Man credits ChatGPT for his 27 kg weight loss in 6 months but learnt a bigger lesson for life

Artificial intelligence has evolved beyond being a clever shortcut for students cramming for last-minute assignments. It's now proving to be a personal fitness coach, a life strategist, and a motivator. One YouTuber, who documents his life journey on the channel My Life By AI, recently shared how he successfully shed excess weight and reclaimed control over his health and productivity—all with the help of AI.
The Power of an AI-Guided Lifestyle Overhaul
In a YouTube video released on July 12, 2025, the creator revealed his six-month-long journey toward a healthier life. Central to this transformation was a digital assistant he named Arthur—a virtual coach developed using AI tools like ChatGPT. With Arthur's help, he constructed an 'AI-assisted life system,' a comprehensive framework that governed nearly every aspect of his day. From meal planning and exercise routines to managing his content calendar, Arthur functioned as a holistic guide.

He programmed ChatGPT to act as a decision-maker for his daily habits, essentially outsourcing life management to the AI. This radical change marked the beginning of a lifestyle shift that would soon yield visible and measurable results.
Major Progress in Just Half a Year
Six months into this AI-led regimen, the impact was undeniable—he had dropped 60 pounds (about 27 kilograms). Beyond the physical transformation, he noted an improvement in mood, focus, and overall energy levels. The consistency enforced by the AI system not only enhanced his fitness journey but also reignited his passion for content creation. Now, he is on the verge of becoming a full-time YouTuber, crediting AI for providing the structure and discipline he lacked earlier.
Early Struggles and Lifestyle Pitfalls
His path wasn't smooth. The YouTuber candidly spoke about his initial setbacks and food temptations. He described indulgent weekends filled with fast food—burgers, fries, beer—followed by guilt and a spiral of unhealthy eating. These repeated lapses pushed him farther from his goals. But with Arthur's guidance, he slowly built healthier habits—walking several kilometers daily, lifting weights, and targeting core workouts. The AI kept him accountable, helping him stay focused and avoid emotional setbacks.
Cleaner Choices, Smarter Meals
The shift wasn't just about movement—it was also about mindful eating. With AI-driven meal planning, he eliminated processed snacks, sugary drinks, and empty calories. The transformation extended into the kitchen, where his meals became more intentional and nutritious.
He gave viewers a peek into his everyday diet. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs topped with a light sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and a slice of toast. Lunch typically features a hearty mix of chili beef, rice, and refried beans. Dinner, the most diverse meal, includes baked chicken, roasted sweet kumara (a type of sweet potato), charred red capsicum, courgettes, and a serving of Greek yogurt.
Redefining AI's Role in Daily Life
What began as a tech experiment evolved into a complete lifestyle reboot. The man explained that Arthur taught him the power of being consistent. "Letting AI run my life didn't make me perfect. But it made me consistent. It taught me to roll with the punches, and that's what changed everything," he said.

Ram Kapoor shares his energy secret with Sadhguru connection, says 'pichhle 20 saal mein sikhaya gaya, sab galat hai'

'The less you eat, the more energy you have,' said actor Ram Kapoor, setting the tone for a conversation that was equal parts shocking, funny, and food for thought, quite literally. Appearing on comedian Bharti Singh's podcast with actress Mona Singh, Kapoor opened up about his eating habits, spiritual influences, and why he believes everything we've been taught about food may be, well, a marketing gimmick. When Ram Kapoor said eating just one meal a day boosts energy, he wasn't exactly claiming to be a role model. 'Main nahi karta hoon,' he clarified, but he was quick to praise those who do, like his co-guest Mona Singh, who calmly confessed, 'I eat one meal a day.' He claimed that eating two meals a day is actually 'overeating,' and slammed the three-meal-a-day norm as a conspiracy by the food industry, 'Teen meal khaao, cereal khaao… sab galat hai. Yeh sab food industry ko promote karne ke liye kiya gaya tha.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like SRM Online MBA | India's top ranked institute SRM Online Learn More Undo Bharti Singh's Comeback: 'Main toh chaar khaati hoon!' Of course, it wouldn't be a Bharti Singh podcast without some classic punchlines. When Kapoor dropped the two-meal truth bomb, Bharti laughed, 'Main toh chaar khaati hoon!' Kapoor, not to be outdone, replied, 'Main toh 10 khaata tha. Beech-beech mein saans lene ke liye rukna padta tha.' Live Events But behind the laughter was a real question, can fewer meals actually make us healthier? What's the Fuss About OMAD and Intermittent Fasting? Kapoor's words echo a rising trend, OMAD (One Meal A Day) and intermittent fasting. These diets are gaining popularity for their supposed benefits: increased energy, weight loss, better focus. But do they work for everyone? And more importantly, are they safe? Let's face it, most Indians don't live in luxury, with chefs and nutritionists on call. Long commutes, irregular work hours, and varied dietary needs make 'one meal a day' a tricky proposition. Doctors warn that extreme fasting can lead to fatigue, nutrient deficiency, or even binge eating later in the day. What works for a celebrity may not work for the average person struggling with 10-hour shifts and traffic jams.

Kapil Sharma's Weight Loss Journey Wasn't Easy: ‘He Was Sleep-Deprived,' Says Trainer

In a recent interview, Kapil Sharma's fitness trainer - Yogesh Bhateja opened up about how he trained the actor and comedian. He mentioned that the transformation was not easy. Kapil Sharma has surprised many with his recent weight loss, and now his fitness trainer, Yogesh Bhateja, is opening up about how it all happened. The transformation wasn't easy; the actor and comedian had trouble sleeping and followed an irregular diet, making the journey quite challenging. In a YouTube interview on Mad Over Growth with Nitin Bajaj, Yogesh, who has also trained celebrities like Farah Khan, Kangana Ranaut, and Sonu Sood, talked about how the journey began. He shared that Sonu Sood introduced him to Kapil Sharma during the promotions of Happy New Year. Soon after, Kapil's manager contacted Yogesh, saying that the comedian was ready to start his fitness journey. Yogesh started training Kapil at his home, using basic tools like a yoga mat, resistance bands, and Kapil's treadmill. More gym equipment was added later. Watch the video here. Recalling the first day of training, Yogesh said, 'The story of Day 1 is actually pretty funny. I asked him to do stretches, and because he hadn't moved his body in a long time, even simple movements like arm rotations, body twists, and toe touches caused him discomfort. His expressions were so exaggerated and comic… From the very next day, he was back on schedule, and we began with basic movements. That's when I realised how stiff his body had become; there was no food discipline, and a lot of inflammation in his body." He also shared that Kapil's busy work life made things worse. 'Since Kapil was the main guy, the responsibility on him was even greater. He was sleep-deprived, his diet had no set pattern, and he would eat at odd times. There was no discipline. It took me a long time, along with his manager and team, to bring some alignment into his lifestyle. But by God's grace, when his film came out, everyone saw the difference on screen," Yogesh added. As for his meals, Yogesh made changes by adding more fish, calling it 'a great source of protein that helps manage calories." He also included a good amount of vegetables in Kapil's diet. Fans first noticed Kapil's slimmer look in April this year, when he was seen at the airport looking much fitter. While his weight has gone up and down in the past, he's now in great shape and regularly posts stylish photos on social media. On the work front, Kapil is currently hosting Season 3 of The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show on Netflix. He is also working on the sequel to his 2015 film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, and shared its first look during Eid this year. view comments First Published: July 26, 2025, 10:57 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
