It's time to get back in the kitchen, because The Bear returns in just a matter of hours.
The fourth season of the Disney Plus awards darling arrives on Thursday (June 26) with all episodes streaming just in time for a weekend binge.
The last we saw of the Chicago sandwich joint it had been wholly gutted to create a haute cuisine restaurant coincidentally called The Bear.
One of the best things going for the show is that it's always returned year in, year out despite the vanishing TV dependability elsewhere.
But after two first seasons that made stars of its cast and had everyone saying 'yes chef!', the third installment was met with a more divisive reaction from viewers.
This was largely because it was a slower and more sedate affair, with a batch of episodes that largely cast minds back to the past and didn't do much to progress the plot in the present.

Here's your quick refresher on season three just in time to pick up with season four, which has some high expectations upon it after a more 'meh' outing last year.

The fact that there isn't a whole bunch to recap from season three might indicate some flaws, but where we did leave off was with a lot at the restaurant hanging in the balance.
In the final episode, Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) was invited to the last supper at hotshot Michelin locale Ever. What unfolded was essentially a long reminiscing conversation about what the business of cheffing up really means.
It was here that he finally confronted his longtime head chef tormentor (Joel McHale) – who would often feature in panicked flashbacks – but the whole thing left him unsatisfied when Carmy was hit with a Mad Men-style 'I never think about you at all' type response.

Perhaps it will also get into something I've long wondered: wouldn't the people of Chicago be annoyed that a cheap, banging sandwich place shut down and became a pricey fine dining set-up? I'd be livid.

Blind Date reboot 'set to return with HUGE twist - and it's inspired by hit ITV dating show'
Blind Date is set to make a sensational return to screens 22 years after it last aired but with a jaw-dropping twist inspired by Love Island. Earlier this month, MailOnline revealed the legendary dating show - famously hosted by the late Cilla Black from 1985 to 2003 - is being rebooted on Disney+. However, the new version will reportedly take place on a tropical island, just like ITV 's Love Island, hosted by Maya Jama – with contestants battling it out for a dream wedding on golden sands. A TV insider told The Sun: 'This sounds like a radical departure from the old Blind Date, one that definitely has hints of Love Island about it. 'But fans will recall a lot of the dates took place in hot, sunny climes abroad, and producers want to recapture some of the steamy fun, and expand upon that. 'Even the wedding element has hints of the old show because the dream was always that the dates on the programme would lead to couples tying the knot.' The iconic British game show originally saw a contestant question three potential dates hidden behind a screen – which would then slide back to reveal their chosen match. According to the insider, the reboot will retain some of the show's most beloved elements, including the famous sliding wall, and producers are said to be seeking a high-profile female host in the spirit of Cilla Black. Disney+ is expected to officially announce the Blind Date revival soon, though details remain tightly under wraps. MailOnline has contacted Disney+ for comment. It comes after MailOnline revealed earlier this month that the legendary dating show is eyeing up several well-known presenters to host the revival. In March, former This Morning host Holly Willoughby was tipped to become the next Cilla, with the presenter lining up a string of big-money deals worth up to £10million. The revival was previously being considered by Holly's husband Dan Baldwin, and the star had previously stepped into Cilla's shoes when she hosted a reboot of Surprise Surprise. An insider told The Sun at the time: 'There might not sound like obvious parallels between Holly and Cilla, but they're both two of the biggest stars of modern telly. 'Emulating Cilla isn't just about taking on her shows, it's as much about carving out a niche as a solo presenter with serious clout in the world of telly. 'But together with her husband Dan, they form the ultimate power couple in TV. She has the public appeal that gets viewers tuning in, while he has a track record of making hugely successful TV shows.' When asked about other shows he'd love to reboot, Dan suggested Blind Date, saying: 'Another one you'd like to see back, Blind Date, are we ready for that? What a Saturday night that was. I'm thinking Blind Date with Claudia Winkleman on BBC1.' Cilla was also married to a big figure in the TV industry, with her husband Robert 'Bobby' Willis, taking over as her manager after Brian Epstein's death in 1967, and negotiating her deal with LWT, which made her one of TV's highest-paid stars. 'I tried The Bear's viral dishes and had to see what all the fuss was about'
FX and Disney+'s The Bear is back for a fourth season and foodies will be treated to more delightful looking dishes as well as hard-hitting stories in the psychological comedy-drama Food fans get ready as the psychological comedy-drama The Bear series four hits our screens today. After breaking global streaming records, the hit Disney+ offering will get straight into it with the fallout from the Chicago Tribune's review of eatery. And while the show starring Jeremy Allen White is certainly about more than just culinary delights, the chance for this always-hungry reporter to try some of the viral sensations from the hit series was something my belly couldn't say no to. In the FX and Disney+ show, viewers watch White portray the role of a young chef called Carmy come from the fine dining world and return home to Chicago following a death to run his family sandwich shop. And it was one of those dishes that allowed me to tickle my taste buds. Carmy may be a world away from what he is used to by running his business in the drama, but let's just say cooking isn't my forte either. And while an award-winning chef I am most certainly not, I was left craving a trip to Chicago to try the real deal after the three dishes I whipped up. For this extremely basic cook, a Chicago-Style Steak Sandwich and Fries was the clear winner. As part of Gousto's The Bare limited edition package, which helps recreate the show's most viral dishes, I knew I was onto a winner when I first saw it. "Can't handle the heat? Go easy!" was the warning on the handy step-by-step guide. Challenge accepted! In it all went to hopefully pack a punch. While there was definitely a kick, it was just right - without sounding like one of the three bears. TikTok feeds have been overflowing with takes on this iconic Chicago Beef Sandwich and it's clear to see why. Recreating the Italian beef sandwich by moodily frying tender steak with green peppers and smothering in a savoury jus reduction left little to be desired. Loading it handsomely into a soft baguette and serve with home-cooked fries and dip. Let's just say it's a big fat yes from me. The other dishes up for grabs were THAT Crispy Omelette that got viewers drooling. It might have divided viewers in episode nine, but it got an impressive thumbs up from yours truly. Stuffed full of garlic and herb soft cheese and topped with crisps for crunch, it's safe to see why viewers became obsessed. To finish on a hat-trick of culinary delights (not all in one sitting!) was a family spaghetti with cheesy garlic bread. While I might not have had the presentation of a well-run Chicago restaurant, I was able to capture the spirit and soul of Chicago cooking right here in my North East home. And let's face it, it all went down the gullet in prompt fashion anyway! It's safe to that while a career change is definitely not on the horizon, these dishes were a huge success and left me wondering what delicacies might come from season four.
