‘Euphoria' Season 3 adds Rosalía, Marshawn Lynch and Kadeem Hardison

Days after teasing the start of production on the long-anticipated third season of 'Euphoria,' HBO announced some starry additions to the cast.
The network revealed Friday that the cast would be growing, with singer Rosalía, actor and former NFL player Marshawn Lynch, 'A Different World' alum Kadeem Hardison and several others joining the series.
Much of the main cast is returning, including Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Eric Dane, Maude Apatow and Colman Domingo. Nika King and Algee Smith will not be back for the new season.
According to Variety, Dominic Fike will also be returning, although his name was left off the HBO announcement.
Barbie Ferreira had previously said she would not be returning, as she and show creator Sam Levinson agreed her character's storyline had naturally ended. Storm Reid also said she would not be coming back to the show.
The cast additions got the internet buzzing Friday, especially thanks to a photo of Rosalía in character wearing a bedazzled neck brace that was included in the streamer's Instagram post. Rosalía and Schafer briefly dated in 2019, also stirring online interest in the announcement.
The role marks the Grammy winner's first major acting gig.
'If there's anything that excites me as much as creating a good melody or writing a great lyric it's becoming a better performer every day,' Rosalía said in a statement Friday. ''Euphoria' has been my favorite series over the last few years, and I couldn't be happier and more grateful to be acting alongside all of these incredibly talented people that I admire so much and contributing my 'granito de arena' to bring Sam's vision to reality to make magic. I can't wait to share what we're doing!!!' She signed the statement, 'Besitos, Rosi.'
Lynch, a former Seattle Seahawks running back, began acting about a decade ago and has appeared in the HBO series 'Westworld,' and recent films 'Bottoms' and 'Love Hurts.'
'I'm hella juiced about the show and getting a chance to work with the people in front and behind the camera. At the end of the day, I'm just thankful for the opportunity,' he said in a statement.
Hardison will reunite with his former onscreen daughter, Zendaya, from the Disney Channel show 'K.C. Undercover.'
'I was over the moon when I heard the news that I booked it. It's amazing to be back on set with Z. She and I formed a tight friendship while shooting 'K.C. Undercover' and we've stayed close, so this is truly special,' he said in a statement.
Hardison also noted he and the rest of the cast are 'very happy' to be shooting in Los Angeles, especially in the wake of the recent wildfires that have shaken up the industry.
'Our hearts go out to everyone affected and here's to hoping more productions follow suit and come back to Los Angeles to shoot,' he said in his statement.
There's also new additions behind the scenes, with renowned costume designer Colleen Atwood coming on as a co-producer. Natasha Newman-Thomas is joining as a costume designer and François Audouy will serve as a production designer.
Other new cast members include Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert and Anna Van Patten.
Season 3 is expected to premiere in 2026 — four years after the release of the second season.

Drew Scott & Linda Phan Gave a Super-Rare Glimpse Into Making the ‘Back-To-Back Birthday Parties for Piper & Parker'

Having kids born close together is a logistics nightmare. When their birthdays are only days or weeks apart, it can be exhausting (and expensive!) to celebrate each child separately. And as a twin, Drew Scott knows the importance of making your kids feel special. That's why he and his wife Linda Phan came up with the coolest party hack to celebrate the 'back-to-back' birthdays of their kids Parker, born on May 4, 2022, and their daughter Piper, born on May 21, 2024. 'Linda and I threw back-to-back birthday parties for Piper and Parker last month, and let's just say…the kids weren't the only ones having a blast! 😄' the Property Brothers star captioned a new post on Instagram. He shared that he and Phan had a great time dressing up and making their own multi-purpose decorations. 'When it comes to hosting, we love getting the kids involved with DIY crafts, finding new ways to repurpose decorations, and keeping things fun and festive without the fuss. (Linda's creativity never ceases to amaze me!) Swipe for inspo➡️🎂,' he added. In the first photo, the couple smile next to a wagon covered in cardboard to turn it into a 'sea lab.' 'Making props with cardboard and paint is a fun way to get kids involved,' Scott explained. His first tip: 'start with a theme.' For Parker's 3rd birthday, the theme was 'under the sea,' and for Piper's first, it was 'French Pâtisserie.' Next, they made cute signage and rhymes to go with the party and set up a photo booth backdrop. For Parker, they put up blue and orange streamers; for Piper, they made a display with flowers and pastries. 'Try décor you can eat!' he suggested. Next up: 'attention to detail.' They wrapped blue paper sharks around paper cups and set up a table with pink glasses and blue-striped napkins. To save money, Scott recommends 'invest[ing] in décor you can reuse multiple times,' like mini disco balls that worked for both parties, and setting up a play and reading area with things they already had around the house. 'Put on a show' was next, as Scott shared photos of Phan, him, and others dressed up to do a puppet show for Parker's party and a live band to play music for Piper's party. Last but not least, have a fabulous cake! Parker's was in the shape of waves with toy sea animals to fit the theme, and Piper's had edible flowers that made for 'beautiful and easy decorations.' They definitely made the whole back-to-back party thing look easy! People praised these nice, yet relatively simple birthday parties in the comments. 'Kiddos parties are the best – love it! ❤️,' one person wrote. Someone else said, 'This is too cute for kids party 🎉 ideas enjoyed the pics' Last month, Scott shared adorable updates about his kids on their birthdays. For Piper, he shared a sweet video montage of one of her favorite things: dancing! 'POV: Your toddler dances to anything and everything,' he wrote over the video, adding in the caption, 'Happy 1st birthday to our little dancing queen! ❤️' When his son Parker turned 3, he wrote a little bit about what his toddler is into right now. 'To my walk and talk compadre, my dino wrangler, my coffee connoisseur, and my little foodie,' the HGTV star wrote on Instagram. 'You've made the past 3 years the best I could have imagined.' He added, 'I love you Parky!! Happy bday.' Sly Stone death: Funk and soul legend of ‘Dance to the Music' fame dies aged 82

Sly Stone, the singer-songwriter who rose to fame with the band Sly and the Family Stone, has died. He was 82. 'After a prolonged battle with COPD [chronic obstructive pulmonary disease] and other underlying health issues, Sly passed away peacefully, surrounded by his three children, his closest friend and his extended family,' a statement from his family read, per Variety. 'While we mourn his absence, we take solace in knowing that his extraordinary musical legacy will continue to resonate and inspire for generations to come.' Stone's family also shared that he 'recently completed the screenplay for his life story, a project we are eager to share with the world in due course.' The group rose to fame with the 1969 smash hit 'Dance to the Music.' Stone, born Sylvester Stewart in Denton, Texas, was the second of five children. His parents, K.C. and Alpha Stewart, were both deeply religious and raised their children as such. Growing up, Stone, his brother Freddie, and two sisters, Loretta and Rose, formed the Stewart Four. Together, they performed gospel music and locally released the single, 'On the Battlefield.' Considered a child prodigy, Stone had mastered the keyboard at seven years old. By 11, he had become proficient at the guitar, bass, and drums as well. In 1966, Stone and Freddie, who had been performing in separate bands, Sly and the Stoners and Freddie & the Stone Souls, respectively, decided to merge the two groups, creating Sly and the Family Stone. With Stone as the lead singer, Freddie on guitar and vocals, their sister Rose on vocals and keyboard, Cynthia Robinson on trumpet, Greg Errico on drums, Jerry Martini on saxophone, and Larry Graham on bass, the band released their debut album, A Whole New Thing, in 1967. While the album was mildly received, it did feature their first hit single, 'Dance to the Music,' which they later included on their 1968 album of the same name.
