Tom Cruise and His 'New Love' Ana de Armas Are Spotted on Yacht

Cosmopolitan18-07-2025
It seems like Ana de Armas and Tom Cruise might be the latest A-listers looking for love. According to pics obtained by the Daily Mail, the Oscar nominees were recently spotted vacationing on a yacht in Menorca, Spain, wearing matching straw fedora hats and getting cozy in conversation. While neither has confirmed the nature of their relationship, an insider opened up about their budding connection with the outlet.
'Tom has been showering Ana with gifts ever since they met. It's his thing—he is thoughtful,' the source said. 'First, it started with her favorite flowers, then books he thought she would want to read because she's an avid reader.'
The insider continued, 'The more they got to know each other, the bigger the gifts became. There has been jewelry, like gold bracelets and designer clothing, things like that, things every girl would love. Probably the biggest gift he has given her is being able to go anywhere in the world at a moment's notice. Not many people can do that.'
The pair first sparked romance rumors in February, when they were photographed during a dinner outing in London. At the time, another source denied dating rumors, telling People that they were with their agents 'discussing potential collaborations down the line' and 'appeared to have no romantic connection, just friends.'
During her From the World of John Wick: Ballerina press tour in May, Ana confirmed that she and Tom had a few projects lined up, telling Good Morning America that they were 'working together on a lot of things.'
Tom also pulled up to support Ana at the premiere of Ballerina on June 3, and she expressed her gratitude for the Mission: Impossible star on the red carpet.
She said that he's been 'unbelievable' and 'really amazing' at showing up for her, telling Variety, 'But you know what, he supports every movie. He really wants the industry and cinema to go well, and people going to the theaters.'
Neither Tom nor Ana has revealed details surrounding their future projects, but for now, it seems that their bond might be purely professional.

MGK Says His Haters Are Just ‘Conformists' Who Pretend to Dislike Him to ‘Fit In'

MGK pays no mind to the people who would gladly purchase tickets to his downfall, as the musician born Colson Baker — and formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly — has revealed that he thinks his haters are merely 'conformists' who can't think for themselves. In an interview with People published Wednesday (Aug. 6) ahead of his new album Lost Americana, MGK opened up about why he isn't bothered by his critics. 'The hate for me has become so pop culture that it's almost like that's automatically what you say to fit in,' he told the publication. More from Billboard Machine Gun Kelly Dons Disguise on 'Kimmel' and Finds Out What People Really Think: 'Not a Huge Fan' MGK Busts Out Killer Jim Carrey Impression, Confirms Bob Dylan Narrated Album Trailer: 'No Idea How He Even Knows Who I Am' Myke Towers & Quevedo Set Charts Ablaze With 'Soleao' 'That s–t doesn't even mean anything to me,' he continued. 'I've let it go completely to where I'm like, 'Oh, that's a joke.' I've realized they're the conformists — you don't even hate me for a reason that you can actually think of, because all I do is entertain, and entertainment can't be that serious.' The rapper-turned-rocker went on to note that most of the hate he gets comes from men. 'I think men let their insecurity rule their entirety,' he mused. 'I think to them, they're like, 'He's supposed to be like this, because this is this carnal, archaic way of what men are …' I'm like, 'Look, we can be protectors and all these other things that we're supposed to be, and also be expressive and vulnerable and emotional, and we can dress how we want, look how we want.'' The interview comes just two days before Lost Americana is set to arrive, with MGK appearing to embrace a rootsier musical sound on the LP after previously cutting his teeth on rap music before pivoting to punk rock on albums Tickets to My Downfall and Mainstream Sellout. To promote the record, the Cleveland-bred musician enlisted one of Americana's biggest heroes, Bob Dylan, to narrate a trailer that dropped in June. At the time, it was unclear whether it was actually Dylan's voice in MGK's video — but on a recent late-night appearance, the latter confirmed that it was authentic. 'To be honest, I have no idea how he even knows who I am to this day,' MGK said on The Tonight Show on Monday (Aug. 4). 'Something's going on in the stars where, like, good things keep happening … I don't know how it keeps happening.' MGK's experimentation with various genres over the course of his career is one of several reasons why he thinks certain people hate him without actual cause. But as he said to People, he just doesn't care: 'I became so hated for, what has become apparent to me, no reason … just because I artistically express myself, through fashion, music, whatever.' He added, 'I choose to not stay contained into a societal box.' Liam Neeson's Longtime Manhattan Penthouse Sells for $10.3 Million

Photo: Krisztina Crane Liam Neeson has officially split with his New York apartment. City property records reveal that the Irish actor has offloaded his Manhattan pad for $10.3 million—about a half a million dollars short of the Upper West Side home's asking price from earlier this year. The buyers are listed as Martin Zetterberg and Joanmarie Zetterberg, per the New York Post. The Taken star initially listed his Manhattan dwelling in 2024 for $12.75 million. He later pulled the residence off the market before re-listing it with a discount to $10.75 million in March 2025 under a different brokerage. Neeson has maintained the Lincoln Square pad since 1999. He originally purchased it for $4 million and resided there with his late wife, English actor Natasha Richardson, and their two sons. Built in 1994, the modern high-rise contains 56 floors. It has become a celebrity enclave over the years, with Howard Stern and Jon Bon Jovi among its past residents. Neeson's unit is situated on the 28th floor; he lived in a 4,524-square-foot space with five bedrooms and five bathrooms, which were assembled by merging three separate units into one. His compounded luxury apartment opens to a lofty foyer, a corner family room, and floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping 360 views of the Manhattan skyline. The dwelling boasts an open concept chef's kitchen outfitted with luxury appliances, a pantry, and a large dining area. The main bedroom hosts two spa-like baths, a gym, and a home office-slash-library with views of Central Park. The rest of the abode features custom built-ins to showcase Neeson's extensive art collection. The Oscar winner divides his time between a few dwellings in his portfolio, including a 6,000-square-foot country home in Millbrook, New York, and properties in his native Ireland. Neeson revealed to People that he plans on retiring from Hollywood in the near future.
