Robbie Williams packs on the PDA with wife Ayda Field as they attend a private viewing party for his Radical Honesty solo art exhibition

Daily Mail02-05-2025
Robbie Williams shared a tender kiss with wife Ayda Field as she accompanied him to a private viewing party for his Radical Honesty solo art exhibition at London's Moco Museum on Thursday.
The singer, 51, cut a casual figure in a denim jacket and matching jeans at the event celebrating his third exhibition of his art work.
Robbie was supported by his loving wife Ayda, 45, who dressed to impress on the night in a multicoloured cropped jacket.
Ayda teamed her checked jacked with a white top and flared blue jeans, while boosting her height with a pair of silver platforms.
The couple appeared in great spirits as they mingled with art lovers inside while taking in Robbie's artwork.
Meanwhile, the Angels hitmaker happily greeting the hordes of fans who had gathered outside, with the star seen snapping selfies with his admirers.
The exhibition also attracted a star-studded crowd, with famous faces including the likes of Leigh Francis, Louis Theroux and Ella Morgan in attendance.
The exhibition's host venue, the Moco Museum - which has branches in London, Amsterdam and Barcelona - shared a snap of Robbie as they promoted the art event.
It said: 'In Radical Honesty, Robbie invites us to embrace the full spectrum of being human, from anxiety and self-doubt to self-love and mirror pep talks.'
It added the quote: 'In a world obsessed with keeping it together, embracing the chaos might just be the most radical thing you can do.'
Robbie first swapped the microphone for a paintbrush back in 2022 with his debut exhibition.
After making a dramatic career change, Robbie showcased his creative side by presenting black and white paintings he created with interior designer Ed Godrich at Sotheby's New Bond Street galleries in April that year.
He showed off 14 of his stunning art creations at the exhibition, which was open to the public, while Robbie and Ed also auctioned off their painting Beverly, marking the first time they had sold one of their co-creations.
Speaking of his artwork at the time, Robbie said: 'Art is really whatever you want it to be. Just like music it has the ability to soothe and provide company when you're lonely.

'Art and music have punctuated my ups and downs, but more importantly they both have the power to change how I feel in a moment.'
Robbie later admitted he'd given up 'cocaine and strippers' for 'colouring in' as he began to make money out of his lockdown hobby.
In an interview with The Times in 2022, Robbie revealed that part of the attraction to art was that it wasn't music: 'It used to be cocaine and strippers - now it's colouring in'
He continued: 'I've done the same thing now for 30 years — album, promo, tour,' he then explained that art renaissance, however, 'has led me to be a different person'
Meanwhile, despite snapping photos with fans at his art exhibition, last month Robbie opened up with his fans about how he really struggles being recognised and asked for selfies when out and about.
The star took to Instagram as he recounted how he had been asked for multiple photos on a recent flight as he admitted requests for selfies cause him discomfort and panic.
The star took a bow and was cheered along while introducing his exhibition
The singer explained that while he can mask it well, he urged fans to consider what else could be going on for him in the moment as he made the point he is a normal man with a family.
Discussing the flight he pointed out he had had little sleep and was trying to look after his four children, and one selfie would undoubtedly trigger more as it would alert people as to who he was.
He explained that one fan had passed him a 'lovely note', praising his Netflix documentary that detailed his struggles with fame.
Robbie then decided to write back as he explained a selfie would cause his anxiety to 'spike, because then the whole cabin would start wondering who I am'.
Revealing that more notes and requests for photos then followed he dived into a discussion on being a celebrity and the pressures that come with it.
He explained: 'There's a kind of unspoken law: as a celebrity, you should be accessible 24/7.
'Greet all strangers like you're the mayor of the best town anyone's ever visited. Make sure their wishes are met, whatever they are.'
Yet Robbie stressed that celebrities are normal humans like the rest of us as he added, many are 'fans of fame, not necessarily of me'.
He wrote: 'What I am saying is - let people be people. Humans struggling - like we all are - in one way or another.'
The star urged fans to give celebrities the 'dignity of their privacy, their wants, their needs', as he could be 'on the phone with my mum, talking about her dementia or thinking about my dad's Parkinson's'.

EastEnders star Nicholas Ball died 'penniless with nothing left to his wife'

EastEnders legend Nicholas Ball died broke and left nothing to his wife, legal documents show. The actor passed away aged 78 last year following a short battle with illness. He played Terry Bates in the BBC soap and also had roles in Footballers' Wives and Hazell. But records show Ball, of Porchester Square, London, left no will and nothing in his estate. A High Court document shows administration of the estate was granted to his wife Ayda. It reads: 'The application has stated that the gross value of the estate in the United Kingdom amounts to £0 and the net value amounts to £0.' The couple married in 2019 after they had been together for more than 20 years, as reported by NeedToKnow. She revealed his death in June last year saying: 'It is with the heaviest and broken of hearts, that I share the loss of my beloved Nicky-Nicholas Ball.' Ball had been married to actress and psychologist Pamela Stephenson from 1978 to 1984. She left him for comedian Billy Connolly. Ball had a long acting career but reportedly struggled for parts after private eye series Hazell ended. He had played a number of supporting roles in various television series including Z-Cars, Softly Softly: Task Force, The Young Ones, Bergerac, Tales of the Unexpected, Casualty, and Holby City. Director Keith English paid tribute to him after his death, saying: 'Fabulous as star of hit TV show 'Hazell' in the 1980s, Nick was a terrific actor - kind and generous. 'He starred in our short film 'Top Dog' in 2001 in which he was great and we became life-long friends with him and his wife, Ayda Kay. In a statement, Ball's agent said he 'passed away following a short illness' and that his 'successful acting career on stage and screen spanned an impressive six decades' 'Indeed, we were honoured when the pair of them asked if they could be married in our garden in 2019. 'A fabulous affair. 'One of our fondest memories was going to see Jerry Goldsmith play The Royal Albert Hall with him and his great friend Mel Smith. 'Mel had hired a box for the show. 'Both men were known hell-raisers and, sure enough, when the four of us rolled up they were both fairly merry and proceeded to football-chant 'There's only one Jerry Goldsmith!' between musical pieces to an uneven response from the rest of the auditorium. 'Nick was a loving husband, friend and a wonderful actor. 'We enjoyed every minute of his company.

Robbie Williams fans gobsmacked as singer faces unlikely 'stage invader' on tour

Robbie Williams is currently on the European leg of his Britpop tour, and fans were left gobsmacked when he bravely faced an unlikely 'stage invader' at a recent show Robbie Williams is in the middle of a mammoth 37-show tour in support of his latest album, Britpop, which has seen him play a number of shows in the UK and across Europe. But during one recent gig in Germany, the former Take That star left fans gobsmacked as he was seen bravely fending off an unlikely "stage invader" who tried to interrupt the show. ‌ A video of the incident was shared on TikTok by The Lottery Winners, a pop band who have been supporting Robbie on his tour throughout the UK and Europe. The clip begins with Robbie inviting his "new best mate" and Lottery Winners lead singer Thom Rylance on stage, before the fellow musician alerts him to the unwelcome guest on stage with them. ‌ But the stage invader isn't an overzealous fan, but is instead something that could be even scarier - a wasp. ‌ Thom tells Robbie in the clip: "There's a wasp right on you." As the Angels singer moves out of the way, the wasp flies between the two, and Thom can be heard screaming while Robbie tells the insect to "f**k off". He then also jokingly tells the crowd to "finish the gig yourselves" as he attempts to run off stage away from the angry wasp. WARNING: The below TikTok video contains strong language. ‌ The crowd descends into laughter as Thom lifts his guitar as a weapon to fight off the wasp, before declaring to Robbie that he's "so scared". Robbie then stated: "I'm not. I'm butch." Robbie asks Thom if he would be willing to play guitar for some of his songs, but is cut off mid-sentence as the wasp comes back for more and he's forced to pull off the scarf he's wearing and throw it into the crowd to try and deter the insect. ‌ The video then cuts to Robbie and Thom performing Take That's hit Relight My Fire together, before Thom once again has to run away as the wasp returns to taunt him some more. Commenters on the video were left in stitches by the duo's antics, as people joked they needed "security" to escort the wasp off stage so the musicians could get back to the show. One person said: "Where's security when you need them?" Another added: "When the best concert ever becomes a stand-up comedy show."
