Stumbling across just one or two barn find cars can be pretty exciting, but just imagine coming across a huge collection like the one featured in the included video. Documented by The Bearded Explorer, a UK YouTuber who likes to check out abandoned locations, this is truly a breathtaking discovery. Row after row of dusty British and European classic cars have been hidden away from view, revealing how some collections are truly forgotten.
Check out the latest Motorious Podcast here.
The collection is so huge it's in multiple barns and spills to the outdoors as well. There are dozens and dozens of classic cars just sitting and it's amazing to see.
Of course, to a lot of gearheads this is almost like a nightmare come true. If you have your own vehicle collection and take great pains to keep every last ride looking and running nice, this isn't what you like to think about. The unpleasant truth is at some point these cars might have been similarly well cared for, only to have fallen into disrepair.
There are potentially many reasons for this to happen. If one's health were to fail, maintaining cars might take a backseat to paying steep medical bills or even just making it from one day to the next. Also possible is that the owner died, left these cars and building to someone else, and they simply haven't cared to maintain them.
The Bearded Explorer seems to have a propensity for discovering barn finds. He often discloses that he finds these remote, abandoned places through friends or contacts, something he mentions about this particular barn find collection. This flies in the face of some would-be barn find hunters' 'wisdom' that you don't need to really deal with people, just that you need to know all about cars and that alone will help you gain access.
Instead, if you want to make amazing discoveries like this, you need to be good with people, gain their confidence, and then they'll let you know about such hidden treasures. Yes, it helps if they know you're a true gearhead and know what to do with rotting old cars, but you first have to win them over as a person.

Veteran analyst says Tesla Stock's breakout rides on one key level

Veteran analyst says Tesla Stock's breakout rides on one key level originally appeared on TheStreet. Popular Fundstrat technical strategist Mark Newton feels Tesla's next big move hinges on a single chart line. According to him, Tesla () stock's chart is flashing a make-or-break signal, a level that's likely to determine where it ends up, at least in the near term. It's all about whether the bulls keep control or cede the upper hand to the bears, who've been the louder of the two this year. Momentum has been improving of late, but Newton's read is mostly straightforward. 💵💰💰💵 He feels that if investors respect this threshold, it opens the door for substantial upside potential, but if they fail, the trend risks rolling over. No matter which side you're on, that key level is worth watching closely this week. Falling deliveries and margin squeeze define Tesla's 2025 so far The first half of 2025 for Tesla has been mostly about dropping delivery numbers and dwindling profitability, pressuring its core automotive business. In Q1, deliveries dropped roughly 13% year over year, the steepest fall in roughly three years. A big part of that is Tesla navigating an aging car lineup, the Model Y plant overhaul, and a consumer backlash tied to Elon Musk's political decline got even worse in Q2, with global deliveries tanking 13.5% year over year, missing Street forecasts by a wide margin. Weakness in Europe and growing competition in China were major drags. Margins took a hit as well. Operating income plummeted a massive 42% from a year earlier, on the back of price cuts and incentives squeezing its bottom line compared with prior periods. On top of that, July registrations across major European markets were mostly soft, linked to ongoing regulatory hiccups and rival model launches, making things even more complicated. The net effect is that Tesla's near-term growth story has moved away from volume gains and is more about its potential long-term breakthroughs in autonomy and ride-hailing. Fundstrat's Newton: Tesla breakout hinges on $338 level Tesla shares are at the cusp of a critical chart point, according to Fundstrat technical strategist Mark Newton. His setup is simple. A daily close above the $338 mark will potentially open the door toward $368, while $300 remains a critical medium-term support level. At this point, Tesla stock is now trading near the $339 mark, which is just above Newton's breakout trigger. The question remains of whether it can hold that gain into the close and turn $338 from resistance into to Newton, if buyers effectively defend the level, the path to $368 is technically clear. Momentum levels have improved, and clean breakouts typically garner trend-following traders and short-covering from those bearish on the stock's moves. Typically, the first move following a key breakout is a retest of the pivot. That's basically a snapback toward $338, which effectively stabilizes and is constructive. For risk management, Newton feels that $300 is the 'line in the sand' for bulls. A decisive drop below that level may indicate that the rally is mostly just corrective rather than the start of a move higher. The bottom line is that a close above $338 keeps $368 in play. A snapback would argue for greater patience, with brighter buying spots closer to $338 on a successful retest or down near $300 if we see stronger momentum. Tesla's Texas Robotaxi license fuels stock pop Tesla stock is up almost 10% this week, and that rally has everything to do with Tesla's tangible steps in advancing its Robotaxi ambitions, along with encouraging demand signals. The headline move is Texas officially listing Tesla Robotaxi LLC as a Transportation Network Company (TNC). To put it simply, Tesla now has the legal right to operate a ride-hailing service statewide, just like Uber or Lyft. At the same time, it's working towards getting separate approvals for a fully driverless service. More News: Tesla just got its biggest break yet in the robotaxi wars with a key permit Bank of America drops shocking price target on hot weight-loss stock post-earnings JPMorgan drops 3-word verdict on Amazon stock post-earnings Under Texas's new SB 2807 framework, effective Sept. 1, fully autonomous operations need an additional DMV sign-off beyond the TNC license. In short, Tesla has the go-ahead for a driver-based rideshare network at this point, but also has a clear regulatory lane to scale automation later. On top of that, there's a small bump in demand for optics. Reports suggest that Model Y wait times have stretched to four to six weeks, a stark reversal from earlier in the summer. Though that metric isn't exactly gospel, longer waits initiate at tightening near-term deliveries. Taken together, the narrative for Tesla seems a lot cleaner. Tesla could potentially monetize ride-hailing sooner while working toward full autonomy, delivering the Robotaxi service as advertised over the past several analyst says Tesla Stock's breakout rides on one key level first appeared on TheStreet on Aug 12, 2025 This story was originally reported by TheStreet on Aug 12, 2025, where it first appeared.

The GP1 Looks Like a Greatest Hits Album of Analog Supercars

The latest car news, reviews, and features. A British outfit called Garagisti & Co. is making some waves this week with gorgeous renderings of its super-limited, super-expensive hypercar called the GP1. The design is supposed to be inspired by 'icons of the '80s, '90s, and early 2000s,' and the spirit is all old-school sports driving awesomeness. Non-turbo V12, six-speed manual, rear-wheel drive, and an interior like a midcentury modern psychiatrist's office. Or maybe I'm just projecting that last bit—because it looks like driving this thing would be deeply therapeutic after being bombarded by screens in any other modern vehicle. The car looks complete in these images, and looking at them on a small screen, I thought they were photos at first myself. But the company's press release confirms that they are, in fact, digital renders. Garagisti & Co. states that the car is 'now in advanced stages of engineering and production.' I'm guessing the company's people wanted to roll out the idea to be part of the hypercar hype-wave that is Monterey Car Week, which is currently underway. Unfortunately, few of us will ever see one of these in person anywhere, let alone drive it, as the GP1's creators are only planning to make 25 and charging over $3.3 million (£2.45 million, to be exact) each. Still, it's a very pretty interior and exterior design that simultaneously looks unique while reminding me of a few different cars in the elite class of low-production performance machines. I see a lot of Ford GT, some Lamborghini, Lancia, some Ferrari … any elements look particularly familiar to you? Garagisti & Co. has some big-name supplier collaborators, like Brembo (brakes), Öhlins (suspension), and Xtrac (transmission). But the fact that it's making a 'completely new and bespoke' engine is exceptionally wild. And probably a big part of why the price is so high. I think it's madness to make an entirely custom engine just for 25 cars—how the heck is anybody supposed to find parts for this in five years? Very cool, extremely impractical. I guess that's what cars at this level are kind of all about, though. Garagisti & Co. The V12 will have 6.6 liters of displacement, rev to 9,000 rpm, and claim 800 horsepower (and 'over' 516 lb-ft of torque). Since the car is only supposed to weigh 2,200 pounds (dry), that should be enough juice to enter orbit. It's not clear where the motor's at in development, but conceptually, it sounds awesome. So does the ethos behind the whole project. 'Our vision for Garagisti was born from a simple question,' said Garagisti & Co. co-founder Mario Escudero in a press release. 'What if the golden age of analogue supercars never ended? What if icons like the Countach Evoluzione had sparked a lineage rather than a dead-end? What would the great cars of the '80s, '90s and early 2000s look like today if they'd evolved with new technology but kept their analogue soul? We brought together some of the best minds in the world and answered that question with our hands, our hearts, and our passion. The GP1 is our answer.' Swipe through here to see some more renders of this magnificent beast: The company describes itself as 'a coalition of specialists, not generalists,' listing out key collaborators: I like this trend of super-fancy cars leaning into the ideas of tactility and analoginess. Here's hoping the notion trickles back down to more basic brands and old-world warmth makes a comeback over the kitchen appliance aesthetic so many mid-range cars are leaning into these days. Leasing sector reports enhanced relationships with OEM partners: BVRLA

The British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) has released the findings from its annual Member OEM Relationship survey, indicating an enhancement in the relationship between leasing companies and their OEM [original equipment manufacturer] counterparts. The latest data from 2025 shows a slight rise in contentment levels, with the average satisfaction score reaching 7.1 out of a possible 10, up from the 6.6 recorded in 2024. The introduction of the Net Promoter Score (NPS) as a new metric has provided a more nuanced view of the industry's dynamics. The overall NPS stood at +3.7 across the 27 manufacturers assessed, with the leading five brands each garnering scores of 40 and above. However, the report also pointed out areas where relationships have deteriorated since 2024. Notably, leasing companies reported the 'biggest decline' in their satisfaction with access to vehicle data and the availability of connected services. BMW maintained its position as the best-performing OEM overall. The survey reached out to 64 BVRLA members and received responses from 44% of them, representing a diverse range of leasing operations. Participants were asked to limit their feedback to a maximum of 20 manufacturers, focusing on those with which they had substantial dealings. Speaking to Fleet News, BVRLA head of research and insight Phil Garthside said: 'Some OEMs are clearly setting the standard while others have an opportunity to improve by adopting best practices. 'The new entrants are working hard to get on leasing company radars, and it's paying off. They're not just adding variety to choice lists; they're competing on service and ease of doing business.' In January, the BVRLA reported a 1.4% growth in its leasing fleet for 2024. This increase has been largely driven by heightened interest in electric vehicles provided by companies. This growth has helped mitigate the impact of a decline in demand for personal lease agreements and vans, as detailed in the BVRLA's Leasing Outlook report.
