Taylor Swift earns another chart-topper in the United Kingdom this week — but this time, the tune isn't brand new. Thanks to a special re-release, 'Fortnight,' her collaboration with Post Malone, opens at No. 1 on a chart it had never even appeared on before. The relaunch doesn't only adds another win to her impressive tally, it also gives her duet partner a very special leader.
'Fortnight' returns to three charts in the U.K., and it's a big winner on all of them. The track reappears on top of both the Official Singles Sales and Official Physical Singles lists, reclaiming the top spot on the two. It also enters the Official Vinyl Singles ranking for the first time, where it also hits No. 1 – but in this case, for the first time.
The renewed success is thanks to the song's recent release on vinyl, which helped spark a new wave of purchases among fans. Swift's audience has a long-standing reputation for buying whatever she releases—and buying it in bulk—and that's especially true when it comes to vinyl, a format that continues to thrive in part because of her efforts.
The cut's arrival at No. 1 on the Official Vinyl Singles chart marks another victory for the pop icon, who claims her third ruler on the ranking. Previously, she reached the summit with 'Teardrops on My Guitar' back in 2019 and again with 'The Lakes,' a song featured on the deluxe edition of Folklore.
Including her trio of No. 1s, Swift has now placed half a dozen tracks inside the top 10 on the Official Vinyl Singles chart. Both 'Picture to Burn' and 'Our Song' climbed as high as No. 4, while 'Tim McGraw' — one of her earliest releases — came in just behind them at No. 5.
Among her charting vinyl efforts, only one has failed to crack the top 10. 'Should've Said No' peaked at No. 23, though it did manage to spend more than a week on the roster — something not all of her titles can claim.
While Swift is fairly used to dominating the vinyl-specific ranking in the U.K,, the same can't be said for Malone. 'Fortnight' marks the rapper/singer's first No. 1 on the Official Vinyl Singles list in the country.
In addition to its strong start on the vinyl list, 'Fortnight' also returns to the peak position on two other U.K. rankings: the Official Singles Sales and Official Physical Singles charts. The track previously climbed to No. 1 on both tallies back in May 2024, and now it's back almost a year later. So far, 'Fortnight' has spent 18 weeks on the list of the best-selling songs in the U.K. and just two frames on the physical-specific tally.
'Fortnight' was issued on a seven-inch white vinyl single for Record Store Day 2025, and it quickly became a must-have for collectors, especially in the U.K. Side A of the limited edition includes the original version of 'Fortnight,' while side B features a remix by Blond:ish. That cut had already been released digitally, but never on vinyl.

'For the first time ever, all of Taylor Swift's albums received over 2 million daily streams on Spotify,' X account @chartstswift posted. It marks the first time ever any recording artist has had every one of their albums hit 2 million streams each all in the same day. Swift also had a milestone day on Saturday, seeing the biggest streaming day for any female artist this year, hitting 65 million streams on Spotify, despite not releasing any new music since April 19, 2024, when 'The Tortured Poets Department' was made available. There have been reports that Swift is expected to work on a new album for an end-of-year-release, but nothing has been confirmed by anyone in the 14-time Grammy winner's camp about it yet. Swift and Kelce have been spotted a few times this offseason having a date night, but the couple has actively been avoiding the public eye since the Super Bowl. But with the 2025 NFL season right around the corner, Chiefs fans will be seeing a lot more of the 'Fortnight' singer as it's been reported Swift is expected to attend most, if not all of Kelce's home games this season.
