The Marlow Murder Club will return to screens with an all-new series.
UKTV has announced that the detective show starring Jo Martin and Samantha Bond has been renewed for a third season, with filming already underway on the follow-up outing.

"Now an established part of newly promoted DI Tanika Malik's (Dew) crime solving team, retired archaeologist Judith Potts (Bond), dog walker Suzie Harris (Jo Martin) and vicar's wife Becks Starling (Horgan) are back and bringing their unconventional methods to a string of high-profile murders," teases the official show synopsis.
The recommission follows in the wake of season 2 which arrived on screens in April this year. The third season of The Marlow Murder Club will comprise of six episodes, with three new murder mysteries to solve, that will unfold over two episodes each.

"From the sudden death of the nicest man in Marlow, the town's beloved Mayor, to a celebrity chef found dead at the launch of his cookbook with half the town in attendance, the team will be working under the watchful eye of the Marlow community," the synopsis continues.
"They'll also be called to action at a university reunion in an eerie manor house where in a surprising twist, Becks finds herself amongst the suspects. Could this case threaten our amateur sleuths' roles as civilian advisors?"
The Marlow Murder Club is based on the bestselling book series of the same name by Robert Thorogood, who also created Death in Paradise and co-created its spin-off shows Beyond Paradise and Return to Paradise.

Season three will be based on the third book in the franchise, Queen of Poisons, with Thorogood having also co-written the first two episodes of the next instalment with Daniel Rusteau.
The Marlow Murder Club has been described as "cosy" in reviews by Decider and The Daily Telegraph, while Digital Spy awarded three stars to season 2, praising the finale which left viewers with "the desire to know these women more".

What we know about Beyond Paradise series 4 as filming begins

The beloved BBC crime drama is officially returning for a fourth series, with new details emerging about the team at Shipton Abbott. Beyond Paradise's Detective Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall) is returning for another round of tantalising mysteries on the south coast in Shipton Abbott. That's right, the beloved BBC crime drama will be back for a fourth series and the great news was confirmed by Red Planet Pictures on Tuesday, 29 July. Not only that, but it was announced that production has already begun on the new episodes. For those who can't wait to learn more about the new series, here is what we know so far. When will Beyond Paradise series 4 be released? Red Planet Productions confirmed that production had begun on Beyond Paradise's first episode on 21 July with a picture of the very first slate of the series. The image showed a coastal view behind the slate and revealed that the episode itself will be directed by Fiona Walton. The Instagram social media post read: "We're back in Shipton Abbott! Filming has begun this week on the brand-new series of #BeyondParadise. Expect plenty of puzzling twists and turns as the team gear up for another series full of mystery, humour, and heart on the sunny shores of Devon and Cornwall." The BBC hasn't yet confirmed when series 4 will return to screens, but it is likely to continue the tradition of airing in the first half of 2026. The broadcaster will likely confirm the release date closer to the time of its release. What will Beyond Paradise series 4 be about? Series 3 ended with a dramatic twist in Humphrey and fiancée Martha (Sally Bretton) having to say goodbye to their foster child Rosie. The young girl had just started to become comfortable with her new foster parents, and they had grown close to her too, but in the finale, the time came for her to return to her birth parents. Humphrey and Martha's journey as foster parents is an important part of the series and it will likely continue to be a significant narrative in the next series. Elsewhere, the show has been exploring the personal relationships of several supporting characters, such as Esther (Zahra Ahmadi) and her budding romance with Archie (Jamie Bamber). The pair decided to part ways at the end of series 3, but the aftermath of this could play an important part in series 4. And then, of course, there will be a number of important cases for the team in Shipton Abbott to solve. Who stars in Beyond Paradise series 4? Marshall and Bretton are expected to return for the BBC show's fourth series, while other key players like Ahmadi, Dylan Lleweylln, Felicity Montagu, and Barbara Flynn are also expected to reprise their respective roles in the series. The BBC has not yet confirmed who will be part of the cast, but this is likely to be announced soon. The show will also continue to have an array of guest stars, with the cast confirmed closer to series 4's release date. Is there a trailer for Beyond Paradise series 4? No, a trailer for Beyond Paradise series 4 hasn't yet been released as it is too early for there to be one. Filming has only just begun, and a trailer is likely to land once filming is complete and a release date has been confirmed. Beyond Paradise series 1 to 3 is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.

How to watch 'Bookish' online — stream British crime drama series from anywhere

With a second series already commissioned, "Bookish" combines clever crime solving with faithful period drama in a bid to become the new streaming obsession of anybody who likes their murder mysteries at a pedestrian pace. Here's how you can watch "Bookish" online around the world and from anywhere with a VPN. All six episodes of "Bookish" will be available to stream from Wednesday, July 16.• U.K. — U&Alibi• Aus — Max• Watch anywhere — try NordVPN risk-free Cosy crime is certainly having its moment in the sun, with shows like "Ludwig" and "The Marlow Murder Club" winning over fans, and the star-studded big screen adaptation of Richard Osman's "The Thursday Murder Club" expected to enjoy big box office numbers when it premieres next month. "Bookish" is created by small screen favorite Mark Gatiss ("League of Gentlemen"). He also plays protagonist, Gabriel Book — an eccentric bookseller in 1940s London, who has a nose for sleuthing and encyclopaedic knowledge of literature to help him crack crimes. With a cast that includes appearances from familiar faces such as Paul McGann ("Doctor Who"), Daniel Mays ("Vera Drake") and Joely Richardson ("Lady Chatterley"), these three whodunnit mysteries look an ideal antidote to grittier boxsets. Read on and discover how you can watch "Bookish" online and from anywhere in the world. "Bookish" will be broadcast on the U&Alibi channel in the U.K. Episodes will drop in the form of three double-bills, going out on consecutive Wednesdays from July 16 at 8:10 p.m. BST. U&Alibi is a premium channel in the U.K. and is available as part of Sky TV and Virgin Media packages.
