Strictly Come Dancing pro 'so proud' as they share emotional tribute to partner
Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell is gearing up for her return to the BBC show.
Dianne Buswell, the current reigning Strictly Come Dancing champion, took a moment to reflect on her journey last year.
This week, the celebrities taking part in this year's series have started to be announced, with some names being unveiled so far.
With a new lineup set to make their way onto the BBC dancefloor later this year, Dianne took a moment to praise her former partner, comedian Chris McCausland.
Chris made history last year when he became the first blind contestant to take part in the show and went on to win the Glitterball trophy with Dianne.
Sharing a collection of clips from their rehearsals, the Strictly pro had nothing but praise when speaking about Chris and how much he managed to improve.

She captioned the sweet video: "With the new celebs being announced, it made me have a look down memory lane. I came across these videos of Chris, and it made me so incredibly proud.
"Dance didn't come naturally at all …as he would say to me daily "I'm just a 47 year old man who sits on a stool for a living Di….. "[sic] but it didn't stop him his hard work dedication and a real laugh along the way got him through.
"So DON'T underestimate any of the contestants because you never know how it will pan out. It makes me so excited for each and every one of them, another brilliant year is ahead of us."

However, fans will have to wait a while longer to see if Dianne is matched with a celebrity partner this year, as not all pros compete in the series but are instead part of the group dances.
This is set to be the case for Gorka Marquez, who confirmed that he won't be partnered with a celebrity this year due to other work commitments.
Currently, Gladiator star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey aka Nitro, reality star Dani Dyer, actress Alex Kingston, and former footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink have been announced as taking part in this year's series.

Speaking about joining the show, she said: "I can't believe it! I'm really, really excited, I can't stop the butterflies! Every time I think about it, they just go. I'm hoping I'll be able to contain them on the floor."
The actress also detailed her future on the soap, adding: "I'll still be working here (EastEnders). So, I'll be doing two jobs. I don't know how I'm going to handle it. I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm really looking forward to it, we'll see."
Strictly Come Dancing is set to air later this year on BBC One.

BBC 'forced' to scrap Ozzy Osbourne documentary after 'family complaints'
Ozzy Osbourne had been documenting his long-awaited return to the UK, but the BBC film capturing it has suddenly vanished from TV schedules. A special documentary charting the 'moving and inspirational' final chapter of Ozzy Osbourne's life has been mysteriously pulled from the BBC schedule. Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home was due to air on BBC One and iPlayer tonight at 9pm, promising "unique and intimate access to the whole Osbourne family," including wife Sharon and children Kelly and Jack, reports the Mirror. But the one-off, hour-long film, announced earlier this month, has vanished from TV listings and replaced with Fake or Fortune. The delay comes after Sharon Osbourne broke down in tears at Ozzy's funeral following his death at 76. Black Sabbath legend Ozzy died on July 22 from a reported heart attack, just weeks after reuniting with the band for the Back To The Beginning farewell concert in Birmingham. He had been documenting his long-awaited return to the UK, a dream he'd chased for years. The BBC film was set to capture this homecoming, but fans were left disappointed when it was suddenly removed from listings at the last minute. A spokesperson for the BBC told the Mirror today that the "film has moved in the schedules" and new premiere details will be shared "in due course". The broadcaster has offered no explanation for the sudden change, but insiders suggest the family's reaction to the final cut was a key factor. A source told The Sun: "There have been conversations behind the scenes that maybe the BBC were rushing their show on Ozzy out - especially because Paramount+ also had a film in the offing.' Originally, the series was to be a ten-part documentary called Home To Roost, following Ozzy and Sharon's return to the UK. After Ozzy's passing, it was reworked into a single film. "What mattered the most to the family was the overall tone and theme of the programme, which features Ozzy and Sharon in one of their last interviews together," the insider said. "It started to feel like the goal being pursued was that the BBC and the makers of the film were to get the show on air faster than the Paramount+ doc. Naturally that has caused some concerns with the family," they added. Filmed over three years, the BBC says the documentary captures the "extraordinary rollercoaster of their lives" as Ozzy and Sharon attempt to fulfil their dream of returning to the UK. It also shows Ozzy "heroically battling to get fit enough to perform" while the family navigates the "dramatic consequences of his ill health," with Kelly Osbourne quoted as saying: "Iron Man wasn't really made of iron." Ozzy had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019. Clare Sillery, head of commissioning, BBC Documentaries, said on August 7: "We are honoured to have had the opportunity to film with Ozzy and his family. The film captures an intimate glimpse into their journey as they prepare to return to the UK. "It features family moments, humour, reflection and shows the enduring spirit that made Ozzy a global icon. We hope it brings comfort and joy to Ozzy's fans and viewers as they remember and celebrate his extraordinary life." Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Ben Wicks and Colin Barr, executive producers at production company Expectation, added: "It was an incredible privilege to spend the last few years with Ozzy , as well as Sharon, Jack and Kelly. Ozzy wanted to make it back to the UK and appear on stage one last time – our film is an inspiring and poignant account of him fulfilling that dream. " Ozzy was loved by millions around the world not just for his music, but for his sense of mischief and his honesty, all of which we saw plenty of in the final years of his life. But one thing shone through even more brightly to us, and that was Ozzy's intense love for his exceptional family who were by his side through it all." Last month, fans gathered alongside Ozzy's family to pay tribute to the star as a funeral cortege travelled through Birmingham. Sharon and the couple's children could be seen wiping away tears when they arrived at the Black Sabbath bench, where thousands of tributes, balloons and flowers were left. Musicians from Bostin Brass played Black Sabbath songs to accompany the cortege, and fans threw flowers at the hearse as it slowly passed through the city.

ITV 'launch formal investigation into Good Morning Britain' after shocking blunder
ITV have reportedly launched a formal investigation into an incident that sparked outrage on Good Morning Britain earlier this year on Holocaust Memorial Day ITV have reportedly launched a formal probe into Good Morning Britain after one 'humiliating blunder too big to ignore' left viewers outraged. The broadcaster's long-running early morning programme aired a tribute to the victims of one of history's biggest atrocities on Holocaust Memorial Day earlier this year. On that day, presenter Ranvir Singh was reporting and while she mentioned that the six million people killed in the death camps were 'disabled, gay or belonged to another ethnic group', but did not make it clear that that figure applied to solely the Jewish victims, and didn't appear to realise that there were 11 million victims in total. The episode in question aired on the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau in January, and it is now thought that the incident has become the subject of a formal investigation. A source told The Sun: "Good Morning Britain is a flagship programme for ITV and to allow a blunder like this was too big to simply ignore. They are now investigating how this happened and the top brass want answers. ITV pride themselves on their news coverage but this was lower than sub par." The insider also claimed that 'the probe will uncover who allowed it to happen and there will be consequences' for those involved, adding that it 'has been hugely humiliating and is a headache the bosses over at ITV really could do without.' The Mirror has approached ITV for comment on the probe they have launched. At the time, the blunder sparked outrage and Ranvir, who also regularly covers for Lorraine Kelly on her eponymous daytime show, was quick to apologise for her error. She said: "In yesterday's news when we reported on the memorial events in Auschwitz, we said six million people were killed in the Holocaust, but crucially failed to say they were Jewish. That was our mistake, for which we apologise." Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the show said: "In our studio introduction to the report on the 80th anniversary of Auschwitz we failed to acknowledge the Jewish community which we have since apologised for live on air in today's programme. "This failure was done in error, however clear reference to Jewish people in the correspondent news report from Auschwitz immediately followed, as well as a further extended programme report referencing the six million Jewish victims. Yesterday's programme also included a live studio interview with a survivor of Auschwitz, Rachel Levy alongside Olivia Marks-Woldman, Chief Executive of the Holocaust Memorial Trust, both of whom talked candidly about their own experiences as Jewish people." The clip came under fire on social media, with one person writing: "Disgusting shameful!" A second added: "This can't be for real?" "This coverage is utterly disgraceful! This history must not be forgotten, nor must it be distorted. The Jews were the victims then - we must make sure that they will never be the victims again," said another.
