Ant and Dec dealt huge triple blow at TRIC Awards 2025 as winners revealed in full

Daily Record25-06-2025
The TRIC Awards 2025 was held in London last night but it was not a successful night for the Geordie presenting duo.
The TRIC Awards made a comeback on Tuesday evening with Britain's biggest TV stars arriving at Grosvenor House in London for the red carpet event. The star studded event was hosted by TRIC President Dan Walker and the audience were also treated to a performance by Magic Radio's Lemar.
While it was an excellent night celebrating the success of some of the biggest names in showbiz, there were two people who were dealt a huge blow on the evening after they were snubbed for multiple awards which were decided on by the UK public. Presenting duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are used to winning awards thanks to their wit and hilarious friendship.

However, this year the beloved hosts were snubbed from the Entertainment, Gameshow, and TV Personality categories. Ant and Dec had been nominated for I'm A Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here! in the Entertainment category and Limitless Win in the game show category, the Mirror reports.

They pair also lost out to Bradley Walsh in the TV Personality category. Here is the winner's list in full...

Emmerdale favourite 'to get the blame' for Vinny attack in ITVX release

The following article contains spoilers from an episode of Emmerdale that hasn't aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX. Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) has told a huge lie to Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) in the aftermath of his attack in Emmerdale. Yesterday, Vinny invited Mike over, the man he met on an LGBTQI+ forum. The two men had met up a couple of times prior to this, and Vinny believed they were connecting over thoughts regarding sexuality. Unfortunately, it was all a lie, as Vinny discovered yesterday that Mike was after one thing and one thing only – money. Mike accused Vinny of inviting him over just to try and sleep with him. Vinny denied this, but it was this moment where he started to realise that the man he had told some incredibly private secrets to was someone entirely different. He tried to run out of the house but Mike grabbed Vinny and brutally attacked him. The violence was so intense, Vinny was reminded of the times his biological father Paul would beat him. In tonight's episode, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) arrived home after spending the night away from the village. It meant that Vinny had the chance to tidy the house up and hide his injuries, and she was completely none the wiser. While he was hiding his bruises, Vinny still needed to create a cover story in case Gabby spotted them, and it involved targeting a perfectly innocent Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah). Outside, Vinny approached Kammy and started to goad him, hoping that he would be pushed to throw a few punches. Kammy was never going to attack his best mate but when Vinny tried to hit him, he had no choice but to push him away. This, and the shouting that was happening between them, sparked Gabby to run towards them both and pull Vinny away. Poor Kammy was so confused, even more so when Vinny told blatant lies about what he had said. A while later, Kammy visited Vinny, desperate to know what on earth was going on. Kammy told his friend that if he isn't honest with himself, everything will end in tears. Reluctant to do this, Vinny got Kammy to leave. Just before the episode ended, Vinny was seen getting the Hotten Police Station website up on his phone. He couldn't bring himself to contact them, but whether he thought about putting the blame on Kammy for the break-in and attack, or whether he almost reported Mike remains to be seen. Is Vinny capable of going this far and framing Kammy for this? All to hide this secret? Vinny has felt confused about his sexuality ever since he tried to kiss Kammy. Shortly after it happened, Vinny claimed it was a joke and reminded Kammy that he's currently engaged to Gabby. More Trending In the days that followed, Kammy tried to talk to Vinny about the moment and how it made him feel, but he pushed his mate away. Vinny made contact with Mike after a conversation with Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt), who volunteers for a mental health charity. Paddy spoke about how valuable the charities are, and how they help people feel less alone. Vinny took to the internet and found a forum. He made contact with Mike and spoke to him about a variety of things. It was the first time Vinny has genuinely and comfortably discussed that he might not be straight, but bravely doing this has caused a massive fallout, as he opened up to a man who simply did not care what he had to say. 'Mackenzie has been in so many scrapes and dangerous positions, but this time it looks like he's bitten off more than he can chew. 'Viewers will be on the edges of their seats watching what happens.' The scenes, which are meant to air later this year, will take place after Mackenzie discovers the truth about John. Actor Lawrence Robb has already filmed the final scenes for his character. The insider added: 'There are huge twists and turns coming throughout this storyline, and it's going to run for months and months. 'Nothing can be ruled out - bosses are really going for it and doing everything they can to keep the audience on their toes.' Emotional heart-to-heart sparks unexpected new Emmerdale friendship

In yesterday's episode of Emmerdale, Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly) and Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) were arrested after attacking each other. In tonight's episode, they were seen in tears, supporting each other over their complicated pasts. The two women made a bit of a show of themselves at the depot because they ended up fighting over Ross Barton (Michael Parr). Ruby was struggling in the aftermath of Steph Miligan's (Georgia Jay) departure and believed it was Manpreet's fault. She wasn't exactly to blame, as Steph left because Ross failed to tell her that he slept with Manpreet when they weren't a couple. This, along with everything that's happened between her and her daughter this year, left Ruby with the view that if Manpreet and Ross never had their fling, Steph would still be around. After Ruby called Manpreet a s*****r in front of residents in the surgery, Manpreet went to find her for a confrontation. She couldn't understand why Ruby was so interested in her private life, of course unaware of what has gone on between the two Miligans. The fight at the depot ended with Ruby and Manpreet heading to the station after being arrested for ABH. In tonight's episode, they had no choice but to sit together as they waited for some taxis. Two, because no way would they survive the journey home in the same one. The goal at the start of their conversation was to score one up on each other. Ruby did this by bringing up Meena, Manpreet's serial killer sister. When it was Manpreet's turn, she tried to get at Ruby by mentioning her family and more specifically, her father. Triggered, Ruby then shut Manpreet up by revealing that her father raped her. The news left Manpreet in tears. It was this moment that saw a switch in the dynamic between the two women, as Manpreet gently supported and listened to Ruby as she spoke about her past, and how the abuse impacted her mental health. More Trending Manpreet wondered if Ruby had ever spoken to anyone about this, and she confirmed that Caleb Miligan (William Ash) knows. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? The local GP then admitted that she's been attending therapy quite regularly to talk about her past and Meena, and thinks an outside voice helps tenfold. The conversation proved that Manpreet and Ruby are not too dissimilar. Their pasts aren't the same, but they are both strong women who keep secrets about themselves, and are sometimes afraid of making friends and letting someone in. Now on the same page, Ruby called the taxi company and confirmed they didn't need two vehicles, because her friend Manpreet would be sharing the same one as her.
