Maserati Shines at FuoriConcorso with Stunning GT2 Stradale and MCXtrema
From 24 to 25 May, Maserati will be the leading light on Lake Como with the GT2 Stradale and MCXtrema.
This will be the first time it has taken part in FuoriConcorso, a prestigious automotive event held annually since 2019 at the historic residences of Villa del Grumello and Villa Sucota, attracting thousands of collectors, experts, car enthusiasts and fans of 'beauty'.
Every year, the event highlights a different aspect of automotive history and creativity with a line-up of customised, iconic, rare and unreleased cars and prototypes.
The theme this year is 'Velocissimo – Italian Race Cars'. an evocative tribute to the most representative racing cars that have made motorsport history.
The two Trident cars on display fit in perfectly: the new GT2 Stradale and the exclusive MCXtrema, the epitome of performance as part of the brand's DNA.
While FuoriConcorso stands out for its refined atmosphere and display of iconic, rare cars often never seen before cars, from private collections and prestigious car manufacturers, Maserati finds its natural environment here to present two extraordinary creations that strike the right balance between elegance and limitless performance.
The new GT2 Stradale, on show in the refined 'Bianco Audace' livery created by Officine Fuoriserie Maserati, represents the evolution of sportiness not only on the track. Created as the road-legal version of the GT2 that took the House of the Trident back to racing and victory in closed-wheel championships, it is a mixture of the two iconic worlds of Maserati, those of elegance and racing. It embodies the brand's racing spirit and at the same time offers comfort and driving pleasure for everyday use. With an output of 640 CV, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of over 320 km/h, the GT2 Stradale also stands out for its weight, reduced by 60 kg compared to the MC20. Courtesy of the extraordinary V6 Nettuno engine, which can achieve 640 CV (471 kW) in the latter configuration, the GT2 Stradale is the most powerful road-going Maserati with an internal combustion engine.
Alongside, a Maserati MCXtrema is on show with all the expressive power of its classic 'Blu Extrema' livery. Not type-approved to be driven on the road, the car is designed for the most discerning of collectors or for gentleman drivers seeking the utmost exhilaration on the track. Produced in a limited edition of only 62 units, the MCXtrema is a racing 'beast' thanks to the sheer power of its formidable 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine – derived from the Nettuno and in this case pushed to the limit – that can deliver 740 CV.
The car on display at Villa Sucota is a unique and distinctive manifestation of the pinnacle of Maserati performance, a creative combination of mechanical mastery, technical cleanliness, irresistible beauty, competitive grit and refined aerodynamics.
Two cars, two spirits, the GT2 Stradale and MCXtrema, but only one Trident. By taking part in FuoriConcorso 2025, Maserati celebrates its vision of luxury, innovation and passion for driving in a unique setting, where art, beauty and engines come together.

Al Pacino Joins Biopic "Maserati: The Brothers"
Yara Sameh Oscar winner Al Pacino has joined the cast of the star-studded biographical drama "Maserati: The Brothers,". Directed by Bobby Moresco, the biopic is follows the family behind the high-performance automobiles that, along with Ferrari and Lamborghini, Italy is known for. In 'Maserati', Pacino will be making a cameo appearance as businessman Vincenzo Vaccaro, who supported the Maserati family and invested in the early days of the company. The star-studded film also stars Anthony Hopkins, Andy Garcia, Jessica Abla, Michele Morrone, Salvatore Esposito, Gina La Piana, and Tatiana Luter. Maserati was founded in 1914 in a garage in the central Italian city of Bologna by three brothers: Alfieri, Ettore and Ernesto. The trident that is the company's emblem is a replica of the one found in the Fountain of Neptune in Bologna. From early on, the company –which is now known for exotic luxury cars — was tied to the world of auto racing. Maserati's first Grand Prix racing car, called 'Type 26,' is the vehicle that Alfieri Maserati was driving in the 1927 Messina Cup race when he had a near fatal crash. Alfieri died a few years later, on March 3, 1932, at the age of 44 from complications related to that accident. In 1937, the brothers, while remaining involved, sold a controlling stake in the company that is now owned by Fiat. Iervolino ('Modì') is the lead producer on the biopic. Nicki Cortese and Wayne Marc Godfrey from Bright White Light ' The Beast' are co-financing and executive producing the project. The second and final phase of filming of 'Maserati' will start in June in Rome. The film is slated for a worldwide premiere in early Fall 2025, Iervolino said. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Egypt confirms denial of airspace access to US B-52 bombers Lifestyle Pistachio and Raspberry Cheesecake Domes Recipe News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Arts & Culture Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's $4.7M LA Home Burglarized Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War
