Wednesday season 2: Netflix release time, cast and more
While fellow cast members, including Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), and Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), will also be back for the new season.
They will be joined by new faces like Joanna Lumley (Grandmama Hester Frump), Steve Buscemi (Principal Dort), Billie Piper (Isadora Capri) and Christopher Lloyd (Professor Orloff).

How did season 1 of Wednesday end? (SPOILERS)
The first season of Wednesday remains the most-viewed English-language series on Netflix of all time.
The finale saw Wednesday Addams (Ortega) confirm her suspicions that Tyler (Hunter Doohan) is the Hyde terrorising Nevermore Academy.
She also discovers the hidden identity of Tyler's master - Marilyn Thornhill, aka Laurel Gates (Christina Ricci).
Wednesday eventually wins out over the pair and saves Nevermore.
Season one ends with Ortega's character driving away from school with her family, armed with her very first mobile phone.
In the last scene of the finale, she receives multiple texts from an unknown contact.
"The Stalker" sends a few photos of Wednesday with her love interests, a Memoji-style gif of a Wednesday avatar being stabbed in the head, and a text reading, 'I'm watching you.'

Ortega, speaking to Netflix's Tudum, said: "We ended Season 1 with a stalker that was still after me. Tyler has been sent to a psych ward, and half the school is burnt down.
'We start off Season 2 with Wednesday being kidnapped.'
What time does Wednesday come out on Netflix?
Fittingly, part one of Wednesday, season 2, will be released on Wednesday (August 6).
The first four episodes of Wednesday (season 2), which make up part one, will be available to watch in the UK on Netflix from 8 am.
Part Two will be released on September 3, 2025.

In the new season, Wednesday Addams (Ortega) must "navigate family, friends, and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem", Netflix explains.
Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery.
Co-creators, showrunners, and executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, speaking to Tudum, added: "Wednesday goes into this season thinking she knows Nevermore.
'But as soon as she returns, nothing happens the way she's expecting.
"She thinks she's going to be in control, that she knows where all the bodies are buried, but she doesn't.
"Nothing is what it seems in Season 2.'

How old was Jenna Ortega in Wednesday?
Ortega was born on September 27, 2002, which means she is currently 22 years old.
Filming for Wednesday took place primarily in Northern Ireland between April and November 2024, according to Deadline.
This meant Ortgea was 21 when she began filming season two of Wednesday, and 22 when it came to an end.

Will there be a Wednesday season 3?
Wednesday has already been renewed for a third season, Netflix has confirmed.
Co-creator and showrunner Alfred Gough said: '[Co-creator and co-showrunner] Miles [Millar] and I have been doing this long enough to know that shows like this don't come along every day.
"It's such an alchemy of writing, directing, acting, crew, streamer, studio, and fans.
"We remain grateful and excited to continue this journey and tell these stories with all of our partners.'
Netflix said season three promises to go "even further, on every level".

Livingston man leaps from football to clubbing and the supernatural with new series of books
'I thought I'd write a story back in times when things seemed a bit more united and fun' A Livingston author has released the first in a series of four novels set in West Lothian. Ian Colquhoun has already penned a dozen book and his latest written work, The Wood Fairy, is a fair leap from the majority of his previous works which have focused on his love of Hibernian FC. Ian, 47, was brought up in the Craigshill area but after a spell living in Edinburgh her returned to Livingston a decade ago and now resides in Murieston. The Wood Fairy is set in the clubbing scene of Ian's youth but with a supernatural twist. He said: 'It's a significant change of direction because for the last 10 years I've only written books about Hibs. 'A couple of my older books have been sort of historical fiction, but nothing like this. This is my first foray into dark, contemporary, and funny, fiction. 'This will be my thirteenth book and I have written a fourteenth but that won't be out until November. 'The Wood Fairy is the first of a series called Broken Biscuits. I'll be bringing out four in the next year or so. 'The common theme is life in central Scotland, outwith Glasgow and Edinburgh, in the towns alongside the M8 from the 1990s until the present day. 'It seems that everyone is so angry and divided these days, that I thought I'd write a story back in times when things seemed a bit more united and fun. 'So it's set in the 90s and the clubbing scene, and is about a group of friends that work during the week and live for the weekend when they go to places like The Arches and Room at the Top. 'I used to do all that 26 years ago, and it was the best time of my life. The idea of the supernatural character in the book that the clubbers meet came to me a couple of years ago as a fully formed idea in my head.' Ian is a survivor. Although many of his books are football-related, his first was an autobiographical account of his life struggles after he was the victim of a house fire which resulted in him suffering 60 per cent burns. He had to have both legs amputated, as well as losing the fingers of his right hand to the first knuckle. From that personal tragedy came the spur to begin writing. 'My first book Burnt was in 2007, a sort of autobiography – a survival memoir," said Ian. "I was always good at English but as soon as I left school I ended up working in a warehouse, mainly because I wanted to have the life at the weekends. 'I done that for nine years but after I got burnt I couldn't do it any more and had to use my brain a bit more. I went and done some short courses at the University of Edinburgh and then everything took off from there. I write specifically to combat my PTSD. 'I type, but strangely, even when I do write [with a pen] I still use my right hand as it was easier to struggle a bit with my right than to learn how to do it left-handed.' Ian doesn't let his disabilities and mobility issues hold him back and is more active than many fully-mobile people. He continued: 'As well as the books, I've done bits and bobs over the last 20 years including work for the Army as a casualty, and was still doing that last year and may do some more this year. That helps to train medics. 'You've got to do what you can when the world has been a bit unfair to you.' A season ticket holder at Easter Road, Ian has also done some acting and is a keen swimmer. Earlier this year completed a charity swim to help others. 'I swam 10K to raise money for Cancer Research UK back in May,' Ian added. It will also be available from Waterstones in the near future.

Thursday Murder Club trailer offers first look at David Tennant's character
The first full-length trailer for The Thursday Murder Club film has offered a first look at the characters portrayed by David Tennant and Jonathan Pryce. The adaptation, based on the book series by game show host and author Richard Osman, follows a crime-busting group of retirees, played by: Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren; former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan; Calendar Girls actress Celia Imrie; and Gandhi star, Ben Kingsley. Advertisement Director Chris Columbus confirmed in an interview with entertainment news website Collider in April that Doctor Who star Tennant, 54, would play Ian, the owner of Coopers Chase retirement village, where the four retirees live, with Olivier-winning actor Pryce, 78, starring as Stephen, the husband of Dame Helen's character, Elizabeth. The trailer, which follows the release of a teaser in May, features a clip of Tennant with slicked back hair and a Dolce and Gabbana T-shirt looking angry. Agnes De Mill is played by Evie Templeton, and it's her breakout role as an actress. She was born in Barbados, and attended London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, where she had a drama scholarship. She made her acting debut in 2022, with minor roles in the BBCS Life After Life, and Disney film Pinocchio. Her first major role came in 2023, when she starred alongside Tuppence Middleton in horror movie Lord of Misrule as Grace Holland. She also voices the character of Laura in Konami's remake of Silent Hill. In an interview with Netflix's Tudum, Templeton spoke about her belief that what you watch growing up helps to shape you. 'I think that watching movies, and especially watching things that touch on more difficult topics, definitely gives you a greater understanding of the world and helps you not just live in a bubble. It helps you become a more sympathetic, understanding, and perceptive person,' she told the outlet. Evie Templeton is 16 years old. In the interview with Netflix's Tudum, Evie detailed how she was nervous to play Agnes, but was welcomed with a collaborative approach from Tim Burton and co-creators and showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. 'They just talked about me as a person, about my idea of Agnes, and we started to build her together,' she said. 'They had a very collaborative approach throughout the whole of filming, which is amazing — to be a 15-year-old girl with that kind of involvement in building the character.' She also took part in a Zoom chemistry read with Ortega and Emma Myers, who plays Enid. Speaking about calming her nerves, Templeton said 'I listened to a little bit of Billie Eilish,' continuing, 'I tried to keep myself relaxed, did some triangular breathing, which I always try to do before auditions and performances. And then I tried to think that they were just my friends, and that I was just having a conversation with my friends, and that definitely helped. It was very surreal, though. Afterwards, I ran around my kitchen and then had to lie down.'
