New leaked renders show Samsung is launching three squircle Galaxy Watches
A new leak today brings a plot twist, however. It's now looking like, alongside the Watch8 and Watch8 Classic, Samsung will also introduce the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025. Here are all three in freshly leaked renders.

We haven't heard much about a new Galaxy Watch Ultra recently, so we assumed Samsung wouldn't refresh the Ultra until next year, but this leak comes to contradict that. As you can see above, the design language has been unified between the three devices, with each one having its own unique look - but they also clearly belong to the same line as well.
The Watch8 Classic's bezel is different in order to be easily rotatable, and it also gains the Ultra's Quick Button. The Galaxy Watch8 is expected to come in two sizes, while the other two will be one size fits all.

Your Windows 11 Taskbar can start thinking for itself – here's what you need to know before it hits your laptop
Microsoft is clearly on board with the latest industry fad – AI – and now it seems to be working on putting AI in even more places on your Windows 11 laptop or PC. Now, references to a new feature called "agentic companions" for the Windows 11 Taskbar have been spotted in Windows 11 preview builds. The discovered feature suggests that the company is working on bringing AI companions to the Taskbar. The strings hinting at that were noticed in the latest Windows 11 Insider builds, and more recent builds don't reference the "agentic" part, probably to draw attention away from the feature in development. Details on what the feature exactly is are not available at the moment. Potentially, there may be an AI companion accessible via the Taskbar. It may have a dedicated system button so you would be able to activate it, and it will probably be able to help out with a current task or activity. Image Credit - Microsoft Probably, Microsoft will favor its own AI chatbot, Copilot, for the job. There are other ones like Gemini and ChatGPT that are direct competitors to Copilot, but it is not known at the time whether this dedicated button would be extensive. There are quite a lot of new AI experiences for Windows 11. In recent months, Microsoft has been working hard on adding new features to its Copilot portfolio, and some of these even require new hardware (Copilot+ PCs) to work. For example, there's the new Click To Do feature, which in a way is similar to Google's Circle To Search. The feature scans your screen, identifies images and text, and provides contextual actions. Meanwhile, Microsoft has previously teased that the future of Windows will be agentic. Agentic means that the OS may be able to act independently with a degree of autonomy. So, it's not a surprise that the latest feature in development is referenced as "agentic", even though this word, in particular, has been removed at the moment. On top of all that, there's also Copilot Vision, which may also play a role. Copilot Vision can see the screen right alongside you. Maybe this Taskbar companion will be able to harness that power as for now, we don't know exactly what this Taskbar companion will be able to do. I personally think that adding AI everywhere can feel a bit much sometimes. I like helpful features, but having too many AI tools popping up might get distracting. Still, it's interesting to see what Microsoft is experimenting with, and some people will probably love having an AI companion ready on the Taskbar. I'd just prefer it stays optional for now.

If you love foldables, this might be the one to watch for – we know when it's coming, but will you be able to get it?
Earlier this week, we mentioned that Honor is gearing up to reveal its next flip-style foldable phone, ready to go head-to-head with Samsung's latest Galaxy Z Flip 7 – at least in the world's biggest smartphone market. Well, now the company has made things official, sharing both the launch date and a sneak peek at the design and colors. The Honor Magic V Flip 2 is set to debut on August 21. Alongside the launch date, Honor gave us our first real look at the device. And at first glance, it looks a lot like the original Magic V Flip, but there are some noteworthy upgrades. The first thing that jumps out is the dual cameras on the cover screen. The original Magic V Flip had one large sensor and one smaller one, stacked vertically. The new model levels the playing field with two equally sized sensors. This new setup frees up more room for the external screen, which leaks suggest will measure over 4 inches. As for colors, the phone will come in four options, including a special edition designed by Jimmy Choo – yep, the same designer whose shoes are a dream for many around the world. Clearly, Honor is aiming at fashion lovers who want a phone that doubles as a style statement. The upcoming foldable will be available in these colors. | Image credit – Honor Other than the design and launch date, Honor hasn't spilled many details yet. Luckily, leaks give us a peek at what to expect: a 5,500 mAh battery with 80W wired charging. If that's accurate, the Magic V Flip 2 would handily beat the Galaxy Z Flip 7 in battery capacity, which only packs 4,300 mAh. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Review: The Flip in its prime Performance-wise, don't expect Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite in the Honor flip; leaks point to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 instead. Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 7 runs on the Exynos 2500, which isn't exactly flagship-level either, so the two could end up pretty evenly matched. But we'll know for sure once the Magic V Flip 2 is out in the wild. One area where Samsung might still have the upper hand? Availability. The original Magic V Flip never launched internationally, so we'll have to wait and see whether Honor is ready to take on Samsung globally or if the new flip will stay mostly a China-only affair, too.
