Nicole Kidman Posts Rare Pic with Her Mother & Two Daughters

Yahoo21-05-2025
Mother's Day certainly brought all of the feels for all of our favorite royals, actors and celebrities—including Nicole Kidman, who took to Instagram to post a sweet picture with her mother, Janelle, and her daughters, Faith (14) and Sunday (16). Sharing a picture of the family vacationing in Uluru, aka Ayers Rock in Australia, Kidman cheerfully captioned the post,"My mother and my daughters in Uluru, beautiful memories…always. Happy Mother's Day." The comments were equally sweet, with fans leaving adoring messages such as "beautiful family" and heart-eye emojis.
Kidman, who is married to singer Keith Urban, expressed just how much the people in her life mean to her at the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala in 2024, telling the crowd, "Right there is the love of my life, and the loves of my life. My daughters have never been anywhere publicly with me on a red carpet, tonight was their first night, so they're here, Sunday and Faith. And then there's all my nieces and nephews and my sissy and my beautiful aunt and her husband, who's our family now. And this is all because of you, and I love you so much. So there's no place like home, as they say. You're my home. And thank you for flying halfway across the world."
Aside from spending time with the fam, Kidman is also enjoying the release of her latest film Holland, which has received a rave review from Senior Commerce Editor, Stephanie Maida. "The beginning of the movie reminded me of yet another Kidman classic: The Stepford Wives,' Maida writes in her review. "Kidman always nails it as a woman on the brink, while Macfadyen and García Bernal stepped into their roles perfectly—the former an aggravatingly cloying husband with a penchant for 'boops' on the nose, the latter, a nerve-wracked man who'll do anything for love."
A wonderful Mother's Day, a new movie and breaking the internet with a bold, pantless look—Nicole Kidman is absolutely living her best life.

Duchess Meghan turns 44: British royal gets sweet birthday shoutout from As Ever brand

Duchess Meghan may be busy building her business kingdom, but today she's being crowned. The British American royal and entrepreneur, who turned 44 on Monday, Aug. 4, received a warm birthday shoutout on Instagram from her lifestyle brand As Ever, which launched in April to fan acclaim. The company, which has become known for its homey aesthetic and assortment of fruit spreads, herbal teas and baking mixes, shared a black-and-white photo of the duchess wearing a sun dress and wide-brimmed hat alongside its celebratory message. "Celebrating the woman behind it all," the company wrote in the post's caption. "She pours her heart, vision and magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder @meghan 🥂" See Duchess Meghan's daughter Lilibet: Young princess makes adorable cameo in As Ever teaser Meghan, who is married to Prince Harry, has yet to share any glimpses of her birthday festivities with her 4.1 million Instagram followers. The Duchess of Sussex has been more open about her family life with Harry, which includes children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, with a series of candid posts. Meghan first teased As Ever in March 2024 when she made a buzzy return to Instagram after a yearslong social media hiatus to introduce fans to the lifestyle project, formerly named American Riviera Orchard. The duchess later revealed she renamed the brand As Ever because the previous title, a reference to her and Harry's Montecito residence, "limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area." The first As Ever drop sold out in under an hour, and one product — the limited-edition wildflower honey with honeycomb for $28 — had fans buzzing, selling out in less than five minutes. The featured products in the company's first collection included $12 herbal tea in three flavors: hibiscus, peppermint and lemon ginger. 'You have to be authentic': Duchess Meghan responds to twerking video backlash The lifestyle brand teased its upcoming release, a vintage rosé wine, in an Instagram video on Aug. 3. "Goodness in a glass. Right around the corner... Cheers to August!" the company wrote alongside the teaser. As Ever is produced alongside Netflix, which also distributes Meghan's lifestyle show "With Love, Meghan." The series premiered in March and was quickly renewed for a second season, although a release date has not been announced. Contributing: Taijuan Moorman and Jay Stahl, USA TODAY

Love Island: Who is the TOWIE cast member Ben and Tommy both ‘kissed' at same event?

Love Island's Tommy Bradley and Ben Holbrough have confessed to kissing the same girl at the same event, so who is the mystery woman? While appearing on tonight's grand Love Island finale, the pair were interviewed about their relationships with the women they left the show with. Tommy confessed he and Lucy were no longer together, after he had kissed a woman at an event he went to. He explained: "I went to my first event, free bar, unlimited drinks. Half an hour, five blue lagoon cocktails. This girl came up to me." Host Maya Jama then asked if he and Lucy were exclusive at this point to which he said no they weren't before adding: "I went to an event and kissed someone." Tommy then clarified that it was "disrespectful" to Lucy and the pair are now just friends. Before his interview ended Tommy added that he "didn't remember" the kiss. Ben was then asked about his relationship status with Andrada, whom he left the Villa with. To this Ben began speaking and said: "I was at the same event [as Tommy]." Andrada then added: "with the same girl." The crowd reacted in shock with Ben and Tommy looking embarassed. So who is the mystery woman the pair both kissed at the same event? Here's what you need to know about her. Earlier this week it was revealed Ben and Andrada had split after pictures emerged of Ben holding hands with TOWIE star Dani Imbert at the event Ben had attended with Tommy. The pair were said to be very intimate during the evening, with a source telling The Sun: "There was instant attraction from the moment they met - they spent two hours kissing at the party it was all very intimate. It's clearly very much over with Andrada as Dani seemed to be the only thing on his mind." Given Ben's closeness to Dani, it's likely she is the same woman Tommy kissed at the event. Dani, 27, is best known for appearing on ITV's reality series TOWIE, having joined the show in 2021. She has over 125,000 followers on Instagram. Love Island is available for catchup on ITVX now

‘Love Island face' trend prompts warning about ‘filler blindness' from alarmed experts: ‘They already look older'

They came for the cash, the coupling and the camera time — but what really stole the show on 'Love Island' this most recent season? The faces. Frozen foreheads. Inflated lips. Razor-sharp jawlines. Cheekbones you could slice bread on. It's the rise of the so-called ''Love Island' face' — a hyper-snatched, hyper-symmetrical, hyper-injected aesthetic that's turning heads for all the wrong reasons. Advertisement And yes, experts are alarmed. According to double board-certified facial plastic surgeon Dr. Angela Sturm, the signature villa look is saturated with filler. 4 The show is known to have cast members who look like they've gotten a lot of cosmetic work done. Advertisement 'It's everywhere,' she told PureWow in a recent interview, 'but notably in their cheeks, lips and chin.' Add in the Botox and what you get is the full frozen package. 'It's like makeup. Certain looks may look OK in pictures, but not look natural in person or on video.' And that, folks, is the problem. Many of the 'Love Island' contestants are Gen Zers — aka the first generation to grow up entirely under the unforgiving gaze of the front-facing camera. They're seeking love, likes and lip flips — often in that order. Advertisement 4 Enter the era of the 'Love Island face' — a hyper-snatched, over-injected look that's raising brows and red flags in equal measure. (Above: Huda Mustafa) NBC But beneath the plump pouts and arched brows is something deeper. 'It represents our culture's pursuit of perceived safety through conformity,' Erin Pash, therapist and founder of Pash Co, dished to the outlet. There's also a control factor. 'In an uncertain world, changing your appearance can feel like one area where you have agency over your social success,' she explained. But sometimes that 'success' backfires. Advertisement A so-called 'glow-down' trend is now underway — a quiet rebellion against all things overdone, with Gen Z and Millennials rushing to dissolve their filler, remove their implants and return to a more natural look. 4 'Love Island' bombshells are mostly Gen Z — the selfie-raised generation chasing clout, coupling and killer lip filler, usually in that order. Strelciuc – 'Patients today don't want to look different; they just want to look better,' Upper East Side plastic surgeon Dr. David Hidalgo told The Post. 'They're just not into overdoing it anymore.' Even 'Love Island UK' royalty Molly-Mae Hague has hit undo. 'If filler had been a permanent thing, and I wasn't able to reverse what I'd done, I could have genuinely, completely destroyed my face,' she admitted. 4 Behind the puffed-up pouts and sky-high brows lies something deeper — a desperate dash for safety through sameness, experts say. DimaBerlin – And it's not just regret — it's fatigue. 'Patients do filler for a long time, and sometimes it gets to a point where it's just overdone,' said Hidalgo. 'They don't look natural anymore, and they just abandon the whole thing.' Dr. Sturm warned, ''Love Island face' likely won't age well, either. 'They already look older, and we'll continue to see filler migration and filler blindness,' she cautioned — referring to the phenomenon where people can't even tell they've overdone it — to PureWow. Advertisement According to Dr. Lanna Cheuck, the tide is turning: 'I think we're entering an era of transparency, reversal of fillers, especially lips and cheeks,' she told The Post. 'The industry is really heading towards more natural and regenerative procedures.' And if that means the Islanders go from 'bombshell' to 'back to basics,' the real glow-up might just be… less.
