Miley Cyrus' rarely seen age-gap boyfriend joins her mom Tish and sister Brandi at album listening party
Miley Cyrus ' boyfriend Maxx Morando made a rare appearance Tuesday night as he stepped out to support the singer at her star-studded album listening party.
The Grammy winner, 32 — who's gearing up to release her ninth studio album Something Beautiful on May 30 — has been quietly dating the Lilly drummer since 2021.
Maxx was seen leaving the Chateau Marmont with Miley after she delivered a fiery live performance previewing tracks from the upcoming record.
With his signature long, curly black hair on full display, the musician took the wheel as Miley rode shotgun, chatting animatedly with an unidentified acquaintance in the back seat.
While A-listers like U2's Bono, Rita Ora, and Anya Taylor-Joy were among the big names in attendance, Miley's mom Tish and sister Brandi also made the guest list — despite recent family tension.

Maxx's public outing comes on the heels of his surprise cameo in the music video for Miley's latest single, End of the World.
Despite keeping a low profile for most of their relationship, the couple has slowly become more visible in recent months.
In March, Miley and Maxx made a rare red carpet appearance at the 97th Annual Academy Awards in Hollywood, later turning heads at the star-studded Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty.
Just weeks earlier, the pair were also spotted in New York City attending the SNL 50: The Anniversary Special, and later, the Homecoming Concert — where they were joined by Miley's mom Tish.
Their increasingly frequent public appearances have fueled speculation that the two may be ready to take their relationship to the next level — though neither has commented on what the future holds.
And Cyrus has also been open about their six-year age gap and told Harper's Bazaar last year, 'He looks at life really differently than I do.
'He grew up with a laptop. I had a desktop computer that I shared with my brothers and sisters...Honestly, he's raised our dog off Reddit.'
The Flowers hitmaker added, 'I'm like, "Are you sure we're supposed to be doing this?" And he's like, "On Reddit it says blah, blah, blah." He's very similar to me. We just don't take life too seriously.'
The singer appeared to be surrounded as she cut through the crowd at Chateau Marmont
Earlier this month, Miley out about where she stands with Tish and dad Billy Ray Cyrus, after months of speculation surrounding a rumored family rift.
The pop superstar had found herself in the middle of ongoing drama—just a day earlier, she reunited with Billy Ray, who has stirred headlines with pointed social media posts and a whirlwind romance with actress Elizabeth Hurley.
Meanwhile, Miley's mom Tish came under fire after fans noticed she had seemingly unfollowed her daughter on Instagram —a move she later denied.
The moment followed Tish's own reconciliation with daughter Noah Cyrus after their much-discussed falling out.
Miley took to Instagram to shut down the rumors and set the record straight.
'I rarely comment on rumors, but my mama and I are too tight for anything to ever come between us,' Miley wrote in a statement on her Instagram Story.
'She's my best friend. Like a lot of moms, she doesn't know how to work her phone and somehow unfollowed me — simple, coincidental and uninteresting.'
Miley also addressed her relationship with Billy Ray, 62, acknowledging their rocky past but insisting they're in a better place now.

'My dad and I have had our challenges over the years,' she continued. 'Now, in my 30s, family is my priority above all else. I'm at peace knowing bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing.'
She ended her post on a hopeful note, writing: 'Grateful for the good health and love that flows through my family.'
Miley also shared a heartwarming Instagram photo with her dad Billy Ray, as they came together to celebrate her brother Braison's 31st birthday.
The father-daughter duo looked to be in great spirits during the family gathering.
Speculation of a possible rift between Miley and Billy arose this year - and a few months earlier in March, a source told DailyMail.com that she is worried her father could ruin her music comeback.

'My neighbour lets his dog bark all night long so I got my petty revenge on him'
A man has shared his 'petty revenge' on his neighbour who lets his dog bark outside all night - and people are praising him for giving the owner a 'taste of his own medicine' A man has been lauded for his 'petty revenge' on a neighbour who allows their dog to bark outside all night long. He detailed how the incessant barking keeps him up at night and despite pleading with his neighbour to address the issue, the neighbour merely laughs it off. In an attempt to teach him a lesson, he decided to give his 'entitled' neighbour a taste of his own medicine, reports the Mirror. Sharing his story on Reddit, he said: "Every night from midnight to 3am his dog would bark non-stop right outside my bedroom. Deep loud echoing barks like he was announcing the end of the world. I asked my neighbour twice to bring the dog in. Both times he brushed it off with a smirk and said 'he's just doing his job'. "Cool. Then I'll do mine." With that, he began recording the barking on his phone and blasted it at full volume through a speaker against the wall at 6am to rouse his neighbour. He continued: "I repeated that for two mornings. No yelling. No threats. "Just his own dog giving him a taste of what I'd been dealing with. "On day three the dog was inside before 10pm. Hasn't barked at night since. Sometimes the best revenge is pressing play." Responding to his post, one user saod: "I had that problem so I'd put my speaker outside on my wall and played 'We Built this City on Rock and Roll' on repeat for three hours." Another user chimed in: "Wonderfully petty - and effective - love it!" A third user recounted: "My dad used to get up at 5am to go to work every day. Anytime the neighbour's dog woke him up during the night, they got a knock on the door around 5.30am. Dad would just casually let them know he was off to work and their dog woke him up." Another person shared: "When my neighbour's dog wouldn't stop barking out in their yard I took a flashlight and aimed the beam at the side of the house. "The stupid dog chased the beam of light and jumped all over the house. They would come out and yell 'King stop jumping!' and I would start all over again when they went back in... until they finally brought him in." One more user shared a noisy tenant story, posting: "Years ago my parents had a tenant who would play disco music at an appalling volume every morning at 2am. "We begged her to stop and she never did. I finally got fed up with her and my brother and I decided to get back at her. "We parked a very large first amp at her back door and then I added an additional 30 decibels to the song 'Ding Dong, the Witch is Dead' from the Wizard of Oz and attached my CD player to my brother's guitar amp and then we waited. "The next night her music went on and two minutes later, so did ours. "I thought her shoe was going to explode it was so loud. "It blasted out for about two minutes before I heard her yelling she was turning the music off. We had to repeat it a few times, but she eventually got the message."

Oasis album with 'poor production' still divides fans two decades later
The album, which celebrates 20 years since its release this week, is still a source of debate among fans - with some arguing it's their best album since the 90s. Now 20 years on, there's still one lesser-known Oasis album which still causes a stir among fans. Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher are all prepped for their sell-out worldwide gigs later in the year. The iconic reunion will see the brothers take to the stage for the first time in 16 years, with shows in Edinburgh Murrayfield, London and Manchester. Despite coming together after nearly two decades, debate continues among one of their albums. Whether any of the album's tracks will grace the setlist of their upcoming gigs is unknown, as their fanbase remains split. Don't Believe the Truth, which was released 20 years ago today, 30 May back in 2005, continues to spark discussion on its quality. Rapidly becoming one of Britain's quickest-selling albums, it received positive reviews upon release. However, discussions have been heating up on Reddit, where passionate Oasis fans deliberate the album's merit, with some branding certain songs as lacklustre "filler" material, reports the Mirror. One fan threw out the question: "Opinions on Don't Believe the Truth? What are everyone's thoughts and opinions on Don't Believe the Truth? I've only listened to the album start to finish once and it really bored me. It's an album I really want to like and I'm considering giving it another chance, should I?". The album continues to divide opinion among listeners, with some feeling it doesn't measure up to the initial critical acclaim. One listener voiced their disappointment with the album's lesser-known songs. They stated, "Singles are very good but fillers are boring and bland, Heathen Chemistry is a better album overall despite having some weak moments. I still prefer Don't Believe the Truth singles to those on Dig Out Your Soul though." A further supporter expressed reservations about how the tracks were handled in production: "I love the album, but I just think it suffers from poor production. The songs are good, but they all sound muffled and don't have that wall of sound the first two albums did." Another admirer took a more favourable view, considering it a standout, as they noted "It's the best one of the last three albums." They continued their praise, suggesting it signalled a resurgence, "It did feel like a 'return to form'. Importance of Being Idle was massive, and had a spark of clever and original songwriting again." When discussing specific songs, production value once again came under scrutiny: "A Bell Will Ring had that Beatles 'up in the sky' vibe." One critique focused on how the album has weathered over time: "The retro production, stripped back to just support the songs, was a revelation after the dreary, distortion dad rock-by-numbers approach of HC imo. However, it has aged extremely badly." One listener bluntly stated: "The production sounds like muffled sh** now, the backing elements added to each tune are laughable and sound terrible (like the backing vox on Love Like a Bomb) and Liam is doing a Liam caricature throughout. In retrospect it feels like it was all a bit of a con job, the title quite apposite." Sharing the same sentiment about the album's failure to stand the test of time, another user expressed: "I think this album is the most dated of any Oasis album tbh, it's just totally unremarkable for the most part. "The songs are fine but not spectacular and Dave Sardy's production style of this album is just dreary (much like Noel's first solo album). Any life the songs had is sucked out by Sardy's chosen approach."
