Woman reveals $3 Temu product solves common winter car problem
Nicole took to TikTok to share a clip of her bargain purchase from the online marketplace – a tiny squeegee for her car side mirrors.
In the video, she shows her frosted-over side mirrors from the driver's seat, extending the $3 device and quickly clearing the mirror so that she has complete visibility.
'Best $3 I've ever spent,' she declares.
Other social media users were equally impressed with the handy little device.
'This is revolutionary,' one social media user commented.
Another said: 'OMG I need to get one of these.'
'I got one of these. Best thing ever,' another happy customer declared.
Fellow social media user Alexandra posted a very similar clip raving about the gadget. This time, the video featured the popular song Car Wash playing while she cleared the side mirrors.
'If you haven't got one, you need one,' she said.
Kmart also stocks a car side mirror squeegee, which sets back customers $5, and Amazon also stocks similar products.
It's not the first time a cheaper item has been used to solve a routine car problem, with a woman keeping a $2 pair of tongs from Kmart in her car.
The social media user, who goes by @asian.barbie on TikTok, said whenever someone new jumps in her car they ask about the Kmart item.
'Great question, I have an even better answer,' the young woman explained, saying she wasn't the best driver.
'But you know when you come up to those boom gates at the car park and they've got a little ticket machine?
'I can never get close enough so I just whip out my handy dandy tongs.'
The driver explained she uses the tongs to grab the ticket with ease, revealing that if there is someone behind her waiting she always checks the review mirror and catches them laughing.
The driver said she'd rather be the 'weirdo with the tongs who is low-key kinda smart' than the person struggling to get a ticket who holds up the line behind her.
Social media users had a strong reaction to the hilarious hack.
'I always have to put my car in park, take off my belt and lean out the window or open the door,' one person complained.

Aussies divided on business owner's unique security strategy
Don't miss out on the headlines from Lifestyle. Followed categories will be added to My News. For anyone living or working in a busy area, there's nothing worse than someone parking on your property. One Queensland local has taken a slightly more aggressive approach to turning people away, and it's going completely viral online. Want to join the family? Aussie TikTok account @rockhamptonchaos has gone viral showing the unique way they get people to stop parking in their driveway. The driveway belongs to a business near a busy street in Rockhampton, where people choose to park despite signage which appears to read 'Parking or stopping here is illegal' and 'Automatic sprinkler in use'. And, the videos show drivers copping some serious consequences, being hit by this sprinkler as soon as they pull into the driveway. One video, filmed earlier this week on a security camera, has garnered over 11 million views, and shows driver after driver copping a spray, with some even being hit with their windows or doors open - resulting in a very wet drive to find a new car space. 'Love it!' The majority of commenters are on the business owner's side, calling out the entitlement of those who park in the driveway. 'I love that the time delay is *just* long enough to trigger after they open the door,' one person said. 'I love how every time a car pulls up, the ground is already wet,' said another. 'I looove how unhinged the sprinkler is. Like it's not a nice mist, it's a full on tropical storm. Love it,' a third agreed. 'Seems miserable' Others, however, weren't so happy about the action, calling it unnecessarily cruel. 'Just put up a big 'no parking' sign and paint the driveway red or yellow, no reason to ruin people's day. Unless they ignore the signs then spray away,' one person said. 'Seems miserable to wait for people to park and assault them with water. I'm happy you get to get away with this because some people get fined for things not even this directly offensive sigh,' another commenter said. Father of three goes viral for taking horse to Bottle-O drive-thru in bid to save fuel
When Daryl Braithwaite said 'we'll be riding on the horses' in his 1991 hit, he probably didn't mean through the local Bottle-O. But 'that's the way it's gonna be' for an Aussie dad wanting to ditch fuel prices in the most Aussie way possible. Father of three Eathon White was on the way home from a trip to Kmart with his 13-year-old daughter for hair ties and blue tac, before making a very important pit stop. The pair atop of their horse, named Fox, were captured going through a Bottlemart drive-thru. In remarkable scenes, Mr White is seen pulling up to the window, while on the phone, before a worker steps out bringing two cans of bourbon and eftpos machine. Mr White then stuffs the cold beverages in his hoodie pockets, pays, and Fox swiftly trots off. 'The young bloke in the Bottle-O sort of turned his head and said 'what the hell's that?' and I said, 'yeah mate, you're looking at it. It's a horse in a drive-thru Bottle-o,'' Mr White said on the Today Show. 'He said, 'yeah but what do you want?' I said, 'a drink mate. I'm on my home, I'm thirsty.'' Mr White, a truck driver, said he already spends close to $200 a week on fuel, but has instead decided to leave his motorised vehicles at home for local trips around town in a bid to save the extra cash. 'It costs me nothing to ride him up the street and it makes people smile and it makes people happy and joyful and everyone stops and says hello. Nobody does that when you're driving a car,' he said. 'My daughter said to me, 'are you going to drink them on the way home?' 'I said 'No, I'm going to wait until I get home,' because I'm pretty sure the rules are the same for if you're riding a horse you're not allowed to ride and drink as if you are drinking and driving.' Mr White said travelling on horseback provide his kids with a sense of adventure unseen since technology took off and could do the same for others. 'They're stuck on their phones, they're getting anxiety ridden, depression ridden. No drive to do anything. Put them on a horse and they'll want to be outside all day, every day,' he said. Today show host Karl Stefanovic chose to see the funny side. 'So you're drinking-horsing and texting at the same time, with your 13-year-old in the back. This is why I love this country. We're taking the country back champion.' The next adventure: Mickey-D's. 'They want to ride on the railway line back into town and then go back up the other way so they get a good ride in and go through the drive-thru at Macca's.'
