Greenbids' technology creates custom bidding algorithms, specifically tailored for each brand, aligning every campaign with the KPIs that matter most to their business. It ensures that media investments are more efficient, performance-driven, and accountable. This not only improves outcomes but also gives brands greater control and transparency over how their budgets are spent. Greenbids brings a robust and growing client base of over 80 brands already using its platform, including Spotify, Ford, and Accor.
Spotify leveraged Greenbids' technology for their Wrapped Annual Marketing Initiative across 16 EMEA markets to enhance campaign performance at scale while reducing environmental impact, demonstrating how smart custom algorithms can drive both results and responsibility. Perion will bring this technology globally to leverage its U.S. presence in over 30 countries and deep relationships with agencies and advertisers.

This acquisition expands Perion's addressable market significantly by adding walled garden channels such as YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, together with AI-driven lower-funnel capabilities, complementing its existing strength in top and mid-funnel environments, including CTV, DOOH, and the open web. Greenbids' technology will be embedded into the Perion One platform, positioning Perion to capture a greater share of performance budgets and drive higher retention through brand-specific optimization at scale.

Tal Jacobson, Perion's CEO said: 'We see the acquisition of Greenbids as a quantum leap for the Perion One platform capabilities. We are taking another important step forward in advancing Perion One as the platform of choice for brands and agencies where media investment perfectly aligns with brand outcomes. Greenbids' technology adds a powerful layer of algorithmic intelligence tailored to each brand's unique goals. Combined with Perion's multi-channel reach, we now have a scalable advantage that can deliver optimized performance, which is specifically meaningful to advertisers and brands in uncertain financial environments, as we focus on reducing waste and increasing ROI on media spend.'

'We are excited to welcome the Greenbids team of industry experts to Perion and look forward to working together to unlock greater value for our clients and shareholders,' Jacobson added. 'It's important to note that the Greenbids product will be implemented immediately into the Perion Suite of solutions under the new name of Perion Algo, and the team will become part of the Perion team at day one, which will reduce any PMI challenges as these solutions continue to scale, and enabling our Sales team to introduce these solutions to a broader market quickly.'

Guillaume Grimbert, CEO and co-founder of Greenbids, said: 'In the past year, we started to hear more and more about Perion from Brands we interacted with which made us curious to understand their new solutions, which is now the Perion One Platform, and that initiated our initial partnership that led to this transaction. Joining Perion allows us to bring our technology into a company that shares our vision for smarter and more sustainable advertising. Together, we have a powerful opportunity to scale advertising intelligence globally and help more brands achieve meaningful business outcomes with greater transparency and impact.'

Transaction terms

The transaction terms include $27.5 million in cash paid upon closing, a two-year cash earnout of $22.5 million, and a 3-year employee retention of $15 million in cash and equity.
Article content
This deal structure reflects Perion's disciplined M&A approach — securing immediate access to transformative AI technology and a blue-chip client base while tying future consideration to performance and integration milestones. The earnout incentivizes continued growth and value delivery, ensuring strong alignment with Perion's strategy. Moreover, the retention component aimed to guarantee continuity of Greenbids' highly skilled team, who will support a successful integration and accelerate the combined offering.
Article content
In addition to the strategic rationale, the transaction is expected to be accretive to Perion's adjusted EBITDA and margins from day one. While initial integration begins immediately, the contribution to both adjusted EBITDA and revenue is expected to significantly accelerate from 2026 onward, driven by incremental synergies across technology, go-to-market, and scalability. By embedding Greenbids' advanced AI algorithm into the Perion One platform and leveraging existing infrastructure, we believe that Perion can enhance efficiency, expand its addressable market, and increase customer retention. By minimizing upfront risk and maximizing long-term upside, this transaction structure positions Perion to extract strategic and financial value from day one.

2 Soaring Tech Stocks to Buy and Hold for the Next Decade

Key Points Microsoft is well on its way to dethroning Amazon in the ever-expanding cloud market. Oracle's autonomous database business is booming, and it sees further room for growth. 10 stocks we like better than Microsoft › Investors looking for winning stock ideas for the next decade need to look no further than the companies enabling artificial intelligence (AI) adoption. The recent financial results of leading companies serving the cloud computing market show that enterprise investment in AI is still in the early stages. Here are two stocks to profit from this opportunity. Where to invest $1,000 right now? Our analyst team just revealed what they believe are the 10 best stocks to buy right now. Learn More » 1. Microsoft Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) is the 800-pound gorilla in the cloud services market. While Amazon continues to control the top spot in market share, Microsoft Azure is growing faster and is on pace to eventually overtake the No. 1 position in the cloud market. Microsoft stock is up 26% year to date. Azure and other cloud services from Microsoft posted a 39% year-over-year increase in revenue for the fiscal fourth quarter (which ended in June). Management credits its growing footprint of over 400 data centers in 70 regions around the world for its momentum. The company is further bolstering its competitive position with tools like Microsoft Fabric. This is a data and analytics platform that is rapidly expanding. Revenue grew 55% year over year last quarter, indicating that Microsoft is positioned to capture demand for AI-driven database services. Microsoft generates $281 billion in annual revenue right now, yet management noted that there is $368 billion worth of contracted backlog across its cloud business. With a company this large growing earnings per share at 24% year over year in the recent quarter, it's possible that Wall Street is still underestimating the size of the AI opportunity. Analysts are projecting low-double-digit earnings growth over the next few years, but that might be underestimating the company's opportunity. Microsoft has delivered excellent returns for investors for many years, and that streak doesn't appear to be ending anytime soon. 2. Oracle Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) is another top tech stock to ride the growing investment in cloud services. Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure business is experiencing explosive growth, which sent the stock to new highs after its fiscal Q4 earnings report in June. "In Q4, we hit double-digit revenue growth and it's only going up from here," CEO Safra Catz said during the earnings call. Oracle has been building up its cloud offering for over a decade, and it's paying off. Companies are choosing Oracle for its market-leading database services to leverage autonomous features. Autonomous database consumption revenue grew 47% year over year, accelerating from 27% growth in the year-ago quarter. Beginning in fiscal 2026, management expects growth to accelerate. Company guidance calls for total cloud revenue growth to be over 40% in constant currency, with cloud infrastructure growth of over 70%, which includes the autonomous database business. Oracle is playing an important role in enabling the AI revolution across the economy. This is evidenced by its participation in the Stargate Project with OpenAI, which aims to build state-of-the-art AI infrastructure in the U.S. The revenue expected from Stargate should at least marginally contribute to Oracle's growth over the next decade. For what it's worth, Wall Street analysts expect Oracle's adjusted (non-GAAP) earnings to grow at an annualized rate of 19% through fiscal 2030. Oracle is an industry-leading cloud database provider with a large suite of enterprise applications. It has a long history of delivering solid returns to investors, with the stock up over 500% in the last decade. With growth accelerating due to AI, it should continue to reward shareholders. 5 Brilliant Quantum Computing Stocks to Buy Right Now

Key Points Some of the legacy tech giants are participating in quantum computing. That is one great way to bridge the gap between AI and quantum technology. But quantum computing pure plays could provide massive upside if they work out. 10 stocks we like better than IonQ › Quantum computing isn't an easy area to invest in right now. Most companies agree that 2030 will be a turning point for the industry and commercially viable quantum computers will be available then. That's still a ways off, and investors need to be careful not to get in too early; otherwise, there could be a significant opportunity cost that would be incurred by investing in quantum computing instead of other possible areas. Still, I think there could be a huge opportunity if you invest in the right quantum computing stocks right now. I've got five stocks that can be purchased in a group that ensures investors get exposure to quantum computing as well as current market trends, and I think it's highly likely that this cohort outperforms the market over the next few years. Legacy tech players Quantum computing isn't an industry reserved for start-ups; some of the biggest names in tech are also investing in this technology. Two of the biggest are Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG)(NASDAQ: GOOGL) and Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT). Both of these companies are developing their own quantum computing chip in-house, which could result in massive profits down the road if each develops a viable quantum computing solution. Both companies will use quantum computing for themselves, but will also offer it to clients through their respective cloud computing services. Right now, the big growth drivers for cloud computing are the migration of traditional workloads and artificial intelligence, but quantum computing could provide another growth driver. Microsoft's CEO stated that he believes quantum computing will be the next accelerator in the cloud, which could mean further growth for both Alphabet and Microsoft. Another legacy tech player that will benefit is Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA). While Nvidia isn't directly developing quantum processing units, it's helping quantum computing players take a hybrid computing approach between traditional and quantum computing methods. It's also developing a quantum-focused version of its CUDA software, which helped it establish dominance in the traditional computing landscape. All three of these companies are excelling in the AI-driven market, but also have long-term investments ongoing in the quantum world. By investing in these three today, investors can ensure they have exposure to both current and emerging trends. But there are also a few pure plays that look intriguing. Quantum computing pure plays I also like adding picks like IonQ (NYSE: IONQ) and D-Wave Quantum (NYSE: QBTS) into this basket, because it gives investors the massive upside of a pure-play quantum computing company. These two aren't very big companies, but if they make quantum computing viable, they could turn into huge winners for investors. While some may argue these two are due to be outspent and outclassed by competitors like Alphabet and Microsoft, they are actually taking a different approach to quantum computing entirely. Most quantum computing competitors like Alphabet and Microsoft are using a superconducting approach for their chips. However, IonQ is using a trapped ion technique, and D-Wave is using a quantum annealing approach. All three of these approaches have their use cases, but it will be some time before investors know which is the best. By having exposure to all three, investors have the best chance to make a profit in this emerging industry. Although we're still a few years out from quantum computing relevance, I think owning a basket of legacy and emerging players is a smart way to ensure investors make a great profit. Should you invest $1,000 in IonQ right now? Before you buy stock in IonQ, consider this: The Motley Fool Stock Advisor analyst team just identified what they believe are the 10 best stocks for investors to buy now… and IonQ wasn't one of them.
