A source quoted by the portal said, 'From a star-cast of 19 acclaimed actors to the logistical challenges of shooting at real locations with a massive ensemble – Housefull 5 was among the most difficult films to set up for Sajid Nadiadwala. He has made a lavish 'Killer Comedy' for the audience, without compromising on the costs.'
According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film has raked in Rs 4.38 crore in advance ticket sales by selling 1,41,086 tickets. The film has a total of 14,669 shows across the nation. However, this data is without considering block seats. If we include block seats, the film has already collected Rs 9.59 crore in advance booking.
Akshay Kumar has seen many flops in the past few years, including Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Khel Khel Mein, Sarfira, and Singham Again. The actor's 2025 release Sky Force also performed underwhelmingly. However, he tasted success with Kesari 2. Since Akshay's track record has been good with franchises, trade analysts expect the film to earn Rs 200 crore.

Given the trailer, the cast, and the setup, I am very confident that the film will open to great numbers. If the reports are great, and the film is entertaining like the other parts, I am sure it will go on to do great numbers. Imagine a cast that is such an eclectic mix of people, it's one of the most exciting lineups I have seen in a while. I would be fairly disappointed if Housefull 5 doesn't do a minimum of Rs 200 crore at the box office. It has the potential to entertain the audience.'
