CM Revanth all set to unwrap Formation Day gifts on June 2
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is likely to announce 'June 2' gifts on the Telangana Formation Day to benefit a few sections of the Telangana society. Apart from launching the prestigious Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme on the State Formation Day, the CM will announce some important decisions on long pending demands of the government employees, new job recruitments and the welfare of the families of the Telangana martyrs.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikaramarka is holding regular meetings with the District Collectors to make arrangements for the distribution of certificates to the beneficiaries under Rajiv Yuva Vikasam on June 2. The identification of the beneficiaries was in the final stage.
The Sub Committee on government employees demands conducted a series of meetings with the representatives of the employees unions and the crucial meeting called on June 1 will take some important decisions on the release of DAs and pending arrears. Based on the outcome of the meeting, the CM will announce sops to the government employees as a gift on State Formation Day.
Sources said that the CM was also planning to distribute financial benefit to the families of the Telangana martyrs, veteran folk artistes and writers who contributed their services during the first and second phase of Telangana movements. The CM will also convene a special meeting with his cabinet colleagues on June 1 in the State Secretariat. The outcome of the meeting will definitely draw the attention as Revanth Reddy is keen to take some important decisions to benefit the farming community and poorer sections.

HYDERABAD Senior leader of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and former minister T. Harish Rao has condemned the comments of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud that he (Harish) had met BJP MP Eatala Rajender and termed them as 'cheap'. Madhusudana Chary condemned the misinformation campaign of the rival parties against BRS that it was planning to merge with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He stated that in combined Andhra Pradesh, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) came into being against the Congress and K. Chandrasekhar Rao had floated BRS (TRS) to fight for the existence of Telangana against both Congress and TDP. Stating that KCR had achieved Statehood for Telangana despite adverse political conditions and opposition from strong leaderships such as Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and N. Chandrababu Naidu and developed Telangana as a model State. However, the rival parties were conspiring to weaken BRS, unknowing that the party has the backing of Telangana masses despite its defeat in the elections. On the internal political development of BRS he said he was aware of all and any decision would be taken by party chief KCR. As part of the Telangana Formation Day celebrations in Telangana Bhavan, Mr. Harish Rao would give a powerpoint presentation on the Kaleshwaram project on June 2.

HYDERABAD: BRS MLC and Telangana Jagruthi founder K Kavitha condemned the Commission of Inquiry on Kaleshwaram's notice to former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR). Inaugurating a new Jagruthi office near her residence in Banjara Hills on Saturday, she performed a special puja with her husband Anil Kumar and addressed the media, starting with the slogans: 'Jai Telangana, Jai KCR, Jai Jagruthi.' No BRS flags were seen during the inauguration of the office. 'BRS is KCR's one eye and Telangana Jagruthi is the other,' said Kavitha during the inauguration. She warned against attempts to malign him. Announcing a massive protest at Indira Park on June 4, she said engineers and irrigation experts will join to expose the Congress' 'conspiracy' against Telangana. She criticised the Ghose Commission as a 'Congress Commission' and questioned summoning KCR, who implemented schemes like Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bhima and KCR Kits. Praising Telangana Jagruthi's role since 2006, Kavitha highlighted achievements like the official celebration of Sevalal Jayanthi and installation of Dr Ambedkar's statue. Meanwhile, Kavitha announced the expansion of Jagruthi across all communities — SC, ST, BC, minorities, Adivasis, Sikhs and Christians — to fight for their rights.

TG govt giving big push to tribal education: MLA
Khanapur: Local constituency MLA Veduma Bojju Patel said that if there is to be a change in the lives of tribals, it is possible only with quality education. On Saturday, he participated as the chief guest at a meeting organised by Gondu Sanskritika Samaj on the topic of education and its importance in Kienjhar town centre of Odisha state. Elaborating on the educational facilities provided by the Telangana government in the State, he explained that to provide quality education to Backward Classes the government brought many reforms that are yielding positive results. 'Special attention is being paid to the health of students studying at ashram schools, especially in tribal agency areas, by providing education, food, and accommodation facilities,' said the MLA. 'Since 2014, ashrams, gurukuls, TWS schools, junior and degree colleges, Sainik schools, modern science labs and libraries have been established for tribals in the State, and experienced teachers have been appointed to provide corporate-level education,' he said. 'Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is making special efforts to strengthen the education system in Telangana and is setting up Integrated Residential Schools in remote rural areas,' he added. 'Education is the only way to gain recognition in the society. Tribal youth should pursue higher education and achieve their desired goals.'
