Nicola Coughlan, 38, looks smitten with boyfriend Jake Dunn, 25, as they make their red carpet debut at the Bafta TV Craft Award nominees party
appeared smitten with her boyfriend Jake Dunn as they made their red carpet debut at the Bafta TV and Craft awards nominees party on Thursday.
The Bridgerton actress, 38, and her Renegade Nell star partner, 25, could barely keep their eyes off each other as they arrived at London's Victoria and Albert Museum.
Nicola looked elegant for the evening in a figure-hugging black jacket dress which featured an eye-catching tulle bow on the back.
She layered the statement garment over a pair of black tights as she slipped into a pair of towering black platform heels.
To finish her chic ensemble, the blonde beauty toted her belongings around in a small satin micro bag.
Meanwhile Jake opted for a much more casual appearance as he stepped out in a pair of white trainers and a two-piece navy suit.
He layered his suit over a burgundy wool jumper and a white shirt which he opted to keep the top button open.
Nicola went Instagram official with Jake in February as she took to her Stories to celebrate her boyfriend's 25th birthday with a sweet post.
She shared a photo of Dunn sitting on what appears to be a set as he looked up at the sky.
'Happy Birthday ♥️,' she wrote on the post.
Nicola and Jake met after being after being introduced by her Derry Girls co-star and close friend Louisa Harland.
Following months of hiding the budding relationship, Nicola and Jake, finally confirmed their romance in October after they were spotted returning home hand-in-hand from a pub trip in North London.
Friends of the couple told MailOnline: 'They're absolutely besotted with each other and have so much fun together.
'Despite their busy schedules, they've slotted into each other's lives so easily as they share such a big group of mutual friends.'
Jake, who graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2023, has appeared in projects opposite Nicola's Derry Girls co-stars Louisa Harland and Dylan Llewellyn, 32.
Like Nicola, the London-born actor has also starred in a period drama, Disney's Renegade Nell, opposite Louisa.
The source added: 'When Derry Girls ended Nicola, Dylan and Louisa remained the best of friends and always supported each other in their careers so it made sense Nicola met Jake.'
While still at drama school, Jake was booked on for the Channel 4 Big Boys opposite Dylan and was written by Jack Rooke who is a close friend of Nicola's.
The gang of friends are big supporters of each other's work and are often spotted hanging out in North West London where Nicola has a house in the trendy Stoke Newington area.
In September, Jake posted an Instagram of Jack, 31, in a pub wearing a baseball cap which read Nicola Coughlan, matched with a t-shirt which read: 'And her perfect breasts.'
Louisa was also pictured wearing a baseball cap which read, 'Shady Whistledown' a nod to Jake's girlfriend's character in Bridgerton, Penelope Featherington, being the mysterious Lady Whistledown.
The pair were first spotted together as far back as March when posing for an Instagram story shared by one of Jake's co-stars in Renegade Nell.
In August the pair were seen at London's All Points East festival with their arms wrapped around each other dancing, but their relationship was not confirmed.
MailOnline can reveal the couple have enjoyed a summer with their network of close friends attending festivals, drinking Guinness and playing Scrabble at Nicola's local pub in Stoke Newington.
In October the couple were spotted in New York at a taping of the late-night comedy show, SNL, and one onlooker said: 'Her boyfriend stood by her side proudly while people kept coming up fan girling.'
While Nicola from Galway has been on the acting circuit for over ten years, finding her big break in the Channel 4 show Derry Girls, Jake is fresh out of drama school.
But the handsome British actor bagged the lead role in a Disney series, Renegade Nell, with a second series commissioned around him, several stage shows, a Netflix series and a feature film - all while still at drama school.
As a rising star in the industry, Jake boasts a slew of famous friends including the likes of The Trial of Christine Keeler's Ellie Bamber and Sex Education's Connor Swindell.

West Lothian Film Festival announces partnership with breast cancer support charity based in Bathgate
Breast Friends and Family emerged as the winner from 30 nominated organisations West Lothian Film Festival has confirmed that its first official charity partner is Breast Friends and Family. The announcement follows more than five months of public voting and 2,164 individual ballots cast, and the partnership will run for the next three years. Nominations opened in October last year and the public were invited to nominate and vote via social media for local causes they felt deserved recognition and support. There were 30 organisations in the running, with Breast Friends and Family emerging as the winner after securing more than 700 public votes. Breast Friends and Family aims to support patients through a breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery. Based on Glasgow Road in Bathgate they provide practical, emotional, and peer support for breast cancer patients across West Lothian. From its office, affectionately known as The Heart, the charity distributes treatment support bags, runs wellbeing sessions, and offers a vital sense of solidarity to those facing diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. West Lothian Film Festival has attracted 306 films — an unprecedented increase from last year's 82 submissions. All submissions are currently in the hands of the 20 strong volunteer judging panel. Festival Director Christopher McPhillips said: 'Every nominated charity had something meaningful to offer West Lothian, and we're grateful to have celebrated them all over the past five months. With 747 votes, Breast Friends and Family clearly resonated with our community, representing compassion, strength, and unity. 'The people of West Lothian chose them as their charity of choice, and we're proud to use our platform to support and celebrate the incredible work they do. While it's been an honour to spotlight 30 brilliant organisations, we're equally proud to now walk alongside Breast Friends and Family as our official partner for the next three years.' As part of the three-year charity partnership, the festival has committed to: full marketing and promotional support, volunteer days from the festival team, and a dedicated Breast Friends and Family showcase day at each edition of the festival from 2026 to 2028. Hazel Orr of Breast Friends and Family said: 'We were delighted to be nominated. The 30 nominated charities are all worthy charities and community groups, so we knew we faced some strong competition. 'On first meeting Christopher, we realised that this could be a fantastic opportunity for Breast Friends and Family, with so many ways he could help promote our charity through the film festival as well as his business associates and connections. It made us think about how we connect with our followers through social media, through our own Facebook and Instagram platforms and how we could encourage our followers to like, vote and share posts. 'We grabbed the opportunity offered by the film festival and Condor Entertainment, to go along on one of their media days, to record an interview about how the charity came about and what it provides. "We loved sharing the finished result. And, we took advantage of the leaflets and posters provided by Artos Digital and Clear Colour, not just taking them to our events but sharing with work colleagues, neighbours, family and friends, at every opportunity. 'Thank you, Christopher, and the West Lothian Film Festival for this fabulous opportunity, thank you to the 2000+ people who voted and to those who voted for Breast Friends and Family. There's also an online fundraiser been set up by the film festival for Breast Friends and Family:

So, do pop along and say hello. I'll be there - don't you worry! I'm looking forward to it." The news comes just days after the fourth season of Clarkson's Farm dropped on Prime Video. A fifth series is already in the works, but Jeremy admitted that the show might go on a break after then The fomer Top Gear presenter told The Sunday Times newspaper: "Whatever happens we'll definitely take a short break as the crews are all worn out. We've been filming here two or three days a week, every week, for five years. Everybody could do with a rest." Clarkson's Farm has proved to be a big hit since it first aired in 2021, with Kaleb soaring to fame as one of the main figures on the show. As a result, he recently embarked on a UK tour and has written a book. Whilst Kaleb was away on his live speaking tour, Jeremy was assisted by glamorous new farmhand Harriet Cowan. Clarkson then dismissed claims that Kaleb had been "replaced" on Clarkson's Farm. The 65-year-old presenter continued: "What happened is this, he went away on his speaking tour, for a couple of months because he imagined that after four years, I'd be able to manage on my own. I didn't – I made a complete mess of everything and had to bring in a young girl called Harriet. Harriet is brilliant and looked after the fort until he got back. That is it – that's the story!" Ever since former Top Gear star Jeremy, decamped to Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds, fans have been gripped by the trials and troubles the star has faced as he tried to earn a profit from his farm which is all documented in his hit series. He is aided by farm hand Kaleb, 26 - who often proves he is more informed on farming practices than his motor head boss.
