Launch of "Identity of Faith" volleyball championship in Sana'a
Sana'a - Saba:
The "Identity of Faith" volleyball championship, organized by the Steering Committee of the General Volleyball Federation under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and with the support of Kamaran and Yemen Mobile, will start tomorrow, Monday.
The tournament lasts five days at the Sam Entertainment Club in Sana'a, with the participation of 80 players representing eight teams. The head of the committee, Walid Faye, explained that the tournament is the first activity of the committee after its formation, and aims to revitalize volleyball in Yemen.
Today, Sunday, the technical meeting of the tournament was held, where the regulations were discussed and the teams were divided into two groups:
The first group: identity, faith, the promise of the hereafter, the light of the message.
The second group: piety, conquest, wisdom, victory.
The first and second of each group qualify for the semi-finals according to the "scissors" system, with the two winners qualifying for the final.

Scout team training workshops held in Sana'a summer schools
Sana'a - Saba: The Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Courses in the capital's districts, along with district executive committees, on Thursday organized training workshops for scout teams involved in summer schools across Sana'a. Seventy-nine trainees learned about the scouting movement, its principles, structure, traditions, skills, team formation, and participation in cultural, sports, and scouting activities. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Abdullah al-Razihi, Scout Commissioner in the capital, Ali Shamlan, and Deputy Director of School Activities, Abdullah Al-Madani, observed the workshops. They emphasized the importance of scouting in developing youth skills, promoting values, Quranic culture, and faith identity, as well as its role in community service and awareness. They also highlighted the significance of these workshops in qualifying scout teams according to established principles, through coordination between the Ministries of Youth and Sports and Education, to enhance their participation in community-serving programs. Martyrs Al-Deif & Al-Malsi teams top Ramadan Summer Football Forum's buds & cubs
Sana'a - Saba: The Ramadan Summer Forum Championship, organized by the General Department of Qualitative Activity under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, continued at Al-Dharafi Stadium in the capital Sana'a for the cubs and buds categories. In the buds category, Martyr Hassan Nasrallah's team beat Martyr Qasim Soleimani's team with five clean goals, scored by Amir Mabrouk with two goals, Abdul Rahman Al-Sirafi with two goals and Ali Al-Jamal with one goal. In the second match, the Martyr Al-Qaeda team beat the Martyr Al-Sinwar team by three goals without reply, scored by Walid Al-Sebai with two goals and Amr Al-Sharaabi with one. In the cubs competition, the Al-Malsi Martyr team beat the Al-Madani Martyr team by four goals to one, with Saleh Al-Kamim scoring two goals, Mustafa Muftah and Ibrahim Al-Nuaimi scoring one goal each, while Al-Madani's goal was scored by Abdullah Marsh. The Martyr Al-Sammad team defeated the Al-Madani team by three goals to one, Al-Sammad's team scored Aseel Al-Arda, Hashim Al-Hismi and Wesam Al-Shuwaitar, and Al-Madani's team scored Youssef Al-Asbahi. Martyr Yahya Al-Sinwar Team Crowned Champion of Late Ali Fayyad Volleyball Tournament
Sana'a - Saba: The Martyr Yahya Al-Sinwar team was crowned champion of the second edition of the Late Ali Fayyad Ramadan Volleyball Tournament, organized by the Steering Committee of the Yemeni General Volleyball Federation and the Federation's branch in the Capital Secretariat, with the participation of 8 teams. The team secured the title after defeating the Martyr Saleh Al-Sammad team in the final match with two clean sets, scoring 25/18 in both sets. The Martyr Al-Qubari team claimed third place after defeating the Martyr Hassan Nasrallah team in two straight sets (25/12 and 25/10). After the tournament, the winning teams were honored by sports and federation officials. The Martyr Yahya Al-Sinwar team received the championship trophy, gold medals, and a cash prize, while the Martyr Saleh Al-Sammad team was awarded the runner-up trophy, silver medals, and a cash prize.
