'Walking Dead' actress Kelley Mack dies at 33
Her death was announced by her sister in an Instagram post on Wednesday, saying the actress "peacefully" died on August 2. Her mother Kristen and her aunt Karen were with her
'It is with indelible sadness that we are announcing the passing of our dear Kelley. Such a bright, fervent light has transitioned to the beyond, where we all eventually must go,' she said.
'Kelley has already come to many of her loved ones in the form of various butterflies. She will be missed by so many to depths that words cannot express,' she added.
A memorial service will be held in Ohio on August 16.
Ending the post, Kelly's sister expressed how proud she was of Kelley, "I want you all to know how brave that tough SOB was, especially when she decided to make the leap to be reunited with God," she wrote.
According to a report by Deadline, Kelley died of glioma, a type of tumor that forms in the brain or spinal cord, that is often cancerous, and can be life-threatening.
Kelley played Addy in the ninth season of the hit post-apocalyptic zombie franchise. Aside from 'Walking Dead,' she also appeared in the TV series '9-1-1,' and 'Chicago Med.'

Ahead of meeting a new set of #JuleSquad, Asia's Limitless Songbird shared what she hopes to impart to them. First is that they are part of a competition where someone will win and the rest will lose. 'So whatever happens, just always perform or sing like it's your last performance,' she said in a group interview. 'Give your 101% best and commitment sa lahat ng gagawin nila.' Julie Anne also said she hopes the kids will ask for guidance and 'always, always, always have faith in yourself no matter what.' ‘Wicked: For Good' first look teases how Elphaba, Glinda's friendship is tested; Cynthia Erivo's take on ‘No Good Deed'
The excitement for 'Wicked: For Good' is on! The highly anticipated sequel has dropped a first look featurette showing Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo discussing the challenges in the friendship between the two characters they portray: Elphaba and Glinda. In the background, Elphaba (Cynthia) can be heard singing a few lines from the classic song 'No Good Deed,' including its central line "No good deed goes unpunished.' The featurette also showed a glimpse at Dorothy, alongside the Tin Man, the Scarecrow, and the Lion. As the sequel concludes the tale of the witches from the Land of Oz, director Jon M. Chu said the story is about two friends trying to get back together in some way, even if the fates don't allow that. 'I believe their bond is unbreakable, but it is deeply challenged by the distance that they have to navigate,' Cynthia said, with Ariana adding that the viewers will get to see how far Elphaba and Glinda can push their friendship. Along with the release of the featurette are new character posters of Glinda and Elphaba. 'Wicked: For Good' premieres in cinemas on November 21.
