Pooja Hegde Reveals She Takes ‘Paid Trolls' As A Compliment: ‘I Think That If…'
Pooja Hegde has spoken candidly about her approach to dealing with online hate and paid trolls. In an interview, the actress shared how she has learned to navigate negativity on social media and turn it into something that doesn't affect her. She mentioned that she takes it as a compliment.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Pooja Hegde was quoted saying, 'When it started, my mom was really upset by reading stuff. But I used to take it as a compliment, because I think that if somebody feels the need to pull you down, you're above them. Also, I genuinely think that Karma is a thing, and whatever you put out there, good or bad, comes back."
Further continuing the conversation, she spoke on the difference between social media followers and actual ticket buyers saying, 'There are followers, and today its great to influence people on what you say and to reach out to them and in that way. But they are not translating to tickets. People who are paying money and watching are the real ones I need to worry about."
Pooja Hegde's Dance Number Monica In Rajinikanth's Coolie
Coolie, Rajinikanth's highly anticipated film, is generating a lot of enthusiasm among fans. The film's second song, Monica, which stars Pooja Hegde in a gorgeous avatar, has now been released. Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, features an all-star cast that includes a cameo by Bollywood actor Aamir Khan. It will be released in theatres on August 14, and promises a mix of action, drama and entertainment.
Within a day of its release, the music video had clocked in 5 million views and the makers shared the happy news on their official Instagram handle. Sharing a snippet from the music video, they wrote, 'Thalaiyae suththavaikkum, sooravali ponnachi!5M+ love for our sensational #Monica. Watch the second single #Monica from #Coolie starring Pooja Hegde."
The film is highly anticipated because it will reunite actors Sathyaraj and Rajinikanth after nearly 38 years. The two last appeared together in the 1986 Tamil film 'Mr Bharath', in which Sathyaraj played Rajinikanth's father. Interestingly, Sathyaraj turned down chances to appear in some of Rajinikanth's other films, including Enthiran and Sivaji.
Coolie is Rajinikanth's 171st film, which is about gold smuggling. Interestingly, filmmaker Lokesh Kanakaraj has stated that Coolie will be a standalone film, not part of his Lokesh Cinematic Universe. War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, is also slated to compete with Rajinikanth's film at the box office, and fans are excited to watch both blockbusters in theatres.

Veteran actor Kirron Kher is known for her open and honest personality, both on and off screen. In a recent interview, she revealed that she never praises her family's work unless it truly impresses her, even if that means hurting feelings at home. 'I am not one of those people who appreciates family members just like that. My husband feels bad about it,' she told News18, admitting she can't pretend to like every film Anupam Kher has done. 'It shows on my face,' she laughed, recalling how she didn't enjoy Sikandar's performance in Tigmanshu Dhulia's Milan Talkies. Advice to Sikandar: 'Be more like Anupam' Kirron shared that she often urges her son to be less selective with projects. 'Anupam has done all the films because he had to earn money and take care of the house and the family. Sikandar is a laat saheb... but things don't work that way,' she pointed out. Kirron acknowledged she had the 'luxury of choice' because Anupam bore the financial responsibility, a privilege she believes Sikandar cannot afford if he wants to keep working consistently. Kirron Kher drops a picture from a lunch date with her husband Anupam Kher; fans say 'You both are looking cute' Anupam Kher on the 'void' of not having children Married since 1985, Kirron and Anupam Kher do not have children together.
