Cult classic "dark and cryptic" '90s crime thriller finds new UK streaming home
Twin Peaks has found a new streaming home in the UK.
To mark 35 years since the release of the cult classic series, it's been confirmed that all 30 episodes of Twin Peaks - which aired in 1990 and 1991 - will be available to stream on Mubi from 13 June.
Mubi is available to add as a Prime Video channel on Amazon, costing £11.99 per month. However, you can start a 7-day free trial before paying for the subscription.
Created by the late David Lynch and Mark Frost, the '90s thriller follows FBI agent Dale Cooper (Kyle McLaughlan) as he investigates the murder of local teenager Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) in the town of Twin Peaks.
"As the investigation progresses, several other mysteries and conspiracies, edging on the supernatural, are uncovered around Twin Peaks, all linking back to Laura's murder," the synopsis adds.

"Launching Twin Peaks is a dream for Mubi, bringing one of the most loved and discussed series in TV history to the platform," said Katharina Feistauer, VP Global Head of Programming at Mubi.
"Whilst this launch has been months in the making, the sad news of David Lynch's death only a few weeks ago makes this opportunity to show his iconic work even more special.
"We are excited for the Lynch fans in our membership to revisit the episodes comprehensively, as well creating an opportunity for new audiences to discover it for the first time."

A follow up season titled Twin Peaks: The Return was released in 2017.
The series is set 25 years after the events of the original Twin Peaks and picks up the story of Dale Cooper, who was last seen in 1991 pursuing a renegade agent into a supernatural realm called the Black Lodge.
Dale became trapped in the realm when a doppelgänger inhabited by a malevolent spirit called BOB escaped. The Return picks up with him trying to free himself from the Lodge to put a stop to BOB and finally close the case of Laura Palmer's murder.
Twin Peaks will be available to stream on Mubi from 13 June.

Wicked 2 debuts first clip of iconic song in new teaser ahead of trailer release
Wicked fans have been treated to a first tease of iconic song 'For Good' in an exciting new teaser clip. The anticipated second movie instalment of the hit musical, starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, arrives in cinemas this November and audiences don't have long to wait to see the official trailer. Universal Pictures UK revealed that the trailer for Wicked: For Good will drop this Thursday (5 June), sharing a new clip to tease the trailer release. The clip itself saw the Wicked cast appear in character to the tune of the film's namesake title - and one of the musical's beloved songs - 'For Good'. The song plays as a piano instrumental version, with Erivo and Grande's voices heard together for the famous lyric: "I have been changed." Erivo is the first to appear as Elphaba in the clip, followed by Jonathan Bailey's Fiyero, Michelle Yeoh's Madame Morrible and Jeff Goldblum's The Wizard. Related: Ethan Slater stars as Boq, followed by Marissa Bode who plays Elphaba's sister Nessarose Thropp. The clip ends on Grande as Glinda, who waves her wand and the film title appears.
