on JioHotstar, the Kaduva actor compared his co-star to Malayalee superstar Mohanlal. What made Prithviraj consider Kajol and Mohanlal to be similar? Talking with Bollywood Bubble, Prithviraj Sukumaran said, 'Kajol is wonderful, she's a truly gifted artist. And, she is an instinctive actor. The greatest thing about collaborating with such actors is that they make the pitch for your character unpredictable.' 'It's not like you have rehearsed with them a couple of times. It also happens with Mohanlal sir. He's very instinctive as an actor. If we do 5 takes with him, each take will be different from the others. Kajol is a lot like him. She truly believes in being instinctive about her performance pitch,' he added. Prithviraj's team hits back against false rumors In recent times, reports suggested that Prithviraj claimed Lucifer 3 would be the biggest action venture in Indian cinema, even including underwater action sequences. However, the actor's team, Poffactio, has hit back against these rumors, clearing the air. The team has also criticized news portals for spreading false claims and said, 'We express our disappointment in major channels for spreading false news claiming that Prithviraj Sukumaran made statements about the L3 movie. These reports are entirely untrue.' 'It appears this misinformation originated from a fake profile ID as part of a hate campaign. We request all channels to cross-check facts before reporting and to republish corrected news to clarify the truth to the public and Prithviraj's well-wishers,' the post read. Here's the official post: About Sarzameen Sarzameen is a Hindi-language movie starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kajol, and Ibrahim Ali Khan in leading roles. Ashok Saraf recalls how Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan pulled a firecracker prank on Rakesh Roshan during 'Karan Arjun' shoot: 'Kisi ko sataana ho toh...'
As Karan Arjun celebrates its 30th anniversary with a theatrical re-release, behind-the-scenes stories are resurfacing. Ashok Saraf confirmed Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan's on-set antics, including bursting crackers and firing fake guns outside Rakesh Roshan's room. Johny Lever often joined in the fun, while Saraf preferred to stay away from the mischief. As Karan Arjun celebrates its 30th anniversary with a theatrical re-release, behind-the-scenes stories from the iconic film are grabbing attention once again. In a nostalgic throwback, veteran actor Ashok Saraf spoke about the off-screen chaos on the set that was just as entertaining as the film itself. SRK and Salman's On-Set Antics Were Real When asked about rumours of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan bursting crackers outside Rakesh Roshan 's room and firing fake guns to prank others on the Karan Arjun set, Ashok Saraf confirmed the antics in conversation with Radio Nasha Official. He shared that while he kept his distance from the mischief, the two actors definitely enjoyed themselves on set. Johny Lever Joined the Fun, Saraf Stayed Away The actor further revealed that his close friend and co-star Johny Lever often joined Shah Rukh and Salman in their on-set pranks. While the group shared a fun bond, Saraf noted that he preferred to stay on the sidelines and didn't actively participate in the mischief. In a previous interview with the same portal, Rakesh Roshan shared how Shah Rukh and Salman would often pull wild pranks outside his room during the shooting of Karan Arjun—firing fake guns and throwing bottles late at night. The mischief even made its way into the docu-drama The Roshans, where Shah Rukh recalled being scolded by Rakesh's wife, Pinkie Roshan. He admitted that while he appeared more well-behaved than Salman, both of them were like mischievous kids troubling a father figure on set. Karan Arjun, also starring Kajol, Rakhee Gulzar , and Amrish Puri , recently completed 30 years. To mark the milestone, the film was re-released in theatres.

Mimoh Chakraborty recalls playing games with Shah Rukh Khan during Kuch Kuch Hota Hai shoot, talks about bond with Salman Khan: ‘I am very fortunate…'
Actor Mimoh Chakraborty's movie career has not been very fruitful so far. Since his debut film, Mimoh has, unfortunately, not been able to catapult himself into the stardom that many aspire to. However, he is content with his journey, having been fortunate enough to be guided by superstars like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, among others. During a recent appearance on SCREEN's 'Dear Me…', Mimoh recalled his fond memories with the two Bollywood icons. Like other kids from a film lineage, Mimoh Chakraborty also shared his views on nepotism and recalled the advice Abhishek Bachchan once gave him. Talking about how he dealt with negativity after Jimmy (2008) didn't do well, Mimoh said, 'I remember meeting Abhishek Bachchan during my dull phase; he has also gone through all of this. He eventually became such a big star with his charisma and fights. He said, 'No matter what the world tells you, never stop believing in yourself and fight back.' I remember that even today. Everything I read about me was a stepping stone to something else.' Also Read: Mimoh Chakraborty recalls the 'mega stardom' wife Madalsa Sharma saw with Anupamaa: 'My dad Mithun Chakraborty pushed her to take it up' Mimoh Chakraborty also spoke about how Salman Khan was always there for him. 'Salman bhai is a very loving man; he and my dad (veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty) have been very close. Their friendship is something I look up to; Dad and Bhai have been the best of friends. The same love he has given me as well. Whenever I want to talk to him, he is always there. I am very fortunate to get that love and attention from him. Not just him, even Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Arjun Rampal… they all have done this for me. I have been very fortunate to meet these amazing people, and whenever I have met them, they have always guided me to do something better in life. It is very rare to have this; our industry is very cut-throat and competitive. When you meet superstars like these who are willing to advise you for your betterment, I feel very fortunate.' Mimoh said. He also recalled the first time he met Salman Khan and said, 'Salman bhai has always gone out of his way to do something for me. I love him for that. I remember in Ooty, he had come for shooting and was sitting with that. He was wearing a white t-shirt and a bandana; the aura he had was 'my god!' He was sitting in Dad's office when I was introduced. I was a kid back then and had this Polaroid camera. So I asked Dad to click my picture with him, and the next day I showed that photo to everybody in my school.' A post shared by Mahaakshay Chakraborty (@mimohchakraborty) Mimoh also recalled how SRK played games with him on his computer during the shooting of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. He said, 'Even with SRK… they were shooting for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and staying in our Monarch Hotel. Imagine King Khan coming to our room! He was sitting with Dad, and then he opened my PC to play Flight Simulator with me and my brother Rimo. Both of us were looking at each other and thinking, 'King Khan was sitting with us!' He was so nice.' Commenting on the popular belief that star kids get opportunities very easily, Mimoh Chakraborty gave his take on nepotism. He said, 'It's not true. Why is nepotism given such a bad reputation? We are attracted to this world we have been exposed to since we were kids. We just know people. I know Salman Khan, SRK, and other great people, but they don't owe me anything. They love my father, but they don't owe my father anything, nor does he. There is a familiarity, but that's it. I can go to Salman bhai and ask him how he is doing, but nothing beyond that. I don't use the word 'star kid' because I feel it's like a curse word for us. People from the film lineage will be given the opportunity, but in the end, it is always the hard work, the mantle, your talent, your thirst and hunger, and above all, your destiny. I am the poster boy of anti-nepotism, and I am very proud of it. But having said that, everyone deserves an opportunity.'
