Serena Williams jokes she 'died a little' during Super Bowl Halftime Show
Amid Kendrick Lamar's fiery performance of Not Like Us during his headlining set at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday night, the tennis champion took to the stage.
A close-up showed Serena doing a Crip Walk dance at the front of the stage while directing her gaze at the camera.
In a short clip posted to Instagram after the show, the entrepreneur declared, "Oh, I did not Crip Walk like that at Wimbledon, I would have been fined!"
And in another post shot shortly before the event, Serena was filmed working on her moves while her glam team applied the final touches to her make-up.
"Let's go Super Bowl halftime??! I died a little!" she captioned the post.
Serena's cameo was a fitting addition to Kendrick's Halftime Show, as they share a hometown of Compton, California.
However, many followers pointed out that her appearance during Not Like Us was seemingly another way for the hip-hop star to make a dig at Drake, as the sportswoman and Canadian rapper dated back in 2011.
"Ok I lied SERENA WILLIAMS doing a CRIP WALK on Drake's tomb (this performance) was THE BEST thing I've ever seen," one user wrote on X, while another added: "Serena Williams, Drake's ex-girlfriend, crip walking to #TheyNotLikeUs is diabolical."
Meanwhile, Kendrick also pointed to his highly publicised feud with Drake before launching into the diss track.
"I want to play their favourite song, but you know they love to sue," the 37-year-old declared, referring to his rival filing a defamation lawsuit against Universal Music Group (UMG) in January in which he alleged bosses at the music giant defamed him by promoting the song.
Drake, 38, has not yet responded to Kendrick's Super Bowl Halftime Show performance.
The Grammy Award winner also performed songs Luther and All the Stars with SZA as part of the spectacle, while Samuel L. Jackson made a cameo as Uncle Sam.
The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 during the game.

How to watch 'The Kingdom' — stream the Kansas City Chiefs docuseries online from anywhere
The Kansas City Chiefs offering up extensive access to its players, coaches and facilities for an entire season shows how confident they were of securing the 'threepeat'. From Week 1 it was clear that something wasn't right, but Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid damn near pulled it off regardless. Rather than the dazzling monument to limitless success that had been envisaged, "The Kingdom" has, therefore, been recast as a history of the franchise told through the lens of the 24/25 campaign. Here's how to watch "The Kingdom" from anywhere with a VPN. "The Kingdom" premieres on Thursday, August 14 in the U.S..• U.S. — ESPN via Sling or ESPN Plus or Disney Plus• Watch anywhere — try NordVPN risk-free KC started out with an unconvincing victory over the Ravens, which proved to be their entire season in microcosm. They recorded 14 further regular season wins that were stuttering at best, 11 of those being one-score games, and continued to grind their way through the playoffs, only to be torn to shreds by the Eagles in the Super Bowl. The six-part docuseries pulls the curtain back, not just on the training ground and dressing room, but on the players' and coaches' personal lives, though quite how much Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce content they got to shoot remains to be seen. It goes beyond surface-level too, with the trailer (embedded below) showing Reid in tears. The Chiefs coach is no stranger to tragedy. He lost his oldest son Garrett to a heroin overdose, and his second son, Britt, severely injured a five-year-old in a DWI car incident. Episode 2, titled "Don't Judge", will also aim to address the accusation that the Chiefs are happy to reward players' bad behavior just as long as they keep winning. Read on to see how you can watch "The Kingdom" from anywhere in the world. If "The Kingdom" isn't streaming where you are, that doesn't mean you have to miss out. With the right VPN (virtual private network), you can stream the docuseries from virtually anywhere. We've tested many options, and the best VPN you can get right now is NordVPN. It offers impressive connection speeds and compatibility with most devices. You can try it risk-free for 30 days if you take advantage of NordVPN's no-quibble money-back guarantee. Sit back and enjoy the show. Head to your streaming service app — ESPN Plus, for example — and watch "The Kingdom" online from wherever you are in the world. All six episodes of "The Kingdom" will be available to stream on both ESPN Plus and Disney Plus from Thursday, August 14 in the U.S.. "The Kingdom" also airs on ESPN as double-headers at 9 p.m. ET/PT and 10 p.m. ET/PT each thursday, starting August 14. ESPN is available on a selection of the best cable TV alternatives. You'll get the most bang for your buck from Sling TV, which has a lower starting price than Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV and Fubo. Sling includes ESPN in its Orange plan, which also carries ESPN2, ESPN3, TBS and TNT, and usually costs $45.99 per month. However, you'll get your first month half price. "The Kingdom" will stream on Disney Plus in territories outside the U.S. starting from August 15. The Disney Plus price starts from CA$7.99/£4.99/AU$13.99/month. Outside your home country? Meghan Markle Drops Season 2 Trailer For 'With Love, Meghan' — Here Are All The Subtle Details You Missed
The wait is finally over! Meghan Markle has finally given fans a much-anticipated first glimpse into season two of her Netflix lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan. The Duchess of Sussex released the trailer on Tuesday, August 12, revealing not just the premiere date – Tuesday, August 26 – but also a star-studded guest lineup. Taking to Instagram, Markle shared the exciting news with the caption, 'The best moments are made to be shared ✨ With Love, Meghan returns August 26th on @netflix.' While season one charmed us with appearances from the brilliant Mindy Kaling, makeup maestro Daniel Martin, and culinary legends Roy Choi and Alice Waters, season two is stepping things up in the best possible way. The sophomore season's roster includes the wonderfully candid Chrissy Teigen, style guru Tan France, and some of the most celebrated names in the culinary world including José Andrés, David Chang, Samin Nosrat, Christina Tosi, and Clare Smyth. But it's not just about the food and edible flowers – though let's be real, that's a major draw. The season also welcomes cultural influencers Jay Shetty and Radhi Devlukia, plus Markle's close friend Heather Dorak, founder of Pilates Platinum. We'll also see the return of Daniel Martin, her longtime friend and makeup artist, alongside IT Cosmetics founder, Jamie Kern Lima, who hosted Markle for her first podcast guest appearance earlier this year. 'I've been fortunate to have the people that I want on the show,' the Suits star shared at April's TIME100 Summit, and that genuine excitement is palpable. 'I've been really lucky. We have a great, great lineup.' The trailer itself is pure joy, set to the upbeat 'Rockin' Robin' by Bobby Day. We see Markle in her element – cooking, crafting, and creating. 'I could do this every day,' Teigen remarks at one point. 'Let's get creative and learn something new,' Markle says in voiceover, perfectly capturing the spirit of what makes this show special. Perhaps the most endearing moment of the trailer, however, comes when Markle playfully reveals, 'You know who doesn't like lobster? My husband.' Chef Andrés' response is perfect: 'And you married him anyway?' While the show wasn't filmed at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's actual Montecito home, due to security concerns, Markle revealed to PEOPLE that the couple's children have played a special part in the production. 'Archie did the [filming clapboard]! Sweet moments,' she shared. 'They would also come with my husband and visit me on set. I loved that my children were able to watch me working and see the balance of that, and understand what Mama does and is working to create and share. It was really special because up until then, they hadn't seen me at work.' With Love, Meghan season two will be released on Netflix on August 26.
