He also spent almost £1million on two properties at the home of golf in St Andrews.
Most were bought during the ex-Celtic midfielder's five-season stint at then-Premier League side Southampton.
Documents reveal that Armstrong, 33, set up his Glasgow-listed real estate firm back in 2017.
It now has investment properties worth £3,439,204 in total.
A source said: 'Stuart has had a glittering career that has seen him spend years in the top flight of English football.
'But he has maintained links to his homeland, despite a move that has seen him play elsewhere for the last seven years. He appears to have invested his earnings very wisely.'
Accounts show Armstrong bought a flat in Aberdeen's West End for £126,000 in 2018.
The same year he paid £415,00 for a place in Edinburgh's Newington area. He also bought a flat in the capital's affluent Marchmont for an unknown sum.
Three homes in Glasgow's West End were snapped up for £560,000, £263,000 and £186,000 between 2018 and 2023.
One in St Andrews cost £596,000. The second, bought in September 2023, was £373,000.

Trump administration is reportedly looking to cut language services at the IRS

Reports suggest the Trump administration is considering eliminating language services at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This potential move follows Donald Trump 's executive order declaring English the official language of the United States. Attorney General Pam Bondi issued a memo directing federal agencies, including the Treasury Department, to plan for phasing out 'unnecessary multilingual offerings.' The IRS currently provides extensive language support, such as translated forms, free phone and in-person translation, and multilingual digital platforms. The proposed changes could significantly impede non-English speaking individuals from fulfilling their tax obligations, particularly amidst concerns about IRS cooperation with immigration enforcement.

Arsenal transfer news: Viktor Gyokeres medical booked as four players braced for exits

Viktor Gyokeres is finally on his way to Arsenal, allowing sporting director Andrea Berta to turn his attention towards selling the players unwanted by Mikel Arteta Arsenal will soon have six summer transfers in the bag, with deals for Viktor Gyokeres and Cristhian Mosquera close. ‌ The Gunners have signed Noni Madueke, Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Christian Norgaard, but are not done yet. Gyokeres is finally close to becoming an Arsenal player, while Mosquera's move from Valencia is all but done. ‌ Mikel Arteta and his players have headed out on their pre-season tour, where they played AC Milan in Singapore on Wednesday. There is plenty more to sort out ahead of the next pre-season friendly against Alexander Isak-less Newcastle this weekend. ‌ They know the importance of this summer after three straight second-place finishes in the Premier League, so therefore aren't putting the brakes on just yet. Here are the latest reports and rumours regarding Arsenal and transfers. Gyokeres flying in After weeks and weeks of negotiations, the Swedish striker is expected to be in London on Friday to wrap up the final pieces of the transfer. The 27-year-old will sit down to iron out his contractual details. Thankfully, the rest is already sorted: a £55.1m (€63.5m) guaranteed fee, plus £8.7m (€10m) in add-ons for Sporting Lisbon. It's taken so long that Gyokeres will have missed most of pre-season with his new club before the Premier League begins. But after flying into the English capital, Gyokeres will be jetted out to Singapore to meet up with his team-mates and Arteta. He could make his debut against Newcastle on Sunday, if all goes to plan. Four players to sell Arsenal have worked hard on signing new players this summer, but also need to get rid of their unwanted players. Sporting director Andrea Berta is working on two fronts – and the focus may turn towards selling when Gyokeres and Mosquera are done. ‌ Fabio Vieira, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Reiss Nelson and Oleksandr Zinchenko are four players who are on the transfer list right now. Nelson was on loan with Fulham last season and Marco Silva has been asked whether the club might consider a permanent transfer for the winger. 'Reiss Nelson was with us last season; he was very unlucky in terms of his injury record last season,' he said. 'Perhaps in his best moment of the season, he had a bad injury that broke the momentum of him. But he's not our player right now, he's an Arsenal player so I'm not going to talk about players from another club.' Eze timeline ‌ Arsenal may have to wait if they want to sign Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace this summer. Eze is one of the players they are looking at, along with Newcastle's Anthony Gordon and Real Madrid 's Rodrygo. He has a £68million release clause and Palace are standing firm, saying he will only be sold if that fee is met. Now Football London reports that they won't sanction a sale until they know the outcome of their appeal against UEFA's decision to kick them out of the Europa League. Palace hope to hear back from the Court of Arbitration for Sport before August 11, which is only days before the start of the Premier League season. Eze's future is up in the air until then. Man Utd transfer news: Benjamin Sesko boost as clear message sent over another striker target

Manchester United are still in the market for a centre-forward this summer after missing out on a whole host of targets who ended up moving to their Premier League rivals Manchester United have spent £133.5million on two forwards in the summer transfer window, yet still remain without a proven centre-forward. ‌ The club have signed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo from Wolves and Brentford respectively, with young left-back Diego Leon the only other first-team addition so far. That will come as a disappointment for Ruben Amorim, who wanted deals wrapped up before the pre-season tour. ‌ United are now in Chicago on that tour and are still yet to address many of the issues in their squad. One of the most obvious is the lack of goals, after they managed just 44 in 38 Premier League games as they finished 15th last season. ‌ Rasmus Hojlund scored 10 goals in 52 games in total, four of which came in the league, and with Marcus Rashford having left on loan for Barcelona, there is a need for a new striker. Mirror Football understands that, after negotiations for Mbeumo dragged on, there is a feeling that United may start the Premier League season on August 17 without a new striker. They will hope that isn't the case – and here are the latest reports. Sesko boost RB Leipzig have reduced their asking price for Benjamin Sesko in a boost for United. Earlier in the summer, Arsenal were put off by the German side demanding a fee between £68m and £85m. But now it has been suggested that €70m (£60m) would be enough to secure his services. United were beaten to the signings of Liam Delap by Chelsea, to Hugo Ekitike by Liverpool and to Viktor Gyokeres by Arsenal. But their head of scouting Christopher Vivell has been to watch Sesko personally and is pushing for a deal to happen. The 22-year-old got 22 goals in 45 games last season and is under contract with Leipzig until June 2029. United would likely need to offload the likes of Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho before they could afford another big outlay. ‌ Kolo Muani demoted Another striker United have been linked with is Randal Kolo Muani, who is very much available from Paris Saint-Germain. He has been sent to train with the PSG youth team by manager Luis Enrique, who has made it clear he has no future with the club. The France international spent last season on loan with Juventus, who have seen a few bids rejected by PSG. He is now in the PSG bomb squad, along with Milan Skriniar, Marco Asensio, Carlos Soler, Nordi Mukiele and Renato Sanches. The problem is Kolo Muani still has three years on his contract after signing from Eintracht Frankfurt for £76.4m two years ago. PSG reportedly want £52m for his signature, but Juve will push for another loan. ‌ United miss out on teenager Tyrese Noubissie is leaving Manchester City 's academy this summer, but won't be moving across the city to United. The MEN report that French side Strasbourg have won the race for his services, having convinced the 16-year-old that his development would be best served with them. The French central midfielder was identified as a potential signing by United, who know that recruiting players domestically is easier since Brexit. But Noubissie is heading abroad after confirming his exit from the Etihad. "After an incredible two years filled with hard work and dedication, It's time for me to turn a page and face a new challenge,' he said on Monday.
